Abstract

Kesehatan jiwa adalah kondisi individu yang dapat berkembang secara fisik, mental, spiritual, dan sosial sehingga mampu menyadari potensi diri, mengatasi tekanan, bekerja produktif, dan berkontribusi pada komunitas. Data WHO menunjukkan 1 dari 8 orang di dunia mengalami gangguan mental, sementara di Indonesia gangguan jiwa berat mencapai 7/1000 penduduk (Riskesdas, 2017), dan di Jawa Barat mencapai 9/1000 penduduk. Stigma sosial terhadap ODGJ menjadi hambatan utama, menyebabkan diskriminasi, marginalisasi, dan kekerasan (Kementerian, 2023). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode edukasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam mencegah kekerasan serta penolakan terhadap ODGJ saat kembali ke keluarga. Edukasi ditujukan pada keluarga penderita agar lebih aktif dalam memahami dampak stigma dan pentingnya penerimaan keluarga. Hasil skrining pre dan post test menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat; sebelum pendidikan kesehatan, tingkat pengetahuan mengenai dampak stigma dan penerimaan keluarga terhadap ODGJ adalah 0% baik, 16,7% cukup, dan 83,3% kurang, sementara setelahnya menjadi 40% baik, 60% cukup, dan 0% kurang. Peningkatan pengetahuan ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi stigma, mendorong penerimaan, dan menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih mendukung bagi ODGJ, serta meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka dan keluarganya

Abstract

Terapi bermain ular tangga adalah salah satu terapi menggunakan media yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan fungsi kognitif lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi bermain ular tangga terhadap tingkat kognitif pada lansia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest. Sampel Pada penelitian ini adalah lansia sebanyak 30 lansia, Teknik pengambilan sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Analisa data menggunakan analisis univariat untuk menggambarkan distribusi data dan analisis bivariat dengan uji Wilcoxon untuk menguji perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada tingkat kognitif lansia setelah diberikan intervensi permainan ular tangga (p<0,05). Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat di simpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh terapi bermain ular tangga terhadap Tingkat kognitif pada lansia. Kata Kunci :Fungsi Kognitif, Lansia, Terapi Bermain Ular Tangga

Abstract

Background: Emergency is a condition that is critical and urgent and requires rapid treatment. Emergency at home in everyday life has a significant prevalence due to the many accidents or sudden medical conditions that often occur in the home environment such as falls, burns, choking, heart attacks, asthma, and poisoning. PKK and Posyandu cadres act as health educators in the community. Purpose: To improve the understanding and skills of cadres in handling daily emergencies. Method: This community service activity is carried out with the aim of providing health education and training to PKK and Posyandu cadres of the Ros Group RW 10, Binong Village, Batununggal District. The activity was carried out in two days on different days at the RW 10 Mosque, Binong Village, Batununggal District. The implementing team for this community service activity were Lecturers and 9 Nursing students from Bhakti Kencana University and under the supervision of Pokja 4 of the local Health Center. The implementation was carried out by delivering materials using lecture, discussion, and demonstration methods. The first day's activities were carried out on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, which was attended by 11 participants and the second day's activities were carried out on Thursday, November 28, 2024, which was attended by 13 participants. Results: The activity went well and smoothly where the participants enthusiastically gave positive responses. Accumulation of questionnaire data showed that the activities on the first and second days showed an increase in the respondent's score between the level of knowledge before the counseling activity (pre-test) and the level of knowledge after the counseling (post-test). Most of the participants were able to demonstrate and re-practice the handling actions after gaining knowledge such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in cardiac arrest, handling choking, handling when a child has a seizure, how to compress with a sponge tape, simple wound care, and TTV examination Conclusion: Community service activities for handling daily emergencies for cadres can provide direct knowledge enhancement and foster self-confidence in handling daily emergencies. Increasing the skills of cadres provides motivation in carrying out their roles, empowering individuals or groups towards preparedness and handling daily emergencies. Suggestion: This activity needs to be carried out continuously so that it is recommended for the local Health Center to be able to follow up on this activity so that the knowledge and skills of cadres can be maintained and improved. Keywords: Cadres; Counseling; Emergency; Training Pendahuluan: Kegawatdaruratan merupakan kondisi yang bersifat gawat dan darurat dan memerlukan penanganan yang cepat. Kegawatdaruratan di rumah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari memiliki prevalensi yang cukup signifikan karena banyaknya kecelakaan atau kondisi medis mendadak yang sering terjadi di lingkungan rumah seperti jatuh, luka bakar, tersedak, serangan jantung, asma, dan keracunan.  kader PKK dan Posyandu berperan sebagai edukator kesehatan di lingkungan masyarakat. Tujuan: Untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan kader dalam menangani kegawatdaruratan sehari-hari. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan sasaran memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan dan pelatihan kepada kader PKK dan Posyandu Kelompok Ros RW 10 Kelurahan Binong Kecamatan Batununggal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam dua hari pada hari yang berbeda bertempat di Masjid RW 10 Kelurahan Binong Kecamatan Batununggal. Tim pelaksana kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Dosen dan 9 mahasiswa Keperawatan Universitas Bhakti Kencana serta di bawah pengawasan Pokja 4 Puskesmas setempat. Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan menyampaikan materi menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan demonstrasi. Kegiatan hari pertama dilakukan pada hari Rabu, 13 November 2024 yang dihadiri oleh 11 peserta dan kegiatan hari kedua dilakukan pada hari Kamis, 28 November 2024 yang dihadiri oleh 13 peserta. Hasil: Kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan lancar dimana para peserta secara antusias memberikan respon yang positif. Akumulasi data kuesioner menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pada hari pertama dan hari kedua terdapat peningkatan nilai skor responden antara tingkat pengetahuan sebelum kegiatan penyuluhan (pre-test) terhadap tingkat pengetahuan setelah penyuluhan (post-test). Sebagian besar para peserta dapat mendemonstrasikan dan mempraktikkan ulang tindakan penanganan setelah mendapatkan pengetahuan seperti resusitasi jantung paru (RJP) pada henti napas henti jantung, penanganan tersedak, penanganan saat anak kejang, cara kompres dengan tapid sponge, perawatan luka sederhana, dan pemeriksaan TTV Simpulan: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat penanganan kegawatdaruratan sehari-hari pada kader dapat memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan secara langsung dan menumbuhkan rasa kepercayaan diri dalam penanganan kegawatdaruratan sehari-hari. Meningkatnya ketrampilan para kader memberikan motivasi dalam melaksanakan perannya, pemberdayaan individu atau kelompok terhadap kesiapsiagaan dan penanganan kegawatdaruratan sehari hari. Saran: Kegiatan ini perlu dilakukan secara terus-menerus sehingga disarankan bagi Puskesmas setempat untuk dapat menindaklanjuti kegatan ini agar pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader dapat dipertahankan dan ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Background: Final year students are having a tough time, because there are many assignments and obligations to complete a thesis. At this time social support is really needed, usually students spend more time with their peers because social support from peers makes someone feel like they have friends to share the same interests with. Students who lack peer social support are at risk of experiencing academic burnout. This research aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and academic burnout in final year students at Bandung regional universities. Method: This research uses quantitative methods with correlational techniques. Subjects totaling 90 students were taken using the Simple Random Sampling. Data collection methods used the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) questionnaire, and peer social support questionnaires. Results: The research results showed that 68.9% of students had a low level of social support and 54.4% of students had a high level of academic burnout. The correlation test using Spearman Rank obtained a sig value of 0.017 <0.05. Conclusion there is a relationship between peer social support and the incidence of academic burnout in final year students at Bandung regional universities. It is hoped that future researchers can analyze other factors that can cause academic burnout.

