<![CDATA[ Korespondensi Rozaerda21@gmail.com Keywords: Family Support, Stress, Diabetes MellitusObjective: To identify determine the relationship of family support with stress events in elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: This article uses analytical research with cross sectional design of 65 elderly in the Sekupang Health Center Work Area. The implementation time for 7 days starts on 4-10 June 2020. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The measuring instrument in this study was a questionnaire HDFSS and PSS. Analysis of the data used is the Chi-Square Test. Results: The results shows that there is a relationship between family support and the incidence of stress in elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the work area of Sekupang Health Center (p value 0.002) α = 0.005). It is hoped that elderly families can provide good family support so as not to cause mild stress events in the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Conclusion: (a) Most of the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus did not receive family support with mild stress, amounting to 28 elderly (43.1%). (b) Most of the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellius experienced severe stress events with less supportive family support, amounting to 9 elderly (13.8%). (c) There is a significant relationship between family support and the incidence of stress in the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the work area of the Sekupang Health Center, Batam City in 2020, with the Chi-Square statistical test obtained a P-value of 0.002 <0.05.]]>

<![CDATA[The results of the report on the health recording system for the elderly in Batam City in 2018 with the most hypertension sufferers are in the Sei Langkai Health Center area with a total of 4,863 people. This study was to determine whether there was an effect of foot reflexology therapy in the elderly with The type of design in this study was the Quasi Experimental method using the Onegroup Pretest-Postest Design. The sample used in this study amounted to 15 elderly people who have hypertension. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. This research was conducted on 20 June August 2020 in the Sei Langkai Community Health Center, Batam City. The research results were analyzed using paired t-test. The result showed that the systolic and diastolic blood pressure pre test and post test obtained a value of 0.000 (<0,05) based on this it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on Foot Reflexology on reducing blood pressure in the elderly. It is hoped that the elderly can maintain a healthy lifestyle and do light exercise to avoid an increase in blood pressure.]]>

<![CDATA[Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat merupakan semua perilaku kesehatan yang dilakukan karena kesadaran pribadi sehingga keluarga dan seluruh anggotanya mampu menolong diri sendiri pada bidang kesehatan serta memiliki peran aktif dalam aktivitas masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan memotivasi anak-anak panti dan pengasuh mengenai Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat. Metoda yang diunakan dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan media audiovisual dan leaflet. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dipanti asuhan Mahabbatul Haq Tanjung Uma Batam yang dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2019 dengan jumlah peserta 35 orang. Proses pengabdian ini akan diberikan pre tes dan post tes pada anak-anak dengan menggunakan instrumen yang dibuat oleh pengabdi berdasarkan materi yang diberikan. Hasil kegiatan pengetahuan peserta meningkat dari 34% menjadi 66%, kegiatan ini bermanfaat untuk anak-anak, serta diharapkan pada pengasuh panti untuk lebih memperhatikan pola hidup bersih dan sehat anak-anak panti.]]>

<![CDATA[Latar belakang: Diabetes Mellitus merupakan penyakit kronis serius yang terjadi karena pankreas tidak cukup memproduksi insulin. Oleh karena itu, penderita DM Tipe 2 sering mengalami masalah psikologis yaitu kecemasan yang membutuhkan dukungan keluarga. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kecemasan. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Non-probability sampling digunakan untuk menentukan sampel, yang melibatkan 66 responden. Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner Hensarling Diabetes Family Support Scale (HDFSS) dan Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS). Dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square. Hasil: diperoleh nilai (p value = 0,003 < 0,05), menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kecemasan pasien diabetes tipe 2. <![CDATA[American Health Care Association revealed that from the total turnover rate of 35.1%, an increase of 39.5%, this data shows that there was the highest increase in nursing staff by 4%. Research in the United States, Canada, UK, and Germany shows that 41% of nurses in hospitals are dissatisfied with their jobs and 22% of them plan to leave their jobs within one year. One of the factors that affect turnover intention to nurses is job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention of nurses in patient room Private Hospital, using an analytical study with a cross sectional design. The number of nurses in the study was 51 nurses. The data analysis used was the Kruskall Wallis test, Kruskall Wallis statistical test results obtained value (p value = 0.003 <0.05), indicating that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention for nurses in the inpatient room of Private Hospital, Batam City in 2020. <![CDATA[Cases of fever in toddlers are a health problem that continues to increase. WHO statistics show there are 18-34 million cases per year. One of the nonpharmacological treatments that can be done to lower body temperature in toddlers is to compress onions. This study aims to find out the effect of giving onion compresses as a decrease in body temperature in toddlers aged 1-5 years with febris in the Tanjung Sengkuang Health Center Work Area of Batam City in 2020. This research design uses experimental Quasi with a one group pre-test and post-test design approach. Sample withdrawal techniques use purposive sampling. The respondents in this study were 32 respondents. Data analysis techniques To test the hypothesis is the Paired Sample T-Test test. The results of the data analysis were obtained that after the therapy of The Onion Compress experienced a decrease in body temperature by (p-value less than 0.05). Conclusion: onion compresses can be used as an alternative to reduce fever in toddlers. The authors suggest the need to increase the role of nurses in Puskesmas by involving families to utilize alternative therapies based on evidence from research results and evidence.]]>

