Abstract

Integrated Farming System is a management system for plants, livestock, and aquaculture with environment to produce an excellent product. The objectives of the community service activity were empowering Jatisari Village community to realize the Agrotourism Village, ensuring integrated farming systems run well and optimally, and making Jatisari Village a fostered village of the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Agriculture UNIBA. Integrated farming system is a system that combines agricultural activities, animal husbandry, fisheries, and forestry with other sciences related to agriculture in one land, so that it is expected to be one of the solutions for increasing land productivity, building programs and environmental conservation, and integrated village development. Entrepreneurship is also important to support the existence of agrotourism of Jatisari Village. Jatisari Village is prospective in developing agrotourism areas. Local potential, natural resources and human resources can be utilized to support the development of agrotourism areas

Abstract

Angka kecelakaan kerja di Indonesia cukup tinggi, tercatat sepanjang tahun 2023 data Kemnaker menunjukan angka 370.747 kasus. Sejumlah kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi pada proyek konstruksi sepanjang tahun 2023 menjadi potret kurangnya perhatian dalam pelaksanaan sistem manajeman keselamatan kerja dibidang konstruksi. Keselamatan kerja merupakan suatu cara untuk melindungi tenaga kerja dari luka yang disebabkan oleh kecelakaan yang berhubungan dengan pekerjaan. Resiko keselamatan dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan yang menyebabkan kebakaran, patah tulang, kesleo, serta kerugian alat tubuh seperti penglihatan dan pendengaran. Sedangkan kesehatan kerja adalah situasi dimana bebas dari gangguan fisik atau rasa sakit yang disebabkan oleh lingkungan kerja. Resiko kesehatan merupakan fakta- fakta dalam lingkungan kerja yang bekerja melebihi waktu yang ditentukan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah mengedukasi para pekerja proyek tentang pentingnya tanggap daruat banjir.Metode pengabdian dengan cara memberikan paparan informasi tentang sistem tanggap daruat, serta sharing diskusi antara tim K3 dan pekerja, persiapan alat simulasi tanggap daruat banjir yang akan digunakan sebagai media pelengkap kebutuhan praktek lapangan. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di Proyek Bendungan Jlantah Kabupaten Karanganyar Provinsi Jawa Tengah, sasaran warga sekitar Bendungan Jlantah yang merupakan pekerja proyek. Program Tanggap Darurat Banjir di Bendungan Jlantah berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman pekerja tentang Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) serta memperkuat koordinasi antar tim. Meskipun ada tantangan, program ini menunjukkan peningkatan kesiapsiagaan dan efektivitas tanggap darurat di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Using liquid organic fertilizer in agriculture can enhance the population of soil organisms and improve the soil's chemical, physical, and biological properties. This research aimed to determine the interaction of Amura Bio liquid organic fertilizer at various concentrations and time intervals on kailan (Brassica oleraceae Var. Alboglabra). The study was conducted from May to July 2024 in Kedunggalar, Ngawi, East Java. The research design employed was a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL) with 2 factors and 9 combinations, repeated 3 times. The first factor was the POC concentration with 3 levels: K1 = 20 ml/l, K2 = 40 ml/l, and K3 = 60 ml/l. The second factor was the time interval with 3 levels: I1 = once every 3 days, I2 = once every 5 days, and I3 = once every 7 days. Observed parameters included plant height, leaf width, root length, fresh fruit weight, and dry fruit weight. The results indicated an interaction between concentration and time interval for the administration of Amura Bio POC on the fresh fruit weight parameters. Amura Bio POC at a concentration of 60 ml/l produced the best results for all parameters, and a time interval of every 3 days provided the best results for several parameters.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah di Desa Bakipandeyan masih kurang begitu intensif karena, paradigma masyarakat hanya berfikir biasa tanpa adanya kemampuan untuk memperhatikan pengelolaan sampah secara optimal, sistem yang dilakukan masyarakat adalah dengan mengumpulkan dan memsnbuang sampah begitu saja tanpa memperhatikan nilai manfaat yang bisa digunakan dari sampah tersebut sehingga diperlukan upaya yang dapat menangani sampah dengan memberikan edukasi, percontohan, dan aplikasi dengan tujuan agar warga dapat meningkatkan wawasan betapa pentingnya mengurangi jumlah sampah dan efek yang ditimbulkan, pemberian percontohan dengan memberikan gambaran terhadap aktifitas pengelolaan sampah yang benar dan berkala. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 21 Setember 2022 di Desa Bakipandyan, Kecamatan Baki, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah. Pemberian edukasi kepada masyarakat desa menjadi langkah awal untuk menjalankan program bank sampah, hal ini dilakukan agar masyarakat sadar dan tergerak untuk melaksanakan program tebon resik guna membantu pemerintah setempat dalam menanggulangi sampah yang tak termanfaatkan. Evaluasi jalannya program bank sampah di Desa Bakipandeyan berjalan begitu baik, masyarakat kususnya ibu-ibu merupakan pelopor pemilah sampah dan menjadi produsen sampah untuk dikumpulkan di bank sampah terdekat.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the inoculation of antagonistic biological agents in controlling stem rot disease caused by the pathogenic fungus Fusarium spp., and to increase the growth of fig stem cuttings (Ficus carica L.). This research was conducted at the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Batik Surakarta (UIBS), from September 2020 to December 2020. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD)., with 6 types of treatment, consisting of control, Trichoderma, Gliocladium, Corynebacterium, PGPR, and synthetic fungicide Mancozeb as a comparison, with 3 repetitions and 3 sub-repetitions. Observations consisted of several parameters, namely: disease incubation period, disease incidence, disease severity, shoot growth period, shoot height, leaf number, leaf area, root length, and number of roots. The results showed that Trichoderma treatment gave the best results for all observed parameters, even better than Mancozeb which is usually used by farmers. This is because Trichoderma has the ability of antagonistic in the form of very aggressive competition, producing antibiotic, and mycoparasitic mechanism against the pathogenic fungus Fusarium spp., so its utilization can be applied in organic farming to control stem rot disease which is more environmentally friendly. Trichoderma can also be used as biofertilizer because it has the ability as a good biodecomposer, its can breakdown nitrogen nutrients, dissolve phosphate, and provide micro nutrients, and even release the hormones auxin, cytokinins and ethylene, so that its effectiveness can stimulate and increase vegetative growth of fig plants in the form of shoots, leaves and roots. Abstract

