Abstract

This research is based on a study of the principles of curriculum development which includes an understanding of the meaning of the curriculum in the teaching context. Curriculum is a general plan that summarizes the learning objectives, content, teaching methods, and assessments used in an educational program. Curriculum development is a complex process and involves various principles that must be taken into account. This research aims to find out and examine the principles of curriculum development. To obtain data from this problem, the author uses a qualitative descriptive method in the form of a literature review, thus proving a scientific study that can be researched and developed further. This research data collection technique was carried out by collecting various reference sources or literature that were considered appropriate, both in the form of soft and written text such as scientific articles, articles, textbooks, etc. The results of the data obtained by the author suggest that there are several principles of curriculum development that are often explored in research, including relevance, continuity, flexibility, effectiveness, practicality and others. By referring to the principles of curriculum development, curriculum development can work consistently, with direction, and with accountable results. Apart from that, the differences in principles in the curriculum and its development are marked by the fact that the curriculum itself is a field of study. Examining the principles of curriculum development can help increase our understanding of how to design an effective curriculum and respond to changing times. By understanding these principles, policy makers developing curricula can provide relevant and meaningful learning experiences for students.

Abstract

Keberadaan planetarium El Hilal menjadi landasan pemikiran Islam yang sangat penting untuk jadikan pusat kajian Islam dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan Ilmu Falak, di UIN Alauddin Makassar masih sangat kurang, sehingga dengan adanya planetarium ini bisa memberikan pendidikan formal secara interaktif dan bisa dijadikan objek edukasi bagi mahasiswa UIN Alauddin Makassar dan mahasiswa dari universitas lain. Jenis penelitian ini tergolong dalam penelitian lapangan, dengan pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah: pendekatan yuridis formal, dan pendekatan astronomis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di Kampus 2 UIN Alauddin Makassar. sedangkan sumber data skunder dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari buku, jurnal, skripsi, dan tulisan ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan urgensi Planetarium El Hilal berfungsi sebagai media pengembangan ilmu falak, tempat ruang belajar, tempat untuk observasi benda-benda langit dan dijadikan tempat diskusi ilmiah tentang alam semesta. Keberadaannya sangat menguntungkan dan strategis bagi para mahasiswa Ilmu Falak sedangkan menurut beberapa mahasiswa mengatakan keberadaan planetarium tidak terlalu umum dan belum efektif karena masih di jadikan ruang untuk belajar dan praktik. Prospek pengembangan dalam dunia pendidikan, Planetarium El Hilal kedepannya dapat menjadi sarana eduwisata bagi masyarakat umum, tempat penelitian atau pengamatan bagi mahasiswa ilmu, dijadikan sarana hiburan bagi masyarakat umum. Prospek pengembangan dalam instrumen Planetarium El Hilal diharapkan memiliki kubah atau dome, ruangan yang dikembangkan menjadi lebih luas seperti auditorium, mempunyai proyektor, dan kedepannya Planetarium El Hilalmemiliki instrumen yang nyaman bagi pengunjung seperti tempat duduk/sofa yang canggih dan berkualitas dan instrumen-instrumen lainnya dapat diperbarui.Implikasi dalam penelitian Planetarium El Hilal harus lebih aktif menjalankan kegiatan dan mengembangkan perannya dalam pendidikan dan praktik falak di UIN Alauddin Makassar, terlebih planetarium seperti ini baru ada di wilayah Indonesia Timur, serta kedepannya instrumen dan infrasturukturnya lebih dikembangkan menjadi teknologi yang canggih.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang arah mata angin pada rumah Bugis dan implikasinya terhadap Ilmu Falak di Desa Talungeng Kecamatan Barebbo Kabupaten Bone. Jenis Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Adapun metode pengumpulan data, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa metodologi penentuan arah mata angin pada rumah Bugis di Desa Talungeng Kecamatan Barebbo Kabupaten Bone yakni dengan melihat posisi matahari, dengan melihat tempat terbenam ataupun terbitnya matahari. Adapun implikasi penggunaan arah mata angin pada rumah bugis terhadap Ilmu Falak di Desa Talungeng Kecamatan Barebbo Kabupaten Bone secara tidak langsung memiliki persamaan dengan Ilmu Falak sebagai suatu cabang ilmu yang berkaitan dengan benda-benda langit dalam menerapkan keilmuannya, salah satunya adalah penggunaan matahari sebagai metode yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Desa Talungeng dalam penentuan arah mata angin. Implikasi dari penelitian ini bahwa metodologi penentuan arah mata angin pada rumah Bugis menggunakan posisi terbit dan terbenamnya matahari sebagai salah satu metode dalam penentuan letak arah mata angin perlu untuk dilakukan penelitian lebih mendalam terkait dengan tingkat keakurasiannya dan juga penulis berharap agar tokoh agama ataupun mahasiswa Ilmu Falak itu sendiri dapat lebih memperhatikan dan melakukan sosialisasi terkait arah kiblat yang sebenarnya.

