Abstract

The phenomenon of coercive begging raises complex social and ethical challenges. As a contemporary mufassir, Wahbah al-Zuḥaili addresses this issue through a distinctive approach that integrates modern social-ethical perspectives with Qur’anic teachings, specifically in QS. al-Baqarah (2): 273. This study aims to assess the ongoing relevance of his interpretation. It focuses on how al-Zuḥaili interprets coercive begging in this verse, as well as the epistemological and socio-political factors that shape his perspective. Employing Gadamer’s hermeneutics as the analytical framework, this research bridges the horizon of classical texts with contemporary social realities. The findings demonstrate that al-Zuḥaili’s interpretive method is both dynamic and integrative: he draws on lexical and grammatical analysis, classical and modern textual engagement, and historical experience to construct contextual and meaningful interpretations, all while remaining faithful to the core of the divine message. This model contributes to the evolution of Qur’anic interpretation, making it more responsive to the needs of contemporary society. The study reveals that al-Zuḥaili interprets the phrase lā yasʾalūn al-nās ilḥāfā as a prohibition of coercion rather than a blanket prohibition of asking. This interpretation reflects his engagement with the realities of coercive begging in Syria and Egypt during his lifetime. Al-Zuḥaili responds to the tension between scriptural text and contemporary socio-legal realities by proposing a practical alternative: rather than relying solely on criminal sanctions, governments should systematically identify vulnerable groups, foster interactive dialogue, and strengthen social welfare programs.

Abstract

Abstrak Al-Qur'an adalah wahyu ilahi yang diturunkan kepada Nabi Muhammad dalam bahasa Arab sebagai panduan utama bagi umat manusia, terutama orang bertakwa. Wahyu ini disampaikan secara terpercaya dan disusun dalam mushaf sebagai sumber hukum dan petunjuk spiritual. Untuk memahami Al-Qur'an secara mendalam, diperlukan ilmu seperti asbāb al-nuzūl (konteks turunnya ayat), munāsabah (hubungan tematik antara ayat dan surat), serta pemahaman perbedaan ayat Makkiyah dan Madaniyah. Munāsabah membantu mengungkap keterkaitan ayat yang penuh hikmah. Ulama percaya susunan ayat dan surat bersifat ilahi, mencerminkan kebijaksanaan, sehingga memperkuat tafsir dan penerapan ajaran Al-Qur'an dalam kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan utama menjelaskan bagaimana Al-Munasabah berfungsi sebagai alat metodologis untuk mengungkap kesatuan struktur dan makna Al-Qur'an. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur komparatif, dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai referensi, baik dari karya klasik maupun modern, yang membahas Al-Munasabah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Munasabah tidak hanya memperkaya penafsiran Al-Qur'an dengan menyoroti hubungan makna yang tersembunyi, tetapi juga menegaskan kemukjizatan Al-Qur'an sebagai kitab yang tersusun rapi, serasi, dan logis. Menguasai Al-Munasabah sangat penting untuk menghargai keindahan sastra dan kesempurnaan pesan ilahi Al-Qur'an secara utuh. Kata kunci : Munasabah, Qur’an, Ulum Al-quran

Abstract

هذا البحث تعليم قواعد اللغة العربية بأسلوب أنطوان الدحداح فى تكوين فهم وفقرة اللغة العربية فى المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية 3 مالانج. هذا المقصود يعني كيف الأسلوب الذي يستعمل أنطوان الدحداح فى تعليم قواعد اللغة العربية. ومنهج البحث التجريبي. ونتيجة هذا البحث أن تعليم قواعد اللغة العربية بأسلوب أنطوان الدحداح فعالا وأحسن من الطريقة التقليدية في ترقية كفاءة الطلبة في فهم النحو.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas Taj Mahal sebagai simbol cinta dan representasi kemegahan Dinasti Mughal dalam peradaban Islam di Asia Selatan. Dinasti Mughal, yang mencapai puncak kejayaan pada abad ke-16 hingga ke-18, meninggalkan warisan seni dan arsitektur yang mencerminkan integrasi tradisi Persia, Islam, dan India. Mengungkap makna Taj Mahal sebagai simbol cinta abadi Kaisar Shah Jahan terhadap Mumtaz Mahal sekaligus sebagai manifestasi kekayaan budaya dan spiritualitas Islam. Penelitian dilakukan  melalui kajian literatur mendalam terkait sejarah, desain arsitektur, dan nilai simbolis bangunan. Menunjukkan bahwa Taj Mahal tidak hanya menjadi lambang cinta, tetapi juga cerminan kekuatan politik, spiritualitas, dan keindahan seni arsitektur Mughal. Taj Mahal tetap menjadi ikon global warisan budaya Islam yang abadi, yang merepresentasikan harmoni seni dan nilai spiritual hingga saat ini.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is an experimental study which aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing grammatical and translation methods through a student-centered approach to improve reading skills in teaching Arabic for eleventh grade students at Nurul Falah Senior High School (SMA) Pekanbaru Riau. The formulation of the problem in this research is "Was The Effectiveness Implementation of Grammar and Translation Methods Using a Student Centered Approach Effective for Improving Reading Skills in Teaching Arabic to Eleventh Grade Students at Nurul Falah Senior High School (SMA) Pekanbaru Riau?". This research starts from designing learning steps, implementation, observation and tests. The population of this study was all students in class XI of Nurul Falah High School for the academic year of 2023/2024, with a sample of students in class The subjects of this research were teachers and students in class XI A and class XI B at Nurul Falah High School. The object of the research is to improve reading skills in learning Arabic for eleventh grade students at the Nurul Falah Senior High School (SMA) Pekanbaru Riau. The instruments used to collect data in this research consisted of observations and tests. From the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the application of grammatical and translation methods through a student-centered approach is effective in improving reading skills in teaching Arabic to eleventh grade students at Nurul Falah Senior High School (SMA) Pekanbaru Riau because the value tobserved = 6.660 is greater than ttabel = at a significance level of 1% = 2.705 and a significance level of 5% = 2.022, this means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In the observation table, a score of 94% is obtained, which means "very good" because it is in the range 81%-100%. In other words, the application of grammatical and translation methods through a student-centered approach is effective in improving reading skills in learning Arabic for eleventh grade students at Nurul Falah Senior High School (SMA) Pekanbaru, Riau. Keywords:  Application, Grammar and Translation Methods,   Student                    Centered Approach,     ReadingSkills.

