Abstract

Growing technological advances, special information technology, encourage people to develop media that can be used anytime and anywhere. Apart from that, classical learning methods require teachers to use media that is more relevant to the times, so that students are more motivated to learn history. Media is a learning medium that provides history for Interactive Media. Data collection techniques, which are adapted to the researchers' own needs. Survey analysis is used to verify the necessary data. The objectives of the research are: (a) to create a history of the development of interactive learning media, Interactive Media for class IX students at Odd Semester Middle Schools, (b) to use media-based learning steps for interactive learning media history for class IX students at Odd Semester Middle Schools, (c) to develop materials used in development using Interactive Media for class IX SMP Odd Semester students. The results of history learning media can be applied well in Odd Semester Middle Schools.

Abstract

Computer technology has developed recently and is used to help humans, one of the technologies is the use of the Microsoft Excel computer application. A village is a legal community unit that has territorial boundaries and has the authority to regulate and manage community interests and is led by the village head or village head. The use of Microsoft Excel has been used to process data but it is not fully known so it does not provide benefits and is less effective in serving the community. The aim of this training is to improve the quality of human resources in the Tanjung Baru village apparatus. The methods used are interviews and surveys. The results obtained from this training are an increase in the ability of Tanjung Baru village equipment and staff in operating Microsoft Excel to help smooth work and village administration services

Abstract

The potential of the tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fishery as one of the village's leading potentials needs to receive serious attention and development, and be sustainable so that it can produce quality products, if the village community's economy is to be strengthened. To be able to produce processed products made from tilapia fish that can compete in the market, professional business management is needed. This can be realized if the village tilapia fish commodity is run by quality human resources considering that this commodity is vulnerable in terms of quality and marketing. So far, tilapia fish in Batu Raden Village are mostly marketed in whole form without any further processing for restaurant and household consumption. Abstract

Perangkat desa dan mahasiswa KKN dalam berbicara dihadapan umum, tentu harus memiliki kemampuan public speaking yang mumpuni. Dalam berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan masih banyak kendala yang ditemui di lapangan ketika berbicara dihadapan umum, rasa gugup, rasa tidak percaya diri, kurangnya persiapan dan masih banyak lagi kendala yang ditemui. Menanggapi berbagai kendala yang terjadi tersebut, kami dari Universitas Baturaja merasa terpanggil untuk melaksanakan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat di Desa Bandar dalam hal pelatihan public speaking, tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini tidak lain untuk memberikan pengetahuan bagaimana menjadi public speaking yang baik dengan contoh nyata. Adapun metode yang dilakukan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi pemberian materi pelatihan public speaking, tahap persiapan simulasi, tahap pelaksanaan simulasi, tahap pemberian feedbeck, tahap tampil secara percaya diri, dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan memberikan efek yang positif terhadap peserta yang semula banyak mengalami kendala dapat dikendalikan oleh peserta dan proses public speaking mengalami perubahan yang drastis yang semula menjadi gugup, grogi, tidak percaya diri, kurang persiapan dapat teratasi, sehingga berbicara di depan umum bukan menjadi hal yanh menakutkan lagi.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas ekonomi masyarakat Desa Kungkilan melalui pemanfaatan digital marketing dan e-commerce dalam memasarkan produk berbasis kearifan lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan secara langsung kepada aparat desa dan pelaku UMKM, dengan materi fokus pada strategi promosi digital menggunakan media sosial seperti Facebook dan WhatsApp serta pengenalan konsep e-commerce. Pelatihan ini juga dilengkapi dengan praktik langsung membuat akun bisnis dan mengelola katalog produk secara online. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami konsep dasar pemasaran digital dan mulai menerapkannya dalam promosi produk lokal mereka. Kolaborasi dengan pemerintah desa turut memperkuat keberlanjutan program dan membuka peluang pemasaran yang lebih luas. Program ini membuktikan bahwa dengan pendekatan yang tepat, digitalisasi mampu menjembatani kesenjangan keterampilan dan membuka akses pasar baru bagi masyarakat desa.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama pada Program Studi Informatika Universitas Baturaja adalah sistem pengarsipan dokumen jurnal dosen yang masih bergantung pada pihak ketiga, yaitu menggunakan platform Jurnal Intech sebagai media pengarsipan dan publikasi. Platform ini digunakan oleh dosen-dosen yang memiliki penelitian ilmiah di bidang Teknik Informatika, Sistem Informasi, dan Jaringan Komputer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kendala dalam pengarsipan dokumen jurnal dosen yang belum secara optimal memanfaatkan teknologi terkini, serta untuk mempermudah mekanisme pengarsipan secara digital. Metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) diterapkan dalam pengembangan Aplikasi E-Arsip Jurnal Dosen yang dirancang. Proses pengembangan melibatkan pembuatan prototype menggunakan Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE), yang berfungsi untuk mengelola persyaratan, mengonversinya menjadi model data, mengubah model data menjadi basis data, dan menghasilkan kode secara otomatis dalam satu perangkat. Hasil penelitian ini berupa Aplikasi E-Arsip Jurnal Dosen, sebuah perangkat lunak multi-user yang dirancang untuk mendukung sistem pengarsipan digital di program studi dan siap untuk diimplementasikan.