Wick hydroponics (Wick) is the simplest method, because it does not use electricity. The purpose of the study was to determine the best fertilizer ratio and type of planting media for Dakota mustard plants. The study used a Randomized Complete Block Design Split Plot, which consisted of 2 factors, namely Fertilizer Ratio (P) with treatment: P0: 100% AB Mix, P1: POC Ratio 70% : 30% AB Mix, P2: Ratio 50% : 50% AB Mix, and Planting Media (M) namely M0: Rockwool, M1: Cotton, M2: Rice Husk Charcoal. The results showed that the P treatment had a very significant effect on all parameters. The M treatment had a significant effect on plant height, fresh weight of plants, and plant consumption weight, and had a very significant effect on leaf width and root length. The combination of fertilizer ratio treatment and type of planting media in P0M2 (100% AB Mix and rice husk charcoal planting media) had a very significant effect on leaf width, fresh weight, and consumption weight of Dakota mustard plants.

Abstract

In an effort to solve the P availability issue in Inceptisols, fermentation is one method used to enhance the quality of liqiuid organic fertilizer (LOF) made from Moringa (Moringa oleifera). The type and concentration determine the effectiveness of LOF on nutrient uptake and plant yields. This study aims to evaluate the impact of LOF types, concentrations, and their interactions on P uptake and rice grain yield in Inceptisols. The research was conducted in a greenhouse using a completely random design (CRD) with two factors. The first factor is the type of LOF, consisting of two levels, i.e., fresh and fermented Moringa extract. The second factor is the LOF concentration, with four levels (i.e., 0, 20, 40, 60, and 80 ml/l) and three replications. Data analysis using ANOVA, DMRT, and correlation. The study revealed that the interaction between LOF types and concentrations affects P uptake. The highest P uptake shown by fermented Moringa with a concentration of 60 ml/l was 20.02 mg/plant and 40 ml/l was 18.73 mg/plants., or 1.5 times higher than the control. Grain yield was not affected by type, LOF concentration, or interaction. Fermented Moringa has good potential as LOF, while the effect on grain yield needs further research.

