Abstract

The study aimed to determine student learning outcomes with problem-based learning through a realistic mathematical approach in mathematics subjects for class V students. This type of research was quasi-experimental because in this study, no specific treatment (treatment) was given, but only revealed the symptoms that had been reported. It existed at the time this research was conducted, so there was no direct control over the independent variables. Data collection methods used are learning outcomes tests and documentation. The data analysis technique is the first using a descriptive statistical approach and paired sample test. The results showed that learning mathematics using problem-based learning through a realistic mathematics approach obtained an average of 80.00 students' mathematics learning outcomes, with students in the medium category with a percentage of 100%. The average normalized gain of 0.29 was convection into high, medium, and low categories, so the average normalized gain of students was in the medium category. This means that problem-based learning combined with a realistic mathematical approach to learning outcomes for fifth-grade students is in the medium category. The significance value of Asiymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.09, which is greater than 0.05. Then according to the basis of decision-making in the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test above, it can be concluded that the data are normally distributed. Thus, the assumptions or requirements for normality distributed data in the regression model have been met.

Abstract

Serangga tanah merupakan serangga yang hidup baik pada permukaan tanah maupun di dalam tanah. Umumnya, serangga tanah dapat ditemukan di perkebunan, salah satunya pada kebun kakao di Sulawesi Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui jenis serangga tanah, (2) menghitung keanekaragaman serangga tanah, (3) menghitung parameter lingkungan dan (4) mengetahui hubungan parameter lingkungan dengan keanekaragaman serangga tanah pada kebun kakao di Dusun Pessunan Kecamatan Campalagian Sulawesi Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain transek sabuk. Serangga tanah diperolah menggunakan pitfall trap, yellow trap, dan berlese tullgren pada tiga kebun pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis serangga tanah yang ditemukan di kebun kakao Dusun Pessunan, kecamatan Campalagian berjumlah 17 jenis yang terdiri dari 6 ordo dan 9 famili. Indeks keanekaragaman termasuk kategori sedang (H’=2,141), Indeks kemerataan termasuk kategori tinggi (E=0,755), Indeks dominansi termasuk kategori rendah (C=0,163), dan Indeks kesamaan jenis termasuk kategori tinggi (IS=97%). Kondisi lingkungan yang ada di kebun kakao Dusun Pessunan Kecamatan Campalagian masih berada pada batas toleransi kehidupan serangga tanah. Diketahui hanya parameter lingkungan pH dan indeks keanekaragaman Shannon Wienner (H’) yang memiliki korelasi korelasi positif dan sangat kuat (97,9%)

Abstract

Hipertensi adalah suatu kondisi dimana denyut nadi meningkat secara tidak biasa dan rutin untuk pemeriksaan tekanan darah di pelayanan kesehatan. Pengabdian ini tujuannya untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat di Desa Sanggula dalam upaya meningkatkan pemahaman tentang hipertensi. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu, edukasi mengenai hipertensi berupa materi tentang penyebab, gejala, dampak dan cara mencegah hipertensi dimana pada saat pemberian edukasi dilakukan media yang digunakan berupa Power Point (PPT). Pada pemberian penyuluhan di sekolah, hasil Uji T menunjukkan bahwa nilai p (0,000) kurang dari α (0,05), yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil Pre-Test dan Post-Test berbeda secara rata-rata. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Power Point sebagai alat pengajaran pencegahan dan pengendalian hipertensi efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang manajemen parawisata air terjun bantimurung, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi Teknik penentuan informan dilakukan secara purposive, dan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara,dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian  Terdapat beberapa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengelolaan pariwisata Bantimurung yaitu: (a) Obyek dan Atraksi Wisata yang terdapat di kawasan Bantimurung (hasil budaya dan festival tradisional masyarakat lokal) harus dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan sebagai daya pikat tersendiri bagi para wisatawan; (b) Fasilitas Pariwisata berupa sarana dan prasarana harus dapat dibenahi untuk memberikan akses kemudahan bagi pengunjung; dan (c) Pelayanan Kepariwisataan harus mampu ditingkatkan agar memberikan kepuasan kepada para pengunjung. Kata Kunci : Manajemen, Pengelolaan, Parawisata

