Kata Kunci: Ikan Cakalang, Naftalena, PAH, Pelabuhan PaotereABSTRACTPolycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are organic contaminants in the environment that are toxic, carcinogenic, and mutagenic. This study aims to determine the levels of PAH compounds (naphthalene) in skipjack tuna meat in Paotere Port. The study was carried out in several stages, namely sample preparation, extraction, fractionation, and measurement of PAH compound levels (naphthalene) using GC-MS. Based on the results of the study, the fat content in samples 1, 2, and 3 was 6.5%, 5.5%, and 5.7%, respectively. The water content in samples 1, 2, and 3 was 5.3%, 4.9%, and 5,6%, respectively. Samples 1 and 3 were found to contain naphthalene compounds with concentrations of 0.0089 ppm and 0.0058 ppm, respectively, while in sample 2, no naphthalene PAH compounds were found. The average naphthalene compound contained in the sample was 0.0049 ppm, so it can be concluded that the skipjack tuna sample obtained from Paotere Harbor was contaminated with PAH compounds, namely naphthalene. Keywords: Skipjack Tuna, Naphthalene, PAH, Paotere Port
