Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using nursery rhymes as media in increasing English vocabulary and self-confidence in children aged four and five years at Tutor Time Kindergarten, an Early Childhood Education school. Five English nursery rhymes are used to teach vocabulary to children. This study also examines the increase in children's confidence in singing and speaking English in public. This research method is an experiment with the control group and the treatment group. The results showed that the use of nursery rhymes as media was effective in increasing English vocabulary in children aged four and five years. Children in the treatment group showed a significant increase in understanding and using new vocabulary after participating in song learning. In addition, this study also revealed that there was an increase in children's confidence in singing and speaking English in public after they were involved in learning to use these songs. The use of nursery rhymes as media is an effective approach in increasing English vocabulary and self-confidence of early childhood at Tutor Time Kindergarten. These results have important implications for the development of fun and interactive learning methods in the PAUD environment to facilitate children's language development and confidence in English.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap Gaya kepemimpinan (X1) dan Budaya organisasi (X2) terhadap kepuasan pembelajaran anak usia dini (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan persepsi orang tua siswa terkait dengan variabel Gaya kepemimpinan (X1), variabel Budaya organisasi (X2) dan variabel kepuasan pembelajaran anak usia dini (Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua siswa kelompok B di TA/TK Al Azhar Syifa Budi dengan sampel penelitian orang tua siswa kelompok B yang berjumlah 54 orang. Dengan teknik sampel jenuh seluruhnya sebanyak 54 orang digunakan sebagai sampael penelitian. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel. Analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana untuk menguji pengaruh (X1) terhadap (Y), Pengaruh X2 terhadap Y, dan analisis regresi ganda menguji X1 dan X2 secara simultan terhadap Y. Hipotesa penelitian a). diduga Gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pembelajaran anak usia dini.; b) Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pembelajaran anak usia dini.; c). Gaya kepemimpinan dan Budaya organisasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pembelajaran anak usia dini.Kata Kunci: Gaya kepemimpinan, Budaya organisasi, kepuasan pembelajaran, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Providing a good environment for children should be a priority for parents and their educators, because the environment can be a means of learning for children. This research aims to provide an overview of how structuring a play environment can provide a stimulus to help the fine motor skills of young children grow. Qualitative research using observation, interviews, documentation and field notes as data collection methods. It is set in three schools, namely RA Halimatusa'diah, RA Ahsan, and RA Iqra' Sabila located in Jambi province which was assisted by teaching staff there to obtain the data sought. This research found that the implementation of the play environment arrangement was considered successful in stimulating the fine motor development of young children in three Raudathul Athfals (RA).

Abstract

Stroke merupakan kondisi tidak normal pembuluh darah otak, yang dikarakteristikkan oleh adanya perdarahan di dalam otak atau pembentukan embolus atau thrombus yang menyumbat pembuluh darah, mengakibatkan iskemik jaringan otak yang pada kondisi normal diperdarahi oleh pembuluh darah tersebut. Peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan stroke dapat mengoptimalkan peran kader lansia sebagai edukator dan motivator dalam pencegahan stroke. Kegiatan penyegaran kader lansia bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor para kader lansia tentang pencegahan stroke dalam upaya peningkatan derajat kesehatan masyarakat di Desa Sungai Langka. Kegiatan penyegaran kader yaitu penyampaian materi tentang faktor-faktor resiko terjadinya stroke, cara mencegah dan mengontrol faktor-faktor resiko stroke dan pengenalan dini tanda-tanda stroke. Hasil kegiatan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan kader lansia tentang manajemen pencegahan stroke dan adanya dukungan kader lansia, kepala desa serta dari pihak Puskesmas Bernung.

