Abstract

The need for fresh water fish consumption for the community is increasing, therefore the freshwater fishery business has very good business prospects to be developed in the form of both fresh and processed fish. A fish farming business must have implemented a planning function even though it is still simple, both in terms of technical preparation, equipment, labor, costs, implementation time and so on, even though it is not made in a structured manner. This service aims to improve the economy of the Tanjung Kasau Plantation Village through increasing the skills and knowledge of the community.

Abstract

Low technological literacy and an ecosystem for developing innovation and creation that is not built at the village level are one of the reasons why the village is not developing. The use of information technology can be a medium that connects the community and village government. The village government can utilize information technology to deliver services related to governance and village development as well as fostering and developing community empowerment. This service will focus on increasing digital literacy to support communities that are resilient in digitizing MSME activities.

Abstract

Disaster mitigation is generally implemented to reduce losses caused by potential disasters, including both loss of life and property damage, which can significantly impact human activities and livelihoods. In Sukaraja Village, the community’s understanding of disaster response is limited to basic actions such as evacuating to higher and safer ground during floods. However, the community often faces challenges in evacuating vulnerable groups, such as women, the elderly, and children, due to the densely populated area and limited evacuation space. This service program aimed to address these challenges by conducting a comprehensive training on disaster mitigation, focusing on evacuation and first aid for flood victims by the members of the Disaster-Resilient Village Forum (Keltana). The method employed in this community service program included structured training sessions and simulations, comprising: (1) educational sessions on knowledge, attitudes, and actions required during flood emergencies, (2) hands-on training on evacuation procedures and first aid techniques for disaster mitigation, and (3) Communication, Information, and Education (CIE) activities on emergency response strategies targeted at Keltana members. The results showed a significant improvement in the participants’ understanding and skills. The training increased the knowledge level of Keltana members on flood evacuation and first aid from 55% to 93%. Additionally, the program enhanced their practical skills in evacuating flood victims and administering first aid for injuries, including fractures and bleeding. In conclusion, the disaster mitigation training program successfully strengthened the community’s capacity in flood response, contributing to improved resilience and preparedness in Sukaraja Village. The approach and outcomes of this program can serve as a model for similar high-risk areas to enhance community-based disaster mitigation efforts.

Abstract

Fuzzy Linear Programming is a model that is often used to solve problems related to optimization problems. This research will discuss efforts to optimize the production of Es cendol dawet and Es doger drinks on PakDe's cart in order to obtain maximum profits with minimum expenditure, without reducing the quality of the goods produced. One method used to obtain maximum benefits is to model goals and constraints using linear programming. Solving fuzzy linear programming is assisted using the QM for Windows application. Calculation results using fuzzy linear programming, maximum income will be obtained if 45 servings of Es Cendol Dawet are produced and 45 servings of Es Doger are produced, so the profit obtained is IDR 450,000. The increase in profits is IDR 50,000 more than ordinary linear programming.

Abstract

Information provision and postpartum care that is less than optimal is a problem that is often overlooked. The number of respondents based on the calculation of the sample size was 150 people, while the number of samples in this study were 134 postpartum mothers. The sample selection was carried out according to the probability sampling technique. Postpartum mothers were surveyed using a questionnaire about the history of childbirth trauma, the knowledge of postpartum mothers about self-care during the postpartum period, and the level of self-efficacy of postpartum mothers. The results of the study showed several factors that could affect the mother's self-efficacy in postpartum recovery, namely age (26.14 (4.96); p = 0.00), traumatic experience during childbirth (1.86 (0.34); p = 0.000), and mother's occupation (1.597 (0.49); p = 0.02), and knowledge (4.38 (1.68); p = 0.000). Nurses need to provide prenatal health education to increase women's beliefs about their behavior during labor and postpartum recovery.
