Abstract

Antioxidants are compounds that have the ability to againts the harmful effects of free radicals. Antioxidant activity was influenced by active compounds, growing environment, cultivation systems, techniques and handling of raw materials. Hydroponics is a plant cultivation system that does not use soil as media. Differences in hydroponic and conventional systems in soil use can affect antioxidant activity. This study aims to conduct a qualitative test of antioxidants through phytochemical screening and analysis of thin layer chromatography (TLC) and to test the antioxidant activity of hydroponic and conventional red spinach leaf extract. Red spinach leaves were extracted by maceration method for 3 days with stirring every 1x24 hours. The red spinach leaf extract was then organoleptically tested for color, shape, and odor. Phytochemical screening was carried out to determine the content of flavonoids and saponins using color and foam reactions. The screening results were confirmed by thin layer chromatography (TLC) analysis with hexane:ethyl acetate as the mobile phase in a ratio of 5:5. Antioxidant activity test with DPPH Method. The results of the calculation of the yield on hydroponic red spinach leaf extract was 11.5% and conventional was 15.1%. The results of phytochemical screening and TLC analysis showed that both hydroponic and conventional red spinach leaf extracts were positive for flavonoid and saponin compounds. The IC50 value of hydroponic red spinach leaf extract was 142.31 while conventional was 73.73 ppm. The antioxidant activity of hydroponic red spinach leaf extract was in the medium category and conventional in the strong category.

Abstract

Luas Nusa Pharmacy faces challenges in managing drug inventory due to unpredictable demand fluctuations, often leading to overstocking or shortages. This situation affects operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Therefore, a forecasting method is needed to help predict stock requirements more accurately. Forecasting is the process of estimating future needs based on historical data analysis, aimed at supporting decision-making in inventory management. This study employs the Single Moving Average (SMA) method to forecast drug stock at Luas Nusa Pharmacy. Weekly data from 10 best-selling drugs, namely Sanmol Tab, Andalan Biru, Promag Tab, Pirocam, Voltadex, Wiros, Tolak Angin, Stanza, Kalmethasone, and Antangin, were used as the basis for calculations over the past year. The study tested three forecasting periods: 3, 4, and 6 weeks. The results indicate that the 4-week period provides the most accurate prediction with the lowest error values: MAD of 34.80986, MSE of 1797.98, and MAPE of 13.80044, achieving an accuracy rate of 86.20%. The predicted drug stock for the following week, based on the 4-week period, is 224 units. With its high accuracy, the 4-week SMA method is recommended as an effective approach to help Luas Nusa Pharmacy manage drug inventory more efficiently. The implementation of this method is expected to minimize the risk of overstocking or shortages, improve operational efficiency, and ensure optimal service to the community.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi di Indonesia terutama pada bidang otomotif semakin pesat. Hal ini juga berpengaruh pada meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan yang diproduksi di Indonesia, salah satunya sepeda motor. Sebanyak 5.237.976 unit sepeda motor terjual di Indonesia pada tahun 2023, yang mengalami peningkatan sebesar 26% dari tahun sebelumnya. Sebagai kendaraan yang paling banyak digunakan pada arus lalu lintas di Indonesia, sepeda motor mengeluarkan CO (karbon monoksida) dan HC (hidrokarbon) lebih besar dibanding dengan kendaraan yang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan campuran bioetanol dan bahan bakar dalam menurunkan emisi gas buang sepeda motor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian kali ini adalah metode eksperimen, dimana bahan bakar pertamax dicampur dengan bioetanol yang mempunyai kadar 90% (bioetanol yang digunakan terbuat dari tuak Tuban yang didestilasi sebanyak tiga kali, sehingga menghasilkan kadar etanol sebesar 90%). Pengujian menggunakan campuran bioetanol sebesar 10%, 20% dan 30% dengan menggunakan putaran mesin idle. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut, didapatkan hasil kadar CO sebesar 2,06% pada campuran BE 20 mengalami penurunan yang awalnya sebesar 3,32%. Kadar HC yang sebelumnya 237 ppm menurun menjadi 158 ppm dengan campuran BE 20, sedangkan kadar CO2 naik dari yang awalnya 5,1 % menjadi 7,0%, dan kadar O2 juga mengalami kenaikan pada campuran BE 20 dari 15,20% naik menjadi 19,73%. Pencampuran bioetanol memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap emisi gas buang pada sepeda motor, dan campuran yang menghasilkan emisi terbaik adalah BE20.