Abstract

Chronic renal failure is a decrease in kidney function characterized by a decrease in the glomerular filtration rate (less than 60 mL/min). Anxiety is a common symptom in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis, which can affect the quality of the patient both physically and psychologically. The finger-holding relaxation technique is a simple relaxation technique related to the fingers and the flow of energy in the body. Lemon aromatherapy is a type of aromatherapy that contains chemical compounds that have antidepressant properties, as well as mild sedatives. This research aims to determine and analyze nursing care for patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis with anxiety nursing problems before and after using the finger-holding relaxation technique and lemon aromatherapy. The research design used is an applied research design. The subjects in this study were 18 respondents who were in accordance with the results of the HARS scale questionnaire measurements. The intervention was carried out twice, before and one hour after the patient underwent hemodialysis for 15 minutes. The results of the study before the application of finger-holding relaxation therapy and lemon aromatherapy in the hemodialysis room on 18 respondents showed the results of 6 respondents with severe anxiety (33.3%), 8 respondents with moderate anxiety (44.5%) and 4 respondents with mild anxiety (22.2%). The results of the study after the application of finger-holding relaxation therapy and lemon aromatherapy in the hemodialysis room showed the results of a score of 5 respondents with moderate anxiety (27.7%), 9 respondents with mild anxiety (50%), 4 no anxiety (22.3%). The conclusion of this study is that finger-holding relaxation therapy and lemon aromatherapy have been proven to reduce anxiety levels because the benefits of finger-holding relaxation therapy and lemon aromatherapy are in line with aspects that can affect anxiety.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the functions of parents in supporting children's learning success at PAUD Melati 08 Jakarta Timur, identify the supporting factors that enable parents to assist in the learning process, and explain the outcomes of parental functions in the success of early childhood education at PAUD Melati 08. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The research stages consisted of orientation, exploration, and member checking. Data analysis techniques involved data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The findings revealed that parents at PAUD Melati 08 performed their roles in various ways, such as maintaining active communication with children, providing emotional support, and assisting the learning process at home. Several factors supported parental involvement, including adequate educational background, stable family economic conditions, and a strong understanding of the importance of parental roles in children's education. This study concludes that parental involvement significantly contributes to children's learning success at PAUD Melati 08 Jakarta Timur. Children who receive consistent attention and support from their parents demonstrate more stable cognitive, motor, language, and emotional development.   Keywords: Parental function, Learning success, PAUD

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the digital marketing implementation of Biosaka products through an andragogical approach among the Women Farmers Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani, KWT) Binangkit in Sukasari Village, Purwasari District, Karawang Regency. The training was designed to enhance participants’ skills in digital product marketing, focusing on three main indicators: packaging design, economic impact, and target market understanding. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, and activity documentation. The results indicate that the training significantly improved participants’ knowledge and skills, particularly in creating more attractive and informative product packaging. Economically, participants actively marketed their products via social media, maintained simple transaction records, and showed an increase in income. Regarding the target market, participants demonstrated the ability to identify potential consumers and develop promotion strategies aligned with digital trends. Overall, the digital marketing training based on andragogy proved effective in empowering rural women to develop local businesses. Support from the village government and UPTD strengthened the program’s sustainability, contributing to community-based economic empowerment efforts.

Abstract

  Early childhood education must be implemented using the right approach, in order to support the cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities of students. Therefore, a curriculum and learning methods are needed that must be relevant to interconnected science. This study aims to describe the implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the results of the application of the independent curriculum through the Montessori learning method at PAUD Perpilot Plamboyan 3 Karawang. The independent curriculum emphasizes learning activities using the concept of "Freedom to Learn, Freedom to Play". This is in line with the Montessori learning method which emphasizes the freedom of children to be able to explore according to the needs and interests of each child through the involvement of all five senses. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, namely a research method that focuses on analyzing and reconstructing according to the data obtained. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. While the subjects of this study were one principal, two educators and three parents of students. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the independent curriculum through the Montessori learning method at PAUD Percontohan Plamboyan 3 Karawang has been running well in accordance with the independent curriculum reference by combining Montessori principles in learning activities. Where students are focused on 3 main focuses of learning, namely intracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular.

Abstract

Family Education in Developing Independent Character at An-Nuriyyah Orphanage. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Singaperbangsa University, Karawang. This study aims to determine how the implementation of family education in social institutions, particularly orphanages, shapes the independent character of children in orphanages. Children living in orphanages generally come from broken or less harmonious family backgrounds, thus lacking direct family education experience from their biological parents. Therefore, the role of caregivers is crucial as substitutes for families, not only responsible for caring for and protecting but also guiding and educating children in their daily lives. Family education in this context is aimed at fostering independent character, namely the child's ability to solve problems, make decisions, act consistently, and not depend on others. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) perikanan melalui literasi akuntansi dengan pendekatan pendidikan masyarakat. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus pada Kelompok Pembudidaya Ikan (Pokdakan) Alam Tirto di Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumen, kemudian dianalisis dengan model interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pelaku UMKM perikanan sebelumnya belum memiliki praktik pencatatan keuangan yang memadai, sehingga kesadaran akan pentingnya laporan keuangan masih rendah. Intervensi berupa buku ajar literasi akuntansi berbasis experiential learning terbukti meningkatkan kemampuan peserta dalam mencatat arus kas, menyusun laporan laba rugi sederhana, dan memisahkan modal dengan keuntungan. Dampak pemberdayaan juga terlihat pada meningkatnya transparansi internal, kepercayaan diri dalam mengelola usaha, serta terbukanya akses pembiayaan formal. Meskipun demikian, program masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan waktu belajar dan motivasi sebagian peserta, sehingga diperlukan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa literasi akuntansi bukan hanya keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga instrumen pemberdayaan ekonomi yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan karakteristik serupa.