Abstract

This study examines the profitability of Mapan P05 hybrid rice farming and the impact of production costs on farmers' income in Susukan Village, Banjarnegara Regency, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach with a field survey design, data were collected from 78 Mapan P05 rice farmers through structured interviews. Descriptive and multiple linear regression analyses were utilized to analyze the data. The findings reveal that Mapan P05 rice farming in Susukan Village is profitable, with an average net income of 17.3 million Rupiah per hectare per cropping season. The regression analysis further elucidated the significant role of efficient resource allocation, particularly in labor (coefficient 1.389) and land preparation (coefficient 5.109) influence farmer income, in augmenting farmers' profitability. The empirical model derived is Y = -19,997,135 + 5,420X1 + 0,198X2 + 0,540X3 + 1,389X4 + 5,109X5 + e, where Y represents farmer income, X1 denotes seed costs, X2 signifies fertilizer expenses, X3 represents pesticide costs, X4 denotes labor costs, and X5 signifies land preparation costs. The regression analysis underscoring the importance of efficient labor utilization and optimal investment in land preparation to enhance the profitability of Mapan P05 rice farming. This study provides empirical evidence that adopting high-yielding varieties like Mapan P05 seed can bolster production and income for farmers. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan budidaya jamur tiram dan memberdayakan ibu rumah tangga melalui kegiatan budidaya jamur tiram. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah survey dan analisis lokasi, sharing knowledge tentang budidaya jamur tiram, pemberian baglog, dan pendampingan budidaya jamur tiram, pengolahan hasil jamur tiram serta praktek pengemasan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan pada bulan September sampai Desember 2020 di Desa Ngadirejo Kecamatan Kartosuro Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa ibu rumah tangga di Desa Ngadirejo memiliki kemampuan dalam melakukan budidaya jamur tiram. Ibu rumah tangga ini juga dapat melakukan proses pengolahan jamur tiram menjadi jamur crispi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menghasilkan luaran yaitu ibu rumah tangga di Desa Nagdirejo mampu melakukan budidaya jamur tiram dan mengilah jamur tiram menjadi jamur crispi.

Abstract

Budidaya tanaman tomat ceri (Solanum lycopersicum var. Cerasiforme) pada umumnya dilakukan di dataran tinggi namun dengan teknik yang tepat dan pemberian nutrisi yang tercukupi tanaman tomat ceri dapat tumbuh di dataran rendah. Teknik budidaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan pemangkasan tunas air dan pemberian nutrisi yaitu dengan pemberian pupuk organik vermikompos. Waktu penelitian pada bulan Januari-April 2025 di Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah dengan ketinggian 104 m dpl. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh terhadap perlakuan pemangkasan tunas air dan dosis vermikompos pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat ceri. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu pemangkasan tunas air dan dosis vermikompos. Faktor pertama adalah pemangkasan tunas air antara lainĀ  P0: tanpa pemangkasan tunas air dan P1: pemangkasan tunas air. Faktor kedua adalah dosis vermikompos antara lain V0: kontrol; V1: 400 gram; V2: 600 gram; dan V3: 800 gram. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian adalah perlakuan pemangkasan tunas air berpengaruh terhadap semua parameter yang diobservasi. Sedangkan perlakuan dosis vermikompos berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah buah per tanaman, berat buah per tanaman, dan berat brangkasan kering. Kombinasi terbaik yaitu perlakuan dengan pemangkasan tunas air (P1) dan dengan vermikompos 800 gram (V3) berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah dan berat buah per tanaman. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa mengintegrasikan praktik pemangkasan tunas air dan aplikasi vermikompos merupakan strategi budidaya yang sangat efektif dan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tomat ceri.
