Abstract

This research investigates the factors affecting the implementation of Health Regulation (No. 2269/2011) within families in Klampok Lor Village, Kebonagung, Demak. The study examines the relationships between maternal education levels, family income, family decision-making, and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) as specified by the regulation. The research employs a cross-sectional approach, gathering data through questionnaires distributed to 85 respondents within the village. The key findings indicate that most mothers in Klampok Lor Village possess only a primary education level, with a minority having advanced education. Family income levels predominantly fall below the Minimum Regional Wage (UMK). Moreover, most families in the village make decisions jointly between spouses. However, implementing Health Regulation within families shows room for improvement, with the majority demonstrating less satisfactory compliance. The research reveals significant relationships between maternal education, family income, decision-making, and CHLB compliance. Mothers with advanced education tend to exhibit better compliance with the regulation, emphasising the role of education in improving health outcomes. Families with higher incomes are more likely to follow CHLB, while collaborative decision-making within families contributes to enhanced compliance. This research underscores the complex interplay of socioeconomic factors, decision-making processes, and health regulation adherence within families. It emphasises the importance of education, economic support, and collaborative decision-making in promoting healthier practices. These findings can inform targeted interventions to bridge socioeconomic gaps and enhance health practices in Klampok Lor Village and similar communities.

Abstract

Posyandu (Integrated Health Service Post) is a form of community-based health service aimed at improving health status, particularly for toddlers, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers. One of the challenges in managing Posyandu is increasing the number of toddler visits and the activity level of cadres in delivering services. Low toddler visit rates and inactive cadres are common issues faced by Posyandu. The success of Posyandu often depends on the active role of cadres, who are the main drivers of Posyandu activities. The success of Posyandu is significantly influenced by the participation of active and competent cadres. In response to this challenge, Nganguk Village created the "KITA OKE" Posyandu innovation. The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between Posyandu innovation, cadre activity, and toddler visits. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach and a saturated sampling technique, meaning that all members of the population are included as the research sample. As a result, all 40 cadres were selected as respondents. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires and observations during Posyandu sessions. Statistical data analysis in this study employed the chi-square test. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of innovation at Posyandu positively correlates with cadre activity but does not directly affect toddler visit rates. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between innovation and cadre activity, but there is no relationship between Posyandu innovation and toddler visits.

Abstract

Background: The majority of cesarean section deliveries use spinal anesthesia which can have an effect on the deterioration of the gastrointestinal system so that intestinal peristalsis becomes slow. Slow intestinal peristaltic function leads to difficulty defecation and prolongs the day of treatment, in some cases can increase the risk of paralytic ileus. To prevent the risk of complications, intervention can be carried out in postoperative cesarean section patients with early mobilization. This study aims to determine the effect of early mobilization on intestinal peristaltic recovery in post- cesarean section patients. Subjects and Method: This was a quasy experiment conducted at Islamic Hospital in Demak, Central Java, from July to December 2024. A sample of 58 post-cesarean section mothers was selected using purposive sampling and divided into two groups. Assessment of intestinal peristaltic variables through auscultation examination with a stethoscope and early mobilization using observation sheet instruments. Intestinal peristaltic recovery between two groups were examined logistic regression. Results: There was a difference in intestinal peristaltic recovery in post- cesarean section patients between the intervention group and the control group (p=0.000) with the mean value of intestinal peristalsis in the intervention group of 25.45 (SD=6.07) and in the control group of 11.38 (SD=7.69). Patients who were given early mobilization had a 4.48 times faster chance of recovery of intestinal peristalsis. Conclusion: Early mobilization had a positive impact on the recovery of intestinal peristaltic (p<0.05). Health workers should not only provide education, but also assistance in the implement-tation of early mobilization, especially in the first 24 hours post- cesarean section. Keywords: early mobilization, intestinal peristaltics, post cesarean section.

Abstract