Abstract

Aims: Preoperative anxiety in school-age children is an important problem for children who will carry out major surgery. When not resolved the problem results in a negative postoperative response such as higher pain, impaired sleep patterns, no appetite and changes in maladaptive behavior over the next two weeks. Pharmacological therapy is not given to psychosocial problems related to anxiety in school-aged children. So, it is necessary to trace the results of research related to non-pharmacological therapy. One of the non-pharmacological therapies used is Hypnotherapy. This study aims to analyze the effect of hypnotherapy in reducing anxiety in the preoperative phase by using the Modified Yale Preoperative Anxiety Scale (mYPAS) instrument. Hypnotherapy intervention is carried out structurally in the preoperative phase. Methods: This type of research is a Quasy Experiment with a time series design research design through pretest and posttest one group design. The technique used in this study was purposive sampling with 24 samples. Analysis of the data used consisted of univariate and bivariate. Univariates in this study describe the median while bivariate use Wilcoxon. Results: The results of the statistical analysis showed a significant difference between the anxiety test before and after the hypnotherapy intervention was given (p-value 0,0001). Conclusion: Influence of hypnotherapy to reduce the anxiety of school-age children in the preoperative phase in the Guntur room of level II Dustira Cimahi Hospital. Suggestions for nurses are expected to develop science and skills in complementary nursing and can be used as a companion intervention in overcoming preoperative anxiety in children.

Abstract

Background: The demands of completing a final project, coupled with an individual's lack of preparedness, can give rise to psychological problems such as anxiety, stress, and depression. Factors influencing anxiety include social support, trust, and modeling. Among these, peer social support plays a particularly significant role in the academic environment. Objective : This study aimed to examine the relationship between peer social support and anxiety among final-year students preparing their undergraduate thesis in the Nursing Study Program. Methods: This study employed a quantitative research design with a cross- sectional approach. A total of 110 final-year students were selected using stratified random sampling. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires: the Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A) to measure anxiety levels and the Peer Social Support Scale to assess peer social support. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate techniques, with the chi-square test applied to determine the relationship between variables. Results: The results of the study showed that out of 110 respondents, 10 (9.1%) had panic anxiety, 30 (27.3%) were severe, 20 (18.2%) were mild, and 24 (21.8%) had no anxiety. Peers were found to be 28 (25.5%) low, 53 (48.2%) moderate, and 29 (26.4%) high. The results of the relationship analysis obtained a P value of 0.0001 (α <0.05), which shows that there is a relationship between peer social support and anxiety. Abstract

Background: Academic procrastination is a widespread issue affecting university students, often linked to behavioral factors such as uncontrolled internet use. Among final-year nursing students, extended time spent on non-academic online activities—exceeding four hours daily—may contribute to delays in completing academic responsibilities. Objective: This study aimed to explore the relationship between internet addiction and the tendency to procrastinate academically among undergraduate nursing students. Method: A correlational quantitative approach was utilized in this study. The target population included 90 final-year students, with 86 respondents selected using an accidental sampling method. Data were collected through two standardized questionnaires—one measuring internet addiction levels and the other assessing academic procrastination. Statistical analyses included both univariate and bivariate procedures, with Spearman's rank correlation used to examine the association between the two variables. Results: Of the 86 participants, 60 students (69.8%) demonstrated moderate internet addiction, while 56 students (65.1%) reported moderate levels of academic procrastination. Analysis showed a statistically significant positive correlation between internet addiction and procrastination behavior (p = 0.007; r = 0.288). These findings suggest that higher levels of internet dependency are associated with an increased likelihood of delaying academic tasks. Conclusion: There is a meaningful association between excessive internet use and academic procrastination. It is recommended that students develop better time management strategies by limiting recreational internet use and allocating focused periods for academic work to reduce procrastination tendencies and improve academic outcomes.
