Abstract

Pain, anxiety disorder, and limited mobilization in post-caesarean mothers cause delayed lactogenesis processes. Back massage with clary sage essential oil is one of the obstetric actions that can help postpartum mother in increasing milk production, so can give exclusive breastfeeding for newborn baby. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of back massage using clary sage essential oil to the ASI post-cesarean prophylaxis. The research design used quasi experiment with post test only non equivalent control group design, sampling technique by consecutive sampling with the number of samples counted 60 respondents divided into 3 groups. Data analysis using MANOVA test with significance value P <0,05. The results obtained P value of 0,000 which means there is the effect of back massage using clary sage essential oil on milk production after cesarean section.

Abstract

BSTRACT Development is the increasing ability, body functions, and structures more complex in regular patterns and can be predicted as a result in the process of maturation. One that affects child development is nutritional status. From the preliminary data, it was found 15.9% had less nutrition in 2015 in Sidoarjo regency than the government target of 15% .The purpose of this study was to know the relationship of nutritional status with the development of children aged 3-4 years.The research design used with analytic with cross sectional approach. Data collection using KPSP to assess child development, and KMS to assess nutritional status. A sample size of 31 children aged 3-4 years. Data is presented with frequency table and cross tabulation, then analyzed by using chi square test with significance level α = 0,05. From the test results obtained p value = 0.034. Children whose development corresponds to more good nutritional status (86.7%), compared with less nutritional status (43.7%). And the dubious development of more nutritional status is less (56,3%), compared to good nutrition status (13,3%).The conclusion of this research is there is relationship of nutritional status with the development of children aged 3-4 years. Parents should strive to meet the child's nutrition for good development.

Abstract

Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is a highly contagious new type of respiratory disease (pneumonia) caused by coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). All countries are making various efforts to control covid-19, but there are still many infected victims, so WHO has designated this case as a Covid-19 Pandemic. Pregnant women are more susceptible to viral infections; this is due to changes in the immune system and body anatomy. Pregnancy checks in the hospital will be a significant risk for the threat of covid-19 transmission, while services during pregnancy are essential to avoid complications that can occur during pregnancy. This study aims to identify midwives' knowledge and practice regarding the standard of pregnancy services during the Covid 19 pandemic, using a questionnaire given to midwives as health care workers. The study design used a cross-sectional study with a chi-square statistical test to determine health services barriers during the pandemic. They were analyzed descriptivelySanples took with quota sampling, with a total of 30 village midwives in Candi Sidoarjo sub-district. The research instrument used a questionnaire. This study indicates that 70% of midwives have good knowledge but do not implement standard pregnancy care during the pandemic. The analysis results show that there is no relationship between knowledge and standard practice of pregnancy services during the Covid-19 pandemic. Conclusion: Most midwives have good knowledge and do not practice standard pregnancy services during the Covid-19 pandemic. Suggestion. The next research is to identify the achievements of the pregnancy service program during the Covid-19 pandemic.