Abstract

The pursuit of knowledge provides women with opportunities to share insights and understanding of religion and social wisdom. This endeavor can enhance faith, support social progress, contribute to various fields that benefit the community, and position women as essential role models for future generations. Specifically, this article discusses the status and obligation of seeking knowledge for women based on the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), reflections on women’s pursuit of knowledge, and their role in social life from the perspective of the Prophet. This article employs a qualitative research method based on library studies, using primary sources from literature relevant to the research focus. A thematic approach is applied to interpret the hadiths concerning the obligation to seek knowledge. The findings reveal that education for women in Islam is an obligation equal to that for men, rooted in religious teachings that place knowledge as the foundation of faith and piety. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of knowledge for every Muslim, regardless of gender, making it a vital means for understanding religion and enhancing social roles.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the nature and existence of Islamic boarding schools as educational institutions that are deeply rooted (indigenous) in Indonesian Muslim society, in its development Islamic boarding schools are able to maintain and preserve their sustainability (survival system). The purpose of this writing is to examine the background of Islamic education, especially in Indonesia and to examine the significance of Islamic boarding schools as one of the Islamic educational institutions. Document studies in the form of soft copies and written documents were used to collect data for this research which were then analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of the study, the existence of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia is increasingly well-known and increasingly varied. Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions that have an important role in the midst of society, covering at least three aspects, namely religious functions, social functions, and educational functions. Keywords: Historical Review, Islamic Boarding School, Islamic Education

Abstract

Abstract The article discusses the Implementation of Graphic Design in Learning Falak Science (Case Study of Falak Science Study Program UIN Alauddin Makassar). The main formulation of this research problem is further elaborated into two namely: First, How is the concept of Falak Science graphic design in the digital era? Second, How is the implementation of graphic design on the development of Falak Science? This type of research is field research, which is a method that describes and analyzes the results of research based on facts found in the field. Then this type of research can also provide more specific and accurate data on the object of research. Where, the object in this study refers to the Graphic Design Implementation in Falak Science Learning in the Falak Science Study Program at UIN Alauddin Makassar. The results of this study indicate that the response of students majoring in Falak Science at UIN Alauddin Makassar thinks that graphic design in learning falak science has been proven to increase students' understanding of the material taught so that it makes it easier for students to get information more effectively and efficiently about Falak Science. Graphic design also has a positive impact on students' technological skills. Students become more accustomed and skilled in using various graphic design software that is useful not only in the context of Falak Science learning as in the use of Falak Science applications. The implication of this research is that research can develop Falak Science learning modules that make maximum use of graphic design, so that the material can be delivered in a more interesting and easy-to-understand way. Further research on the long-term impact of using graphic design in learning and evaluating its effectiveness in various other courses.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the 31st Muhammadiyah Tarjih National Conference on the determination of the dawn prayer time in Makassar, where there is no uniformity in the application of the dawn time, especially related to the adjustment of the time based on the decision of the 31st Muhammadiyah Tarjih National Conference. The focus of this study is to identify the public response and the method of determining the law used by the Tarjih National Conference in determining the criteria for the dawn prayer time. This study is a field research with a qualitative descriptive type and uses a sharia and historical approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations and literature studies, then analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the determination of the initial time for the dawn prayer in Muhammadiyah mosques in Makassar follows the schedule of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, but for dawn it refers to the decision of the 31st Muhammadiyah Tarjih National Conference with an additional 8 minutes. The public response, both from Muhammadiyah and NU, was generally positive as a form of caution. The implications of this study indicate that the lack of socialization about the change in the beginning of the dawn prayer time in society has resulted in differences among Islamic mass organizations. The community also needs to maintain unity, tolerance, and Islamic brotherhood in responding to differences in ijtihadiyah.