Abstract

C-Organic is an important component of soil fertility. The intensity of agricultural land use affects the organic matter content in the soil. A spectrometer can be used to measure organic matter content through reflectance values. This study aimed to compare reflectance values and C-Organic content in rice fields with planting Index (IP) of 100 and IP of 300 in Maros Regency, as well as to analyze the relationship between reflectance values and laboratory test results. The method used involved collecting soil samples from both types of rice fields, measuring reflectance using a spectrometer in the Blue, Green, Red, and NIR spectra, and analyzing their relationship with C-Organic content. The results showed that reflectance values and C-Organic content in 300 IP were higher than in 100 IP, with the highest coefficient of determination (R²) was in red spectrum, i.e. 0.9425. The C-Organic content at the research field was classified as very low, ranging from 0.61 to 1.05%, with a higher average in 300 IP (0.96%) compared to 100 IP (0.74%). This study concluded that a spectrometer can be a fast and accurate alternative for detecting soil C-Organic content, especially at a wavelength of 650 nm.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the critical need for an in-depth understanding of research trends concerning character education values within a global context, specifically those indexed in Scopus. The objective is to map and analyze these research trends from 2013 to 2023. The methodology employed is a bibliometric review, with data extracted from Scopus in November 2022 using the keyword "character education values in schools," subsequently analyzed descriptively and through network visualization using VOSViewer. The findings reveal a consistent annual increase in publications, with Universitas Sebelas Maret emerging as the most significant contributor from Indonesia, and the United States as the most productive country of foreign researchers. The most prolific Indonesian researcher is Arifin, and international collaborations predominantly occur with researchers from the United States and the United Kingdom. The dominant research subject is Character Education, with the research development map divided into 7 clusters. The study concludes that the field of character education values continues to evolve, presenting extensive research opportunities. This research contributes to the body of knowledge by providing a comprehensive overview of the trends and directions in character education values research globally, serving as a reference for future researchers in advancing this field.

Abstract

Banjir merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang paling sering terjadi di Indonesia dan memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kelompok rentan, terutama anak-anak. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penyuluhan kebencanaan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir pada siswa kelas V SDN 100 Kendari. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan analitik observasional dengan desain cross-sectional, dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan sikap siswa setelah diberikan penyuluhan menggunakan media edukatif visual dan interaktif. Selain meningkatkan pemahaman, penyuluhan juga membentuk sikap positif siswa terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini didukung oleh partisipasi aktif guru dan siswa, serta kerja sama tim pelaksana. Kendala utama adalah keterbatasan kehadiran anggota tim dan kesiapan perlengkapan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penyuluhan di tingkat sekolah dasar merupakan strategi efektif dalam membangun budaya siaga bencana sejak dini, dan dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan sekolah siaga bencana di wilayah rawan seperti Kota Kendari.

Abstract

General Background: Fine motor development is a crucial foundation for early childhood learning readiness, particularly for writing, drawing, and self-care activities. Specific Background: Children aged 5–6 years require appropriate stimulation to strengthen finger muscles and hand-eye coordination, yet structured motor skill programs remain limited in many kindergartens. Knowledge Gap: Although playdough has been widely used in informal learning, little research has documented its systematic application in formal early childhood education. Aims: This study investigates how structured playdough activities contribute to improving fine motor skills in children aged 5–6 years at TK Pembina Muara Sabak Barat. Results: Findings revealed significant improvements, with 80% of children demonstrating enhanced abilities in rolling, cutting, pinching, and shaping objects after four weeks of intervention. Novelty: The study highlights playdough as a low-cost, engaging, and versatile medium that integrates physical skill development with creativity and thematic learning. Implications: The results underscore the importance of incorporating sensory-based play regularly in early childhood classrooms, offering practical guidance for teachers and parents to support holistic child development.