<![CDATA[Diabetes melitus adalah suatu penyakit yang disebabkan oleh peningkatan kadar gula dalam darah (hiperglikemi) akibat kekurangan hormon insulin yang relatif jumlahnya cukup atau sedikit. Buah naga merah memiliki kandungan menghambat penyerapan glukosa di GLUT 2 dan menyebabkan transporter mayor glukosa pada usus menurun sehingga menyebabkan kadar glukosa dalam darah turun dan dapat mencegah terjadinya diabetes melitus. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh jus buah naga merah terhadap kadar glukosa darah pada lansia Penderita diabetes melitus di Puskesmas Mentarau Kota Batam kepada 30 orang lansia. Hasilnya didapatkan rata-rata kadar gula dalam darah lansia Diabetes Melitus sebelum diberikan Jus buah naga merah adalah 250mg/dl dan kadar gula darah terendah 100mg/dl dan tertinggi 280mg/dl. Dan rata-rata gula dalam darah lansia Diabetes Melitus Setelah diberikan Jus buah naga merah adalah 125mg/dl dan kadar gula darah terendah 100mg/dl dan tertinggi 150 mg/dl. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kadar gula dalam darah pada lansia Diabetes Melitus Di Puskesmas Mentarau Kota Batam. Kesimpulan: pemberian Jus buah naga merah dapat menurunkan kadar gula dalam darah pada lansia Diabetes Melitus di Puskesmas Mentarau Kota Batam]]>

<![CDATA[In the inpatient room of the Harapan Bunda Batam hospital nurses complained of excessive workloads and the number of nurses that did not match the number of patients who had to be served. High workload will reduce nurse performance. A good nursing performance will create quality implementation of a quality nursing process. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of workload components with the performance of implementing nurses in the inpatient room at Harapan Bunda Hospital in Batam. Descriptive analytic research design, "cross sectional" approach. Data collection was carried out from 5 to 17 January 2015 in total sampling. Data was collected by observation and using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square Test. The results showed the number of patients treated was not in accordance with the number of nurses, the type of nurse nursing activities were productive, the average time for nursing nurses implementing activities was effective, the performance of implementing nurses was good for, there was a significant relationship between the number of patients, types of activities nursing with nurse nurse performance, but there is no significant relationship between the average time of nursing activities with the performance of nursing nurses in the inpatient room of the hospital. Hope Mother. Suggestions for the nursing field that the system of providing professional nursing services in inpatient installations.]]>

<![CDATA[Ketersediaan pangan di panti asuhan masih dinilai kurang dalam memenuhi kebutuhan gizi anggota panti. Kurangnya ketersediaan pangan yang cukup dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan dana dan sarana di dalam maupun sekitar panti asuhan. Keterbatasan dana diakrenakan tidak adanya modal untuk melakukan kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas dan jiwa kewirausahaan dari anggota panti. Pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi dengan prioritas untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra berupa sosialisasi memperkenalkan teknologi budidaya akuaponik kepada penguruas dan anak-anak panti usia remaja, pelatihan, perancangan dan pembuatan instalasi akuaponik, pelatihan dan pendampingan budidaya ikan dan sayur dengan metode akuaponik, pendampingan untuk pengolahan hasil panen menjadi makanan bergizi dan sehat dengan menu bervariasi, pendampingan pemasaran hasil panen ke masyarakat untuk melatih kewirausahaan anak-anak panti. Hasil dari kegiatan berupa peningkatan pengetahuan, antusias dari anggota panti asuhan, ketahanan pangan, perbaikan ekonomi dan pengembangan kualitas remaja dari hasil akuaponik. Saran dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah perlu adanya pelatihan lebih mendalam mengenai panduan pembibitan sayuran dan ikan air tawar yang lebih berkualitas sehingga meningkatkan nilai jual.]]>