Abstract

The al-Qur'an, as the word of God (kalāmullāh), has various multidimensional functions for Muslims, one of which is as a healer (al-Shifa'), for both spiritual and physical ailments. In a spiritual context, the al-Qur'an cures ailments of the heart such as misguidance, doubt, and ignorance; while in the physical aspect, the al-Qur'an serves as a means of healing through the practice of ruqyah syar'iyyah. This article aimed to examine the meaning of al-Shifa' using the thematic exegesis method (tafsīr mawḍūʿī), compile related verses, and examine the views of classical exegetes such as Ibn Kathīr and al-Rāzī, as well as contemporary exegetes such as Quraish Shihab and Wahbah al-Zuḥailī. This study also highlighted the practical implementation of the concept of al-Shifa' in the lives of Muslims, particularly in the spiritual realm and al-Quran-based alternative medicine. This study employed a qualitative approach with a literature review, examining primary literature in the form of al-Quran verses and Qur’anic exegesis books, as well as secondary literature in the form of articles, journals, and books related to Qur'anic healing. The results showed that the al-Quran, as a source of healing, had a holistic function: healing psychological and emotional aspects, and was used in physical treatment through ruqyah. Scholars agreed that the meaning of syifā' was not merely physical, but rather profoundly spiritual and theological. In practice, reciting certain verses from the al-Quran was believed to calm the soul, alleviate anxiety, and be part of faith therapy. The concept of al-Syifā' in the al-Quran provided an understanding that true healing came not only from medical treatment but also through spiritual closeness to God. The al-Quran presented a comprehensive solution to address the physical and spiritual crises facing modern humans.

Abstract

AbstractHisab (theory) and rukyat (practice) are two methods of determining the beginning of the month qomariyah which each has a foundation in the Qur'an and Hadith, it shows that these two methods have a basis for then be used as a guide in determining the beginning of the month qomariyah, but the problem that arises of course is the criteria between these two different methods that cause differences in the community, but if observed in the implementation of these two methods, of course need each other, where the method of calculation asab theory-based theory must be proved scholarship, to prove the motive scholarship it takes the rukyat method as the only way to prove the truth of hisab, because the method of rukyat as a hilal observation step directly in the field. Likewise with the method of rukyat as a method oriented to the observation of hilal directly requires the method of reckoning as one of the ways to facilitate perukyat know the position of the new moon will be seen at the time of observation, he wrote in this paper, the author tries to unify the method of hisab and rukyat in the perspective of proof scientific.  Keywords: Hisab Method, Rukyat Method, Early Moon Qomariyah, Scientific

Abstract

The focus of this paper is to solve the problem of Qibla direction which related to prayers on vehicle. This paper was library research which the data were collected through review of written documents and online data and described through descriptive qualitative. In Islamic law the Qiblahdirection is stipulated as one of condition for the prayers validity.It is an obligation for Muslims in to pray facing the Ka’bah wherever in any under circumstances. The Muslim scholar agree that it is an obligation to face the Ka’bah for the people who can see it directly (‘Ainul Ka’bah) and an obligation to face the Ka’bah (Jihatul Ka’bah) for the people who cannot see it directly. When travelling and on a vehicle it is an obligation to pray facing the Qiblah, but if it not possible to do the fardhu prayer on a vehicle, it must be repeated when it reaches the permanent place. However, if it is only sunnah prayer it may be carried out on the vehicle without repeating it.   Keywords: Qibla direction, prayers, on vehicle
