Abstract

The challenge for rural communities to provide quality education for early childhood in Indonesia is difficult. National politics, policies, and economic and cultural conditions affect the Early Childhood Education system, and Indonesia is a large multicultural country, so, even the quality of education is difficult. This study aims to look at the quality of children's education in Pandalungan. Using qualitative methods with ethnographic design, data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that educational institutions for children in urban areas can be categorized quite high. However, for early childhood education services in Desa Sukorambi Pandalungan, the quality is quite poor. Research suggestions are the need for follow-up related to social, economic, cultural and environmental factors at the level of Pandalungan community awareness of early childhood education. Abstract

The concept of the time value of money, as recognized by conventional economics, posits that money available at the present time is worth more than the same amount in the future due to its potential earning capacity. This idea underlies the existence of interest rates and the fluctuating values of goods and services. The purpose of this study is to examine the perspectives of Al-Nabhani and Zallum on money and Islamic economics in relation to the time value of money. This research employs a qualitative method with a content analysis approach to the texts of Nizhâm Al-Iqtishâdy written by Taqiyuddin Al-Nabhani and Al-Amwâl authored by Abd Al-Qadim Zallum. The findings reveal distinctive viewpoints from these scholars: in Islam, money is defined as gold and silver with specific weights, and such currencies maintain stable values. Money is used as a standard measure for goods and services, serves as a medium of exchange, and the concept of the time value of money is rejected in Islamic law because it involves riba (interest), which is prohibited. Furthermore, hoarding money (kanz al-mâl) is forbidden, as is accumulating money to earn interest. Gold and silver can be lent (qardh) provided the transaction is immediate and in person. The time value of money concept does not exist in Islam because Islamic finance is based on gold and silver, which are stable, and this approach can offer solutions to global financial issues such as inflation. Keywords: Time value of money; Islamic economics; Gold and silver currency; interest; Hoarding money

Abstract

The trend of using herbal medicines is currently increasing, it is predicted that the peak of progress from the use of herbal medicines will occur in 2050. In order to get there, the production of herbal medicines is a must, this is because it is proven that medicines made from herbs are more beneficial. Minhajul Karomah Herbal Medicine Business is one of the herbal medicine manufacturers in Banten. What is the business development strategy? The research method used is qualitative with qualitative analysis and SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity Threat). Data were obtained through direct observation, in-depth interviews and document studies. The results of this study are that the strategy used in the Minhajul Karamah herbal medicine business is; adding product variants, improving the quality of human resources, providing the best service and innovating sales. This strategy from an Islamic perspective is that it must be aligned with sharia values, especially those related to halal products and sharia management patterns that are applied in their management. The SWOT analysis shows that the strength of Minhajul Karomah Herbal Medicine is the captive market, namely the large number of PJBN members and the opportunity for herbal medicines. The weakness is that the business has not been running for a long time, the management is not neat and the production system is not stable. The opportunities that exist are the increasing public interest in herbal medicines and the opening of international markets. The threats from this business are competitors from large companies and policies that still do not support herbal medicines.
