Abstract

Students, as the nation's next generation, not only have to face the increasing complexity of goods, services and financial markets, but also have to bear greater financial risks than their parents. College students have greater income and expenses than the population as a whole. Parents should teach their children about money management as many students realize that this does not make them good economic players in today's world. This research is quantitative in nature and t-test for independent samples was used to analyze the data. A total of 192 students participated in this research, both those who were working and those who were not working. Based on the study findings, there is a significant difference for financial literacy and no significant difference for financial management between working and non-working students.

Abstract

The research was conducted at Transmart Karawang. In the current era of globalization, demand from consumers is increasing so as to provide profitable potential for the business world. A survey was conducted on the customer value index of 10 stores in Indonesia, one of the retail companies that is experiencing these problems is Transmart which occupies the fourth position. Reporting from kompas.com, it is said that at least 12 Transmart outlets will be permanently closed throughout 2022. The problem of declining sales levels at Transmart Karawang, as evidenced by the decreasing number of customers visiting the store, is the main subject of this study. This phenomenon is believed to arise due to consumer skepticism about their purchasing choices, which are influenced by product completeness and sales promotions. The purpose of this observation is to understand how product completeness and sales promotion affect consumer purchasing decisions at Transmart Karawang. The applied data sources include main data and supporting data, while the applied data collection techniques include questionnaires, face-to-face interactions, observations, and literature studies. A research sample of 99 respondents was selected from a population of 8422 using the Slovin formula. This research utilizes multiple linear regression analysis methodology using SPSS version 27.0 software to evaluate the effect of product completeness and sales promotion on purchasing decisions at Transmart Karawang. The research findings show that 82.9% of consumers in Transmart Karawang are influenced in their purchasing choices by the presence of product completeness and purchase promotions. A total of 17.1% of the evaluation was influenced by unresolved issues in this study.

Abstract

The development of technology and social media has accelerated rapidly, it is not wrong if this condition is an opportunity for business actors to use it as a marketing medium for their business products to reach more consumers. Sweet Ice Tempuran is an MSME in the culinary sector that implements social media platforms as an effort to attract and reach more consumers. This study intends to analyze the influence of social media marketing and sales promotion on purchasing interest. This study involved 96 consumers from MSME Sweet Ice. The data collection technique used was through the use of a questionnaire; and data analysis was carried out by applying hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25.0. The results of this study show that partially, the variables social media marketing (X1) and sales promotion (X2) have a positive and significant influence on purchase interest (Y). And simultaneously the variables social media marketing (X1) and sales promotion (X2) have a significant effect on purchase interest (Y) by 52.6%, while other results are influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of production costs and cost of goods sold on profits generated by MSMEs in Cilok Wonogiri. The elements that form production costs are production costs, including: raw material costs, direct and indirect labor costs, general production costs and inventory of goods in process, including: inventory of goods in process and inventory of goods. ongoing. Meanwhile, the cost of goods sold factor includes total production costs and finished product inventory (initial finished product inventory and final finished product inventory). These factors will influence the selling price of the product. Primary and secondary data are the types of data used in research. Primary data was taken from direct observation of subjects to obtain accurate data along with the results of company interviews. Secondary data was collected through company records regarding data relating to production costs and cost of goods sold which will affect the profits obtained from sales of Wonogiri cilok. Researchers examine production costs using company calculations and production cost data for 2022. The analysis technique used by the author is a quantitative descriptive analysis method. Quantitative descriptive analysis is used to explain the calculation of production costs according to the full cost method, then this information is used as a basis for determining product selling prices to determine MSME profits.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023 using Profitability and Liquidity financial ratio analysis. The type of research used is Descriptive Quantitative data used in the form of numbers or qualitative data arranged in the form of numbers. Data and Information are obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Based on the Liquidity ratio, it has increased every year so that the company is categorized as being in good condition, while based on Profitability, it shows a decline so that it can be said that the company is in poor condition

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of human resource competence in improving employee performance at UMKM Steak Rawiet Karawang. Human resource competence in this study includes knowledge, skills, and abilities, while employee performance is measured through indicators of work quantity, efficiency, initiative, and quality of work outcomes. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques consisting of observation and in-depth interviews conducted with the owner, managers, and employees of UMKM Steak Rawiet. The results indicate that employee competence has not yet been optimal, particularly in terms of understanding work procedures, technical skills, and the ability to work independently. These conditions have a direct impact on employee performance, which is reflected in low work initiative, reduced efficiency, and difficulties in completing tasks on time and consistently. Although performance evaluations have been conducted, the absence of structured and continuous training programs has hindered efforts to improve employee competence and performance. Therefore, strengthening human resource competence through systematic training, mentoring, and more effective human resource management is essential to enhance employee performance and support the sustainable competitiveness of UMKM Steak Rawiet Karawang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya hidup, pendapatan, dan perencanaan keuangan terhadap perilaku penggunaan paylater pada masyarakat di Kabupaten Karawang, Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain asosiatif kausal, Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 96 responden pengguna paylater dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup, pendapatan, dan perencanaan keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku penggunaan paylater baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Selain itu, perencanaan keuangan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan serta menjadi variabel yang paling dominan dalam memengaruhi perilaku penggunaan paylater.simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan paylater tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh kecenderungan gaya hidup, tetapi juga oleh kondisi ekonomi serta kemampuan individu dalam merencanakan dan mengelola keuangan secara rasional, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan literasi keuangan dan mendorong penggunaan kredit digital yang lebih bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

This study discusses the influence of trust, platform ease of use, and business accountability on public interest in the Kitabisa.com fintech crowdfunding platform in Karawang. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, this study involved 112 participants, analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the aid of SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that all three variables trust, ease of use, and accountability have a significant impact on user interest. Among these variables, accountability proved to be the most dominant factor in influencing user interest. The model used in this study explained 53.0% of the variation in user interest, reflected in the R-square value of 0.530. These findings emphasize that transparency, trust, and ease of service are key components in encouraging public participation and use of the fintech crowdfunding platform. Therefore, to increase user interest, it is essential for platform providers to focus on improving accountability and ease of access, as well as building trust with users through better transparency in platform management and oversight.