Abstract

Feed costs are the largest component in laying hen production, which can reach 70% of the total cost, so an efficient formulation is needed to maintain profitability. This study aims to optimize laying hen feed formulations using linear programming methods to minimize feed costs without reducing nutritional adequacy. A quantitative approach was used by developing a linear programming model that considers the essential nutrient requirements such as protein, energy, calcium, and phosphorus, with feed ingredients including corn, soybean meal, bran, fish meal, and limestone. The optimization process was carried out with the help of computational tools to determine the lowest-cost combination of feed ingredients that still meets the nutritional standards of laying hens. The research results indicate that the optimized formulation successfully reduced feed costs compared to conventional formulations without compromising nutritional quality. In addition, this model also provides flexibility in substituting feed ingredients when market price fluctuations occur, allowing farmers to adjust to dynamic economic conditions. In conclusion, the linear programming method has been proven effective in formulating cost-effective layer chicken feed, offering financial benefits as well as practical applications in the poultry farming sector.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the Simplex method within the framework of operations research to optimise the distribution of student learning time at MIN 2 OKU, particularly in Mathematics, Indonesian Language, and Science subjects, which have different levels of difficulty. The research uses a quantitative approach with a mathematical modelling design based on Linear Programming. Data was obtained through observation of student learning activities, interviews with teachers, distribution of questionnaires to students, and documentation of learning outcomes as the basis for determining the objective function and model constraints. The collected data was analysed by constructing a mathematical model, which was then solved using the Simplex method to obtain the optimal solution. The results of the analysis show that the most optimal allocation of learning time is 2 hours for Mathematics, 0.5 hours for Indonesian Language, and 0.5 hours for Science. These findings provide an objective picture of more efficient and proportional learning time management according to student needs. Thus, the Simplex method has been proven to be effectively applicable in the context of primary education as a data-based decision-making tool to support more focused and rational learning planning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of human resource management audits to improve the performance effectiveness of village officials at the Bumi Jaya Village Office. A human resource management audit is a systematic evaluation activity to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of human resource management functions, such as planning, recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and compensation. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation with village officials and related parties. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of human resource management audits at the Bumi Jaya Village Office is still suboptimal. Several aspects, such as training and performance appraisal, require improvement to align with effective management standards. Through the implementation of human resource audits, the village government can identify weaknesses in the human resource management system and improve the performance and competency of village officials. The ongoing implementation of human resource audits is expected to increase the effectiveness of village officials, improve the quality of public services, and help achieve village development goals optimally

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an appropriate competitive strategy for Wijaya Laundry in Baturaja City through an analysis of internal and external factors and service quality. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and direct observation. Sampling was carried out purposively by involving 15 respondents consisting of the owners and customers of Wijaya Laundry. Data analysis was conducted using SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, as well as service quality analysis covering the aspects of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results showed that Wijaya Laundry had a number of internal weaknesses, including the absence of clear business planning, unorganised financial management, unstructured task distribution, and limited promotional activities. Externally, opportunities were not being optimally utilised, particularly the use of digital technology as a promotional medium. In addition, service quality still needed to be improved, especially in terms of the comfort of business facilities. Based on the SWOT analysis results, the recommended competitive strategy is an intensive strategy in the form of market penetration through increased promotional activities, expansion of digital-based promotional reach, and the provision of customer loyalty programmes to increase competitiveness and maintain business sustainability.