Abstract

Desa Kedungrejo merupakan desa yang terletak di Kec. Sumberrejo Kab. Bojonegoro. Desa Kedungrejo kaya akan pohon pisang yang limbah pohonnya dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat setempat untuk dijual sebagai bahan baku tali dan kerajinan. Pohon pisang yang sudah berbuah biasanya ditebang dan tidak bisa menghasilkan apa-apa, padahal batang pisang masih bisa dimanfaatkan untuk menghasilkan produk-produk yang memiliki nilai ekonomis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis potensi yang dimiliki Desa Kedungrejo, maka kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat kali ini adalah memberikan pelatihan pembuatan tali dan kerajianan tangan dari pohon pisang. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah kelompok pemuda-pemudi karang taruna dan ibu-ibu PKK. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pelaporan. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan beberapa produk kerajinan dari limbah pohon pisang diantaranya adalah tas, peci, wadah tisu, vas bunga, topi, kotak makan, dan dompet.

Abstract

Desa Talang adalah sebuah desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Rejoso, Kabupaten Nganjuk, Jawa Timur. Mayoritas penduduk Desa Talang memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai seorang petani. Banyak petani yang mengalami kerugian akibat gagal panen. Kondisi ini menyebabkan penghasilan rendah, kesejahteraan masyarakat berkurang, dan masyarakat menjadi pengangguran musiman. Berdasarkan modal komoditas pisang yang ada di Desa Talang, dilaksanakan pelatihan pembuatan kerajinan dari pelepah pisang. Pelepah pisang dapat diolah menjadi berbagai bahan jadi yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi seperti tali, tas, kopyah, asbak, pot, tempat pensil, dan lainnya. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Dalam pelatihan ini, dikhususkan pada produk tas sebagai contoh produk yang dapat dihasilkan dari pelepah pisang kering. Selain itu, tas juga merupakan produk yang memiliki nilai guna dan nilai ekonomis tinggi jika nantinya dapat dikembangan oleh masyarakat Desa Talang sebagai produk UMKM unggulan desa. Metode yang dipakai dalam pendampingan pelatihan pelepah pisang adalah PAR (Participatory Action Research). Pelatihan diikuti oleh 20 orang ibu-ibu PKK Desa Talang, serta melibatkan kepala desa dan perangkat desa setempat. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dua hari berturut-turut. Para peserta sangat antusias mengikuti setiap tahap demi tahap dalam proses pembuatan kerajinan. Hingga akhirnya, semua kelompok peserta dapat membuat kerajinan ini dengan baik.

Abstract

Mathematics test preparation by teachers is often conducted manually, resulting in inefficiency and inconsistent question quality. This community service program aimed to empower Mathematics MGMP teachers in Bojonegoro through training on the use of Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT) and LaTeX in developing Academic Ability Test (AAT) items. The program was implemented through socialization, hands-on practice, dissemination, and evaluation using the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA/PAR) approach. The novelty of this activity lies in integrating ChatGPT, an AI-based question generator, with LaTeX, a professional formatting tool, both embedded within a participatory teacher-training model. The implementation significantly improved teachers’ competence in creating varied, structured, and well-formatted test items while strengthening collaborative work within MGMP. Moreover, teachers demonstrated increased efficiency and confidence in applying AI-based tools for mathematics assessment design. The program proved effective and replicable as a sustainable model for advancing digital competence and innovative assessment practices among mathematics educators.

