Abstract

Red spinach is a plant that known as natural antioxidants that contain anthocyanins, flavonoids, betalains, polyphenols and carotenoids and can be developed into sheet mask essence. The antioxidant activity of red spinach affected by the cultivation method. This study aims to determine the physical properties and antioxidant activity of conventional and hydroponic essences with red spinach leaf extract. The making of essence sheet mask starts from making red spinach leaf extract by maceration method using 96% ethanol as solvent for 3x24 hours, then the extract is added to the formulation. Physic evaluations were organoleptic tests including assessing shape, aroma and color by panelists, homogeneity that their data analyzed by descriptively, pH and viscosity analyzed by t-test. Test of antioxidant activity of spinach leaf extract using the DPPH method that analyzed by t-test. Conventional and hydroponic red spinach leaf extracts have a thick green color, thick form and a characteristic spinach odor, while essence sheet masks have a light green color, viscous liquid form and a distinctive fragrance, a safe pH value for facial skin, which is around 5.18 ± 0. 29 to 5.64±0.12, homogeneous and viscosity values ranged from 162.92±21.95 to 187.58±17.54 cps. Based on the results of t-test the pH and viscosity values of all formulations were not significantly different. The antioxidant activity of conventional and hydroponic red spinach leaf extract was in the strong category and not significant difference based on the t-test. The essence sheet mask has good physical properties and the IC50 value of conventional red spinach leaf extract is 52.53 and hydroponic red spinach leaf extract is 73.93.

Abstract

Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kulit buah salak memiliki kandungan antioksidan, sehingga dapat dikembangkan menjadi produk yang memiliki manfaat bagi kesehatan dan ekonomi. Salak Wedi sebagai salah satu buah Khas daerah Bojonegoro banyak dikonsumsi sehingga kulit buah salak dapat dengan mudah ditemui dan dikembangkan menjadi produk olahan seperti teh kulit salak. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan produksi produk wirausaha berupa teh kulit salak dan analisa usaha kepada ibu rumah tangga di Desa Sumbang Timun. Sasaran adalah ibu rumah tangga berjumlah 25 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pengetahuan sasaran tentang pembuatan teh kulit salak dan analisa usaha dalam kategori baik sebesar 92% dan 88% serta keterampilan sasaran dalam produksi teh kulit salak dalam kategori baik sebesar 100%. Nilai B/C ratio usaha teh kulit salak sebesar 3,38. Teh kulit salak memiliki potensi yang tinggi sebagai produk wirausaha.

Abstract

Making Activator Materials Active Carbon From Wedi  Skin Salak (Salacca edulis Reinw) With  ZnCl2 Activator as Adsorbent to Reduce Fenol Content.  Wedi salak skin in Bojonegoro as an activated carbon material can provide an alternative for activated carbon manufacturing materials by utilizing environmentally friendly natural materials. The wedi salak skin is modified by treatment in the sun, in the roast, and in the oven in the manufacture of activated carbon which is then activated with ZnCl2 and then tested the adsorbs power of this salak skin activated carbon against phenol reduction. The adsorbent material that reduces the concentration of phenol the most is the roasted adsorbent material with a final phenol concentration of 2.15 mg/L so that the concentration of phenol absorbed is 297.85 mg/L at a mass of 1.5 g. The results of the analysis show that each variation of the activated carbon variation can reduce the concentration of phenol. The results obtained from this study are the type of activated carbon material whose highest absorption efficiency is the type of activated carbon material roasted at 99.28% with a mass of activated carbon of 1.5 g. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that each variation of the type of activated carbon material will experience a decrease in concentration as the mass of the adsorbent increases. The greater the mass of the adsorbent, the adsorption ability will also increase. Each type of activated carbon material also experienced an increase in percent removal along with an increase in adsorbent mass. The results of research on the effect of activated carbon mass, also show that the adsorption capacity value decreases with increasing adsorbent mass. In this research data, the largest capacitance value was 112.87 mg/g at the smallest mass of 0.5g. The decrease in adsorption capacity is caused by the active side of the adsorbent that has not all bonded with the adsorbate.

