Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by low student learning outcomes. This can be seen from 34 students, only 14 students completed with an average of 65,76 while the KKM established by the school is 75. The low learning outcomes of social science students due, teachers who still use lecture and question and answer methods without using media and teachers less apply learning models or teaching strategies that vary in social science learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of social science students grade IVB SD Negeri 29 Pekanbaru by applying cooperative learning model type examples non examples. This study is a classroom action research, consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and one daily test at the end of each cycle. The subjects of this study are students of grade IVB SD Negeri 29 Pekanbaru which amounted to 34 students, consisting of 23 male students and 11 female students. This study was conducted in the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. After the process of improving learning by using cooperative learning model type examples non examples teacher activity in the first cycle increased from 66,66% with enough category, to 79,16% with good category. Then on the second cycle increased again from 87,50% with very good category, to 91,67% with very good category. While the activity of students in the first cycle increased from 62.50% with enough category, to 70.83% with enough category. Then increase again in cycle II from 79,16% with good category, become 87,50% with very good category. Student learning outcomes increased from 65,76 to 73,97 in daily repeat I with a 12,48% increase in percentage and in daily test II increased again to 82,50 with an increase percentage of 24,45%.Keywords: Examples Non Examples, Learning Results Of Social Science

Abstract

Weaver ants (Oecophylla smaragdina (Fabricus)) are carnivorous insects and play a role as biocontrol agents in urban habitats. This study aims to analyze the foraging behavior of O. smaragdina in two different habitats, namely urban and non-urban. The two locations are characterized by differences in the intensity of human interaction and the distance between the trees and the tree canopy. The behavioral observation method uses all sampling events with five behavioral categories: lurking (M1), approaching (M2), carrying (M3), communicating between ants in a colony (K1), and competition with other ants (K2). We tested three different types of feed: chick scraps, Tenebrio molitor Linnaeus larvae, and sugar. The results showed that there were three sequences of foraging behavior in urban areas, namely: (1) M1, M2, K1, M3, (2) M1, M2, K1, M3, K2, and (3) M1, M2, K2, M3. Meanwhile, there is only one pattern in non-urban areas, namely M1, M2, M3. Approaching food (M2) and lurking food (M1) were the dominant responses of O. smaragdina in urban and non-urban areas. In urban areas, broiler chickens were the type of feed most approached by ants, followed by sugar and beetle larvae. O. smaragdina in non-urban areas also preferred chicken pieces as feed compared to the others, but only one individual O. smaragdina approached (M2) chicken pieces and none approached the others. Foraging ants are more active at high temperature and low humidity, compared to low temperature and high humidity. Therefore, the foraging behavior of O. smaragdina is influenced by habitat factors.

Abstract

Disorders experienced by children are certainly very unpleasant, especially for parents, teachers and families because there are special limitations that are different from normal children, so parents and teachers need to provide special therapy to abnormal children which of course leads to better. Each therapy has advantages and disadvantages, for example: biomedical therapy focuses more on minimizing hyper behavior so that children can be calm. Occupational therapy helps children train the muscles of the body and legs to be strong and balanced right and left. Teacch that emphasizes children to be able to work purposefully in their community. Sensory integration therapy teaches children how to train the balance of the right and left brain so that they develop in a balanced way. Sone-rise has a main principle, namely following "whatever" the child wants to do, there is nothing wrong with the child's behavior and accepting it as it is with enthusiasm and love. The therapies above focus more on physical and minimizing hyper behavior in children, while none have focused on communication skills in children. Therefore, a comprehensive therapy is needed to help children develop. A comprehensive therapy to help children develop is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. In line with the various demands addressed to each teacher, with various academic requirements for a teacher, their existence is highly expected to provide learning based on the competencies that must be possessed, along with the demands of the development of the child's soul. Fulfillment of the requirements for mastering competencies as a learning agent which includes Pedagogical Competence, personality competency, social competency and professional competency can be proven through the process of achieving educational quality based on the minimum completion criteria (KKM). Thus, it is necessary to conduct training for teachers of SDN Gugus III Ciawi Bogor in improving teaching competency through the ABA method in handling children with special needs

Abstract

Decision Support Systems (DSS) have become essential tools in the de-cision-making process across various fields. In the context of selecting the chairman of the Computer Engineering Student Association at Uni-versitas Borneo Tarakan, the use of DSS is also highly relevant and beneficial. The MOOSRA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis) method has been chosen as the approach to implement this decision support system. This study aims to apply the MOOSRA method in the implementation of a web-based decision support system for the selection of prospective chairpersons of the Computer Engineer-ing Student Association at Universitas Borneo Tarakan. The MOOSRA method is utilized to consider several criteria, such as leadership skills, communication abilities, dedication, and organizational experience. In this research, the use of MOOSRA is combined with web technology to enhance the efficiency and quality of the candidate selection process. The MOOSRA method offers a structured and objective approach to evaluating candidates for the chairmanship. This approach involves ratio analysis and multi-objective optimization to produce better out-comes. The results of this study are expected to facilitate a fairer and more objective selection process, as well as to improve student satisfac-tion within the Computer Engineering Student Association at Universi-tas Borneo Tarakan.
