Abstract

This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to investigate students speaking anxiety strategies at SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta in the context of English language learning to overcome their fear of speaking. The data collect through semi-structure in depth interviews. A total of 12 grade XI students participated in this study, consisting of 5 boys and 7 girls, with ages ranging from 16-17 years old. The data collected were to analyzed using thematic analysis method, which included coding, classification, and identification of themes and sub themes. The result show that most students experience moderate levels of anxiety. The results show that most students experience moderate levels and supportive English learning methods can help students overcome affective barriers such as speaking anxiety

Abstract

Abstract In the midst of the ongoing Industrial Revolution 4.0, students are increasingly surrounded by rapid technological advancements. Instead of focusing solely on rote memorization, educators are encouraged to design engaging and effective teaching strategies that incorporate technology as a learning tool. Consequently, it is crucial for modern educators particularly English teachers to seamlessly integrate suitable digital media into their classroom practices to support meaningful and enjoyable teaching and learning outcomes. This research investigates the implementation of the Cake application as a tool for enhancing high school students’ speaking abilities and examines their perceptions of the platform. Employing a mixed methods approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data were gathered through pre- and post-questionnaires with Likert-scale items, while qualitative data were obtained from open-ended questions to explore students’ perceptions and experiences. The participants consisted of students from class XI Social I at SMAN 19 Bekasi. The findings reveal that the Cake application proved to be an effective medium for supporting speaking skill development, increasing student engagement, and fostering self-confidence in English language learning. Abstract

Adolescence is a period of mental turmoil, a period of transition or on a rocking bridge, which connects dependent childhood with mature and independent adulthood. This situation shows how teenagers need help to solve the reproductive health problems they face through making the right decisions so they don't harm themselves or their future. One of the efforts that can be done to help adolescents solve the reproductive health problems they face is through understanding reproductive knowledge. Adolescent reproductive health information services aim to assist adolescents by exploring the conditions and problems they face, so that adolescents are able to make the right decisions in solving problems and what they see around them. The research method used is the method of preparation and implementation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the implementing team conducted a pre-test to students in order to make it easier for the implementing team to carry out the material to be conveyed through analysis and basic knowledge to students then the implementing team delivered the material and had a question and answer session and then students who wanted to consult about the problems experienced, students are allowed to come to the implementation team post or ask for the implementing team's phone number.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the applied behavioral analysis training method in dealing with children with special needs. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The type of data used in this study is qualitative data, which is categorized into two types, namely primary data and secondary data. Sources of data obtained through library research techniques (library study) which refers to sources available both online and offline such as: scientific journals, books and news sourced from trusted sources. The results of the study concluded that occupational therapy helps children train the muscles of the body and legs to be strong and balanced right and left. Teach which emphasizes children to be able to work purposefully in their community. Sensory integration therapy teaches children how to train the balance of the right brain and left brain to develop in a balanced way. Sone-rise has the main principle of following "whatever" the child wants to do, there is nothing wrong with the child's behavior and accepting it as it is with passion and love. The therapies above are more focused on physical and minimizing hyper behavior in children, while none has focused on communication skills in children. Therefore we need a comprehensive therapy in helping children's development. A comprehensive therapy in helping children's development is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.

Abstract

Learning English is fundamental and speaking English is a requirement that appears in every job vacancy. In vocational school vocational students' learning, every student should be able to understand English, especially if they take a tourism or hospitality vocation.  Therefore, UHAMKA and Jayabaya University lecturers held community service activities (PKM) at SMK Jayawisata 1 Central Jakarta with the aim of identifying English language needs for vocational school students. This PKM is held in the form of providing materials and training in English role studies, with the aim of increasing knowledge in business management, e-commerce and career planning. The method used in this study is through a literature study which collects several previous studies to answer the role of English. Use of English and the influence of using English for the purpose of applying knowledge regarding business management, e-commerce and career planning. It is hoped that all SMK Jayawisata 1 students who have taken part in training in the lecturer's role, namely PKM (Community Service), can broaden their knowledge of Business English. Based on the results of this literature study, it can be concluded that English plays an important role as a communication tool for business purposes.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of E-LKPD learning media in improving the learning outcomes of Grade XI students at SMAN 106 Jakarta. The study involved two classes of 36 students each, selected through purposive sampling. The results show that the experimental class using E-LKPD learning media showed significant improvement in learning outcomes compared to the control class using conventional methods. The experimental class showed a more consistent and homogeneous improvement, with the E-LKPD media helping students to better understand the material, increasing active participation and enabling a more engaged and interactive learning process. In addition, the flexibility of e-LKPDs to provide anytime, anywhere access to learning materials and the ease with which teachers can deliver content and monitor progress contributed to success. This study concludes that e-LKPDs are a significant and effective tool for improving student learning outcomes.