Abstract

Website telah menjadi salah satu sarana utama untuk memperkenalkan dan mempromosikan sebuah institusi, termasuk sekolah. Website dianggap sebagai alat penting untuk memperkuat branding madrasah, memberikan sarana komunikasi yang murah, mudah diakses, interaktif, dan fleksibel, terutama di era digital saat ini yang memungkinkan akses melalui gadget. Pengelolaan konten yang konsisten dan berkelanjutan dianggap krusial untuk menjaga relevansi dan daya tarik website, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan citra dan efektivitas komunikasi SMA Islam Temayang melalui optimalisasi website sekolah. Melalui kegiatan PkM ini, tim UNUGIRI bekerja sama dengan SMA Islam Temayang dalam pelatihan dan pendampingan offline untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis konten website. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), yang bertujuan untuk menggali potensi dan sumber daya SMA Islam Temayang guna mendukung kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan website yang efektif dalam memperkuat branding sekolah dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Diharapkan bahwa upaya ini tidak hanya mendukung internal sekolah tetapi juga memberi dampak positif bagi komunitas sekitar serta menciptakan referensi yang dapat diandalkan bagi calon siswa dalam memilih pendidikan tinggi. Dengan meningkatkan kemampuan menulis konten website, sekolah dapat secara aktif menginformasikan kegiatan-kegiatan pendidikan, prestasi siswa, dan berbagai informasi penting lainnya kepada masyarakat luas. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini bukan hanya tentang meningkatkan skill individu, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pengembangan komunitas sekolah yang lebih terhubung dan terinformasi.

Abstract

An activated carbon is a potential material that can be used as electrodes in super capacitors. It has a higher energy density than batteries and fuel cells, and a higher power density than conventional capacitors. This study was carried out by using activated carbon from the bark of salak wedi with various graded activators such as ZnCl2 and KOH. The physical characteristics of the activated carbon from the bark of salak wedi were analyzed using a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to see its powder morphology. While, X-ray diffraction (XRD) is  used to examine the structure of the bark of activated carbon that  that has the potential to make electrodes of super capacitors . The results of SEM with graded activation had fewer pores, were not evenly distributed and tended to agglomerate compared to the activated carbon sample of salak bark which was activated once

Abstract

Antioxidants are compounds that have the ability to againts the harmful effects of free radicals. Antioxidant activity was influenced by active compounds, growing environment, cultivation systems, techniques and handling of raw materials. Hydroponics is a plant cultivation system that does not use soil as media. Differences in hydroponic and conventional systems in soil use can affect antioxidant activity. This study aims to conduct a qualitative test of antioxidants through phytochemical screening and analysis of thin layer chromatography (TLC) and to test the antioxidant activity of hydroponic and conventional red spinach leaf extract. Red spinach leaves were extracted by maceration method for 3 days with stirring every 1x24 hours. The red spinach leaf extract was then organoleptically tested for color, shape, and odor. Phytochemical screening was carried out to determine the content of flavonoids and saponins using color and foam reactions. The screening results were confirmed by thin layer chromatography (TLC) analysis with hexane:ethyl acetate as the mobile phase in a ratio of 5:5. Antioxidant activity test with DPPH Method. The results of the calculation of the yield on hydroponic red spinach leaf extract was 11.5% and conventional was 15.1%. The results of phytochemical screening and TLC analysis showed that both hydroponic and conventional red spinach leaf extracts were positive for flavonoid and saponin compounds. The IC50 value of hydroponic red spinach leaf extract was 142.31 while conventional was 73.73 ppm. The antioxidant activity of hydroponic red spinach leaf extract was in the medium category and conventional in the strong category.

Abstract

The ability to anticipate unsubscribed customers is a challenge in the competitive banking industry, where it is more efficient to retain customers than to attract new ones. The purpose of this study is to improve the effectiveness of churn prediction by overcoming data imbalances using SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique) and Random Over-sampling. The data set used consists of 10. 000 bank customer data, with 12 important attributes, including churn indicators as targets. The machine learning algorithms used are Random Forest and Neive Bayes, evaluated based on accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 scores. The results of the experiment showed that the highest accuracy of 87.13% could be achieved with the Random Forest algorithm without using the oversampling method, but its effectiveness in detecting churn customers was slightly limited. The use of SMOTE and Random Over-sampling methods has improved the model's performance in identifying churn patterns, although it has led to a decrease in accuracy to 86.20% for Random Over-sampling and 81.47% for SMOTE. Nevertheless, the Neive Bayes algorithm showed the best accuracy rate of 79.20% without oversampling, although it was still slightly lacking in optimal churn handling. The study underscores the importance of using oversampling methods to improve prediction balance in minority classes, which is often overlooked in conventional models. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as a guide in improving strategies to maintain customer trust that are more up-to-date and efficient.

