Abstract

Kajian ini mempresentasikan hubungan antara bebanan mekanis material Stainless Steel (SS) AISI 304 dengan kelakuan polarisasi. Lingkungan air laut buatan berupa 3.5% NaCl diasumsikan sebagai lingkungan korosif. Beban mekanis yang diaplikasikan adalah tegangan elastis pada spesimen C-Ring yang telah dipersiapkan. Hubungan antara nilai tegangan yang terjadi dan perilaku polarisasi direpresentasikan dalam kurva polarisasi dan laju korosi yang terjadi pada saat pengukuran. Korosi sumuran yang terjadi akibat adanya tegangan yang diberikan terhadap spesimen turut diperhatikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laju korosi dipengaruhi oleh tingkat tegangan yang diterima oleh material SS AISI-304. Semakin tinggi tegangan yang diterima, maka semakin laju polarisasi yang terjadi pada kawasan yang di ekspos. Sehingga berimpak pada tingginya jumlah korosi sumuran pada area kajian. Didapati beban mekanis memberikan pengaruh yang konsisten terhadap kemunculan korosi tegang retak (SCC) dengan nilai laju korosi maksimum 4.662 mm/yr pada beban 868.380 N dibandingkan 3.975 mm/yr ketika spesimen tidak mendapat bebanan mekanis. Namun melalui kecenderungan grafik yaitu -0.0005 mm/yrN menunjukkan beban mekanis tidak secara signifikan dalam mempengaruhi laju korosi secara mutlak.

Abstract

In an electric power system, electricity is generated by the power plant and then channeled to a transmission line and then distributed to consumers, in the process of distributing electrical energy, the system does not always work in normal conditions, sometimes the system can experience disturbances such as one-phase, two-phase, and three-phase disturbances. This interference can disrupt the electrical system and can damage equipment if left unchecked, therefore it is necessary to install a protection device that can decide the interference so as not to damage other equipment when a disturbance occurs. Here the protection device used is a circuit breaker. In a fault condition, the circuit breaker must be able to separate the points of the fault so as not to damage other electrical equipment. In this case, to determine the capacity of the best protection device for the system, a short circuit fault simulation is performed. To simplify the calculation process here the author uses the help of ETAP software (Electrical Transient Analysis Program).

Abstract

Lately, the term halal or sharia has become a trend in Indonesia caused that the term is identical to Islam and most Indonesian citizens are Muslim. Besides being a weapon to sell commodities on the market, halal labels are also used to promote tourism resorts. Indonesian Council of Religious Scholars (MUI) issues fatwa to regulate halal tourism and has the authority to issue halal tourism certificates. This study addresses academic anxiety, whether tourism that has received a halal certificate following the MUI fatwa is natural halal tourism or it is only a formality of marketing bias. This article uses the field study method that results from direct observation and literature study to ascertain the meaning of halal. The study results showed that no tourism in Indonesia deserves a halal label even though it has obtained a halal certificate from the MUI. It is observed that in many tourism locations, disobedience and neglect occur. The term halalis a tourist object limited to marketing bias and is not confirmed in the field.

Abstract

Perkembangan pengetahuan dalam bidang komposit semakin pesat seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan permintaan dari sektor industri. Hal ini terlihat dari banyaknya penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mengembangkan bahan komposit baru dengan sifat yang lebih unggul. Pencetakan komposit dilakukan dengan mencampurkan serat kulit rotan 20% : 80% resin epoksi, serat 30% : 70% resin, epoksi dan serat 40% : 60% resin epoksi dengan perendaman alkali NaOH 5% selama 2 jam. Pembuatan komposit dilakukan dengan metode Hand-Lay Up. Sifat mekanik pengujian kekuatan tarik berdasarkan standar (ASTM D-3039) dan foto makro. Hasil penelitian dari variasi persentase tersebut yang memiliki kekuatan tarik tertinggi pada serat kulit rotan 40% : resin epoxy 60% dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 51,65 Mpa, kekuatan luluh 3,02 Mpa, dan Elongation yaitu 4,25%.  sedangkan nilai kekuatan tarik terendah terdapat pada serat kulit rotan 20% : resin epoxy 80%, dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 27,44 Mpa, kekuatn luluh 2,12 Mpa, dan elongation 6,25%. Untuk hasil pengamatan patahan foto makro jenis patahan yang terlihat ialah patah getas. Dari hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa komposit dengan variasi serat kulit rotan 40% : resin epoxy 60%  layak digunakan sebagai material tensile alternatif.