Abstract

Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (KDMP) merupakan program pemerintah yang bertujuan memperkuat ekonomi desa melalui prinsip gotong royong dan pemanfaatan potensi lokal secara mandiri. Di Desa Sranak, yang menjadi desa binaan Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri (UNUGIRI) sejak 2024, implementasi KDMP dilakukan bersama pelaku UMKM rumah produksi tahu. Tantangan utama meliputi manajemen koperasi yang belum terdigitalisasi, proses produksi yang belum efisien, dan strategi pemasaran yang masih konvensional. Melalui program Pemberdayaan Wilayah Desa Binaan, dilakukan intervensi berbasis riset terapan dengan solusi mencakup penerapan sistem pembukuan digital, pengembangan aplikasi SIMKODES, penyusunan template keuangan usaha, pendampingan legalitas usaha (NIB dan sertifikasi halal), serta promosi digital melalui media sosial. Program dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu penguatan kapasitas dasar, ekspansi pasar dan peningkatan kualitas, serta hilirisasi dan perlindungan HKI. Pada tahun pertama, kegiatan menghasilkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kapasitas mitra melalui digitalisasi tata kelola koperasi, pengembangan dua produk inovatif berbasis tahu (tahu susu dan dimsum tahu), serta penerapan legalitas usaha. KDMP kini memiliki struktur organisasi aktif, laporan keuangan digital, dan kanal pemasaran daring yang berjalan baik. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi dan pendampingan berkelanjutan dapat menciptakan model pemberdayaan ekonomi desa yang produktif, transparan, dan replikatif di wilayah pedesaan.

Abstract

The use of electric sprayers for pesticide application in Jipang Village, Blora, faces challenges due to battery dependency, often leading to inefficiencies when batteries deplete mid-operation. This study evaluates the performance of a hybrid sprayer integrated with a 10W monocrystalline solar panel and a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) charge controller to optimize field battery charging. Experimental methods included measuring solar irradiance (using a lux meter), voltage, current, and system efficiency across three days (21 May, 29 May, and 1 June 2025) at hourly intervals (08:00–16:00 WIB). Results indicate peak efficiency (15–18%) during morning hours (08:00–10:00 WIB) under high irradiance (900–1045 W/m²), while afternoon efficiency dropped to 7–13% due to declining sunlight intensity and suboptimal solar angles. The highest power loss (60–71W) occurred at 09:00–10:00 WIB, attributed to energy conversion limitations. The study concludes that solar-hybrid sprayers are viable for agricultural use, provided battery charging is prioritized in the morning. This solution enhances operational efficiency while reducing carbon emissions and fossil fuel reliance.

Abstract

The ability to anticipate unsubscribed customers is a challenge in the competitive banking industry, where it is more efficient to retain customers than to attract new ones. The purpose of this study is to improve the effectiveness of churn prediction by overcoming data imbalances using SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique) and Random Over-sampling. The data set used consists of 10. 000 bank customer data, with 12 important attributes, including churn indicators as targets. The machine learning algorithms used are Random Forest and Neive Bayes, evaluated based on accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 scores. The results of the experiment showed that the highest accuracy of 87.13% could be achieved with the Random Forest algorithm without using the oversampling method, but its effectiveness in detecting churn customers was slightly limited. The use of SMOTE and Random Over-sampling methods has improved the model's performance in identifying churn patterns, although it has led to a decrease in accuracy to 86.20% for Random Over-sampling and 81.47% for SMOTE. Nevertheless, the Neive Bayes algorithm showed the best accuracy rate of 79.20% without oversampling, although it was still slightly lacking in optimal churn handling. The study underscores the importance of using oversampling methods to improve prediction balance in minority classes, which is often overlooked in conventional models. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as a guide in improving strategies to maintain customer trust that are more up-to-date and efficient.

Abstract

The increasing use of digital wallets in Indonesia has led to a growing number of user opinions expressed, including on the DANA platform in the Play Store. These reviews reflect users' experiences and satisfaction levels, necessitating sentiment analysis to comprehend public opinions about the application’s service quality. The study conducts an analytical comparison between Random Forest and Logistic Regression methods in classification sentiments for DANA application. Data was obtained through scraping techniques, resulting in 2,068 reviews after the cleaning process. The analysis stages include text preprocessing, labeling based on review scores, weighting using TF-IDF, and modeling with both algorithms. The evaluation results demonstrate that Random Forest obtains an accuracy of 86.23%, while Logistic Regression obtains an accuracy of 84.54%. Both models are capable of classifying positive sentiments well but are less optimal in detecting negative sentiments. Random Forest shows higher performance compared to Logistic Regression within the task in sentiment analysis for DANA app reviews. Thus, we can conclude that using the random forest algorithm is able to produce accurate sentiment analysis and can act as a basis for making decisions in further research