Abstract

The use of electrical energy is currently less effective because many electronic equipment consumes electricity excessively. Almost all electronic devices use electricity to work. However, the situation that generally occurs is when someone uses electrical energy, it is often found that electrical energy used to turn on electronic devices is wasted due to the negligence of users who forget to turn off the device and still turn on even though it is not used. To achieve the expected goals, this study uses four stages in its development, namely: Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Testing, which can later support perfection in this research. Connectivity Not affected by weather, and very fast responsibility under 1 second at optimal distances. Testing on the Bluetooth module produces data that Bluetooth can run well as long as it is still within optimal range. System Testing produces data that the development of the Prototype with its various tests has been valid and runs according to what has been expected. In order for this prototype to function further, a device is needed to strengthen the Bluetooth signal. Make the application simpler to make it easier to use without unnecessary features, so the application will be lighter and more responsive. Provide alternative switches, so that if at any time the prototype requires maintenance will not hinder user activities.

Abstract

Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (KDMP) merupakan program strategis pemerintah dalam memperkuat ekonomi lokal melalui pemberdayaan berbasis desa. Namun, banyak KDMP yang secara hukum telah terbentuk justru stagnan sebagai entitas pasif karena minimnya kapasitas kelembagaan, sistem administrasi yang tidak tertib, serta rendahnya keterlibatan anggota. Artikel ini mengkaji sebuah model pendampingan partisipatif yang dirancang khusus untuk mentransformasikan KDMP Desa Sranak, Bojonegoro, dari koperasi pasif menjadi lembaga simpan pinjam yang siap beroperasi. Berbeda dari pendampingan konvensional yang bersifat pelatihan teknis semata, intervensi ini mengintegrasikan tiga pilar transformasi: (1) penguatan administratif melalui penyusunan 16 buku wajib, RKT, RAPB, dan SOP; (2) perbaikan tata kelola kelembagaan melalui revisi AD/ART dan pelatihan manajemen simpan pinjam; serta (3) pembangunan sense of ownership anggota melalui sosialisasi partisipatif dan keterlibatan langsung dalam perencanaan usaha. Pelaksanaan kegiatan selama Juli–Agustus 2025 menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman prinsip koperasi, kesiapan operasional, dan komitmen kolektif anggota. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa pendampingan berbasis transformasibukan sekadar pelatihan merupakan kunci dalam mengaktifkan koperasi desa. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi praktis berupa model pendampingan yang dapat direplikasi untuk mengatasi stagnasi KDMP di wilayah lain, sekaligus memperkaya state of the art dalam literatur pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental mahasiswa menjadi perhatian penting dalam dunia pendidikan, terutama terkait tingkat stres yang dialami selama proses akademik yang dapat berdampak pada prestasi dan kesejahteraan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kinerja algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM) dan C4.5 dalam mengklasifikasikan tingkat stres mahasiswa guna menentukan metode yang lebih optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan dataset dari Kaggle yang berisi 1.100 data mahasiswa dengan 20 atribut penyebab stres. Data tersebut diproses melalui tahapan normalisasi menggunakan MinMax Scaling dan seleksi fitur dengan metode Backward Elimination untuk mengoptimalkan model. Klasifikasi tingkat stres dibagi ke dalam tiga kategori: ringan, sedang, dan berat. Evaluasi model dilakukan menggunakan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa algoritma SVM memberikan akurasi tertinggi sebesar 91% dengan nilai presisi, recall, dan F1-score yang konsisten, sementara algoritma C4.5 menghasilkan akurasi 90% dengan hasil evaluasi yang serupa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa SVM lebih unggul dalam mengklasifikasikan tingkat stres mahasiswa dibandingkan C4.5. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan machine learning, khususnya SVM, dapat menjadi pendekatan efektif untuk deteksi dini tingkat stres mahasiswa dan berpotensi digunakan sebagai dasar pengembangan sistem pendukung keputusan dalam upaya pencegahan masalah kesehatan mental di lingkungan pendidikan.