Abstract

Currently the government is working to achieve a Golden Indonesia 2045 and Indonesia Net Zero Emissions (NZE) 2060. In an effort to reduce carbon emissions, one of the government's efforts is to use electric vehicles in the transportation sector and create an Energy Saving Car (KMHE) competition organized by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). This research was conducted to determine the aerodynamic values and their influence on variations in the frontal area and leading edge of the Pase Team Electric car body at Malikussaleh University. This simulation analysis was carried out using the computational fluid dynamic (CFD) method using Ansys Fluent software as a simulation tool. With variations in air flow speed of 2.7 m/s, 5.5 m/s, 8.3 m/s and 11.1 m/s, the aerodynamic values and influences on each body variation are obtained. For the drag coefficient on a body with a frontal area A=0.48m2, the average value obtained from the three leading edge angles 36áµ’, 15áµ’ and 0áµ’ is 0.151. Then for the lift coefficient, an average value of -0.255 is obtained, which means the body produces a relatively low CD but produces large downforce. For the drag coefficient on a body with a frontal area A=0.39m2, the average value obtained from the three leading edge angles 36áµ’, 15áµ’ and 0áµ’ is 0.134. Then for the lift coefficient, the average value was -0.138. So it can be concluded that by reducing the frontal area on the body and the leading edge angle, the Cd value can be reduced by 11.34% and CL by -46%.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu dalam bidang material mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat, manusia telah melakukan beberapa inovasi dalam penggunaan teknik material komposit serat alam untuk mendapatkan material yang memiliki kualitas lebih baik, Komposit serat alam merupakan perkembangan ilmu material yang saat ini mulai banyak dikembangkan karena memiliki sifat yang kuat, ringan, murah dan ramah lingkungan. Adapun jenis serat yang digunakan adalah serat daun lidah mertua (sanseviera trifasciata) yang digunakan sebagai penguat dan jenis resin yang digunakan adalah Resin Polyester Yucalac 157 BQTN. Kekuatan komposit serat alam dapat dipengaruhi oleh orientasi arah serat. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan orientasi arah serat 0°, 45°, 90°. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh orientasi arah serat terhadap ketangguhan impact  dari material serat alam. Pembuatan komposit menggunakan metode hand lay up. Dari hasil pengujian impact yang dilakukan, penguat serat dengan orientasi 45° memiliki nilai kekuatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan orientasi arah serat 0°, dan 90°. Terdapat nilai ketangguhan impact terbesar pada orientasi arah serat 45° berpenguat serat daun lidah mertua sebesar 0,187049  joule/mm2, orientasi arah serat 0° sebesar 0,17756 joule/mm2, dan nilai ketangguhan impact terendah pada orientasi arah serat 90° sebesar 0,075035  joule/mm2.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to determine the effect of the matrix-to-filler ratio on the characteristic value of composites made from pineapple leaf fiber and coco fiber using clear polyester resin 108 as a matrix. The composite printing process involves combining 70% resin and 5% pineapple fiber: 15% pineapple fiber, 25% coconut fiber: 15% coconut fiber, 25% pineapple fiber, and 5% coconut fiber with 1% catalyst. The Hand-Lay Up method is used to create composites. Tensile strength testing mechanical properties are based on standards (ASTM D-3039). The tensile strength of 25% pineapple leaf fiber is the highest in this percentage variation: 5% coconut fiber with an average value of 44.88 MPa, 3.37% tensile strain, while pineapple leaf fiber 5% has the lowest tensile strength value: 25% coconut fiber with a 25.26 MPa average and a 2.54% tensile strain. According to the findings, the composite of 25% pineapple leaf fiber: 5% coconut fiber immersed in NaOH is suitable for use as an alternative tensile material.

Abstract

Classification of hearing loss is necessary because it provides treatment or learning methods for students which are certainly not the same. This classification is displayed in a graphical form because graphics are able to provide information quickly. The results of this writing are information in the form of visualization of the residual hearing which is grouped according to the decibels or residual hearing they have. Patterns that will be applied in learning will later be adjusted based on classification, so that students can comfortably follow the learning process. When creating this visualization, use Google Data Studio because it can be used to represent complex data sets in an interesting and clear way. The data used are data on deaf students for 2014-2021, with a total of 357 data and 14 attributes. The results of data processing are in the form of graphs of students for each generation, distribution of student demographics, and classification of student hearing measurement results. From the visualization results, 3 categories were obtained, with the results being 9 light categories,, 129 medium categories and 219 heavy categories. The mild category will receive oral treatment, while the moderate and severe categories will be given sign language and written treatment

Abstract

The presence of pharmaceuticals and dyes in the environment poses significant threats to human health and ecosystems. This study develops a novel Polyaniline/Titanium Dioxide (PAni/TiO₂) nanocomposite photocatalyst for the efficient photodegradation of tetracycline and methylene blue. Characterization techniques, including FTIR, FESEM, EDX, DRS, and TGA, confirmed the successful formation of the nanocomposite. Under UV and visible light irradiation, The optimal condition for maximum tetracycline and methylene blue degradation efficiency was obtained to be 92% and 95%, respectively, with 100 mg  of PAni/TiO2 nanocomposite, 100 ml  of Tetracycline, and pH 7.0 after 120 min of exposure to UV and visible light. Optimum reaction conditions, including catalyst concentration, initial dye concentration, and reaction time, were investigated. This research demonstrates the potential of PAni/TiO₂ nanocomposite as a promising photocatalyst for the degradation of organic pollutants
