Abstract

This research is a development study using the Four-D Model development model. The research instruments used in this study were interview guidelines for teachers, student questionnaires, validity test questionnaires, and practicality test questionnaires. The LKPD was validated by two lecturers from the Department of Biology, FMIPA UNP, one biology teacher, and 28 students from MAN 1 Kota Padang Phase E Academic Year 2025/2026 to test the practicality of the product. Based on the results of the initial and final analysis, the LKPD developed is a PjBL-STEM-based LKPD on biodiversity material for Phase E students. The validity of the PjBL-STEM-based LKPD is 88.64% (highly valid), and the practicality test results by teachers are 90.97% (highly practical) and practicality scores by students are 89.97% (highly practical). The average practicality test results by teachers and students were 90.47% (very practical). Thus, the developed LKPD is highly valid and highly practical.

Abstract

Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure that causes persistent symptoms in target organs, such as: Stroke, coronary heart disease in blood vessels and heart muscle. It is estimated that cases of hypertension will increase by 80% by 2025, especially in developing countries, from 639 million cases in 2000 to 1.15 billion cases in 2025. Treatment of hypertension is generally done with medical drugs, but the use of medicinal plants as complementary therapy is increasingly in demand. The goal of this Community Service Program is to educate and empower the community to actively participate in managing their health, particularly in controlling blood pressure by utilizing existing natural resources and reducing dependence on chemical medications. This activity was conducted through outreach, discussions, and pre- and post-tests on 35 community members. This community service activity was held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the homes of residents of Dusun II, Desa Sei Kamah II, Kecamatan Sei Dadap, Kabupaten Asahan. The implementation of PkM activities showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of PkM participants about herbal plants for controlling blood pressure in the Sei Kamah II Village community, where before the education, community knowledge was in the poor category, namely 27 people (77.1%), and the good category was 8 people (22.7%). After the education, there was an increase in the knowledge of PkM participants, namely the good category of 33 people (94.3%) and the poor category of 2 people (5.7%).

Abstract

Professional ethics in the accounting profession are crucial for accountants in managing financial matters to prevent unethical actions in the preparation and presentation of financial statements. However, in practice, many accountants still violate professional ethics due to individual materialistic motives, which are not in accordance with Islamic provisions and sharia principles. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level of awareness among Accounting students based on Islamic values as contained in Q.S. Al-Baqarah (2): 282–284 and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), which are derived from the Al-Qur'an. The research method used is descriptive statistics with a quantitative approach to examine the level of students’ awareness of accounting professional ethics based on Islamic sharia, using a closed-ended questionnaire as the instrument. The instrument testing results indicate that the data are valid and reliable. Statistical results show that students have a high level of awareness of professional ethics. This provides empirical evidence that the inclusion of ethical content in accounting education significantly influences the moral development of students.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan aktivitas yang dijalankan oleh mahasiswa sebagai wujud dari penerapan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi melalui pengabdian langsung kepada masyarakat, dengan tujuan meningkatkan potensi lokal secara aktif dan berkelanjutan. Nagari Tanjung memiliki berbagai potensi dalam bidang pariwisata, ekonomi kreatif, serta sosial budaya yang belum dimaksimalkan, sehingga diperlukan suatu program pemberdayaan yang bersifat terpadu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pelaksanaan serta dampak dari program KKN dalam memperkuat potensi lokal di Nagari Tanjung. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan partisipatif yang meliputi observasi di lapangan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, serta kerjasama dengan perangkat nagari dan masyarakat. Program utama terdiri dari identifikasi potensi pariwisata, pelatihan membuat kerajinan dari kain bekas dan pemasaran secara digital, pembinaan generasi muda yang peduli terhadap lingkungan, serta promosi kelompok tari tradisional. Program tambahan melibatkan kegiatan seperti posyandu, bimbingan belajar, kampanye menolak perundungan, kerja bakti, dan partisipasi dalam acara keagamaan. dampak dari pelaksanaan aktivitas tersebut mengalami peningkatan dalam keterlibatan masyarakat, keterampilan di sektor ekonomi kreatif, kesadaran akan lingkungan, serta penguatan nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya setempat. Dengan demikian, program KKN ini berperan penting dalam mendorong pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berbasis pada potensi daerah secara berkesinambungan. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan agar dilakukan kajian yang lebih mendalam terkait keberlanjutan program pemberdayaan, pengukuran dampak jangka panjang, serta integrasi teknologi digital yang lebih luas dalam pengembangan potensi lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the cognitive and behavioral learning models, their implementation and influence on student learning outcomes, and to identify the advantages and disadvantages of each model. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review approach. Secondary data collection was conducted by searching relevant national and international reputable scientific journal articles. The results of the study show that the cognitive model focuses on students' internal mental processes and has a strong influence on improving high-level conceptual learning outcomes (higher-order thinking) through the application of problem-based learning, discovery learning, and mind mapping methods. Conversely, the behavioral model emphasizes observable behavioral changes through stimulus-response manipulation, which is proven to be effective in increasing the accuracy of students' basic and procedural skills through drill methods and systematic reinforcement. The advantage of the cognitive model lies in its ability to build deep understanding, but its disadvantage is the long duration of material preparation. Meanwhile, the advantage of the behavioral model lies in its efficiency in forming basic skills and discipline, but it lacks in developing critical thinking. This article concludes that a synergistic integration between cognitive and behavioral approaches can formulate a more holistic learning model in optimizing student learning outcomes as a whole. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam model pembelajaran kognitif dan behavioristik, bentuk penerapan dan pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar siswa, serta mengidentifikasi kelebihan dan kekurangan dari masing-masing model tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Pengumpulan data sekunder dilakukan melalui penelusuran artikel jurnal ilmiah bereputasi nasional dan internasional yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model kognitif berfokus pada proses mental internal siswa dan berpengaruh kuat dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar konseptual tingkat tinggi (higher-order thinking) melalui penerapan metode problem-based learning, discovery learning, dan mind mapping. Sebaliknya, model behavioristik menekankan pada perubahan perilaku nyata melalui manipulasi stimulus-respons, yang terbukti berpengaruh efektif dalam meningkatkan akurasi keterampilan dasar dan prosedural siswa melalui metode drill dan penguatan sistematis (reinforcement). Kelebihan model kognitif terletak pada kemampuannya membangun pemahaman yang mendalam, namun memiliki kekurangan berupa durasi persiapan materi yang lama. Sementara itu, kelebihan model behavioristik terletak pada efisiensinya dalam membentuk keterampilan dasar dan disiplin, tetapi memiliki kekurangan dalam mengembangkan berpikir kritis. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi yang sinergis antara pendekatan kognitif dan behavioristik dapat menghasilkan model pembelajaran yang lebih holistik dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara menyeluruh.
