Abstract

Kata Kunci: Hipertensi, Posbindu PTM, Pemberdayaan kader kesehatan ABSTRACT Hypertension is a disease with an increasing prevalence, especially in East Java Province, Indonesia. Despite the significant number of patients, only a small portion of them receive medical treatment. The Posbindu PTM (Integrated Non-Communicable Disease Post) program is used as a solution to early detect the risk factors of non-communicable diseases, especially hypertension. This program involves the role of health cadres to raise awareness and knowledge among the community. In its implementation, there are two main stages, namely the training on the 5 Posbindu PTM Tables technique and direct assistance in the Posbindu PTM activities within the community. The results show a significant increase in the cadres' knowledge after the training, with a significance level of 0.011 indicating the effectiveness of the training. Furthermore, the training was attended by 100% of the participants, demonstrating the active involvement of the health cadres. In the early detection process, 24 hypertension patients were identified, including 2 new cases, who directly received standard treatment from the local health center (Puskesmas). This step has had a positive impact on the 100% standard service coverage. The activities also resulted in two outputs, namely an article currently undergoing journal publication submission, and the establishment of 2 Posbindu PTM Work Groups in the Samangan Kulon village, each consisting of 5 health cadres. Through this program, it is hoped that the community will have a better understanding of hypertension and be able to prevent and manage their health conditions more effectively. Abstract

Anemia is a health problem that can occur in all age groups from toddlers to old age. Young women are susceptible to suffering from anemia because they experience a menstrual cycle every month. This study aims to determine the influence of age, menstrual pattern, nutritional adequacy rate (energy adequacy rate and protein adequacy rate), and nutritional status on the incidence of anemia in female students at Sidoarjo Islamic Middle School. The design of this research is observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. The population was female students at Sidoarjo Islamic Middle School with a sample size of 53 people. The independent variables in this study were age, menstrual pattern, nutritional adequacy rate (energy adequacy rate and protein adequacy rate), and nutritional status; and dependent variable is anemia. Data collection was carried out by checking Hb and Hct levels, measuring body weight and height, and filling out questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed using path analysis using smart Partial Least Square (PLS). There is a significant effect of protein adequacy on hemoglobin (Hb) levels. Female students with adequate protein intake tend to have better Hb levels, which play a role in preventing anemia. Therefore, meeting optimal protein needs is very important to support blood health and prevent health problems in female students.

Abstract

Basic immunization is a mandatory health program organized by the government for infants aged 0-12 months to provide immunity against preventable diseases through vaccination. The coverage of basic immunization in the Buduran Primary Health Care work area in Sukorejo Village, Buduran Sub-District, Sidoarjo Regency, still has incomplete coverage. The aim of this study is to understand the maternal knowledge regarding the completion of basic immunization in toddlers within the Buduran Primary Health Care work area, Buduran Sub-District, Sidoarjo Regency. This study utilized a descriptive method and was conducted from February to March 2023. The sample size was 50 mothers who had toddlers aged 0-12 months in Sukorejo Village, Buduran Sub-District, Sidoarjo Regency, selected through total sampling technique. The data were analyzed univariately. The results of the study showed that mothers with good knowledge who provided complete immunization accounted for 34% (17 individuals), while those with incomplete immunization accounted for 6% (3 individuals). Mothers with sufficient knowledge who provided complete immunization accounted for 6% (3 individuals), whereas those with incomplete immunization accounted for 10% (5 individuals). Mothers with poor knowledge who provided complete immunization accounted for 6% (3 individuals), whereas those with incomplete immunization accounted for 38% (19 individuals). Maternal knowledge is interconnected, contributing to the insufficient completion of basic immunization in their toddlers. Cross-tabulation was used for analysis in this scientific paper. The results of cross-tabulation indicated that the majority of mothers had poor knowledge and their children's immunization was incomplete, totaling 22 (44%). The incomplete immunization coverage among mothers with poor knowledge is attributed to factors such as a significant number of mothers having only completed high school education and lacking awareness of immunization schedules. This lack of information sources within the community necessitates greater monitoring by Posyandu cadres, motivating residents to immunize their children. Health workers are also advised to communicate immunization schedules to Posyandu cadres through their respective groups.

Theless than purpose of this community service is to assist the orphanage in monitoring the growth and development of residents and managers of the Mission Nusantara Orphanage in Surakarta. The implementation method is in the form of examinations on child growth and development, Counseling on Clean and Healthy Living, checking on the Nutritional Status of Children, counseling on how to brush their teeth properly, health checks for orphanage managers and training on disaster management. 6 percent) of the residents of the orphanage are male, almost half of them are aged 21-60 years, most (68.4 percent) have blood pressure less than 140/90 mmHg, most (73.1 percent) have normal nutritional status, almost all (94.4 percent) blood glucose less than 126 m/dL and uric acid less than 8 mg/dl. Similar activities are needed to see general body health and must be monitored periodically, so that the residents of the orphanage can find out their health status, especially now that they are still in a pandemic condition Covid-19