Abstract

Abstrac: This research aimed at finding out the influence of reward and punishment toward student muhadatsah yaumiyyah motivation partially and simultaneously at Islamic Boarding School of Ar-Royyan Al-Islami.  It was a quantitative research, and it was associated with the samples that were 75 respondents.  The instrument was in the form of questionnaire with Likert scale, and its validity and reliability were tested.  The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression.  The research finding showed that (1) there was a significant influence of reward toward student motivation for muhadatsah yaumiyyah based the significance score 0.004 lower than 0.005 and the score of tobserved 2.948 higher than 1.665, (2) there was there was a significant influence of punishment toward student motivation for muhadatsah yaumiyyah based the significance score 0.000 lower than 0.005 and the score of tobserved 34.389 higher than 1.665, and (3) there was a significant influence of reward and punishment toward student motivation for muhadatsah yaumiyyah based the significance score 0.000 lower than 0.005 and the score of Fobserved 600.793 higher than Ftable 3.124.  Based on the determination result, reward and punishment influenced student motivation for muhadatsah yaumiyyah 54%, and the rest 46% was influenced by other variables that were not studied in this research.Keywords: Reward and Punishment, Motivation, Muhadatsah Yaumiyyah

Abstract

ملخّصيهدف هذا البحث إلى تقويم كتاب تعليم اللغة العربية للصف الأول في المدرسة الإبتدائية تحفيظ أهل القرآن كمبار. لتحقيق هذا الهدفتم معايير للوقوف على مدى مراعاة كتاب تعليم اللغة العربية للصف الأول في المدرسة الإبتدائية تحفيظ أهل القرآن كمبار، وفقا للمعايير المبنة على أساسها، مستخدما أسلوب تحليل وتقميها.أما نوع البحث فمن تحليل المضموم (Content Analysis)، أما المدخل المستخدم  فهو البحث الكيفية. وطربقة تحليل البيانات تتكون من مرحلتين أساسيتين هما تحليل المواد التعليمية هذه المرحلة هي المرحلة في دراسة تقويم المواد التعليمية وتقويم المواد التعليمية. قد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها ما يالي:1)   إن هذا الكتاب صالح للاستخدام لكنه لم يستوف على بعض الأسس والمعايير من حيث المحتويات اللغوية والثقافية والتربوية.2)   أن محتويات كتاب تعليم اللغة العربية للصف الأول في المدرسة الإبتدائية تحفيظ أهل القرآن كمبار لم تتوفر معظم المعايير والأساس العامة في تأليف الكتاب الجيد لتعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناظقين بها.3)   من جداول درجات التقويم السابقة تجد الباحثة كثير درجة ناقص هي 66 من 164 بالنسبة المؤية 40،2% وكذلك درجة ناقص جدا هي 5 من 164 بالنسبة المؤية 3،0 % ، بمعنى أن لهذا الكتاب ضعيفا.

Abstract

AbstractThe impetus for this research was a phenomenon that the researcher found about the differences in the results of Arabic language learning for students of the Muhammadiyah High School in Pekanbaru after applying online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim of this research is to find out the comparison between the results of learning Arabic for students who learn online with those who learn face to face. This research is quantitative with an experimental type of research. The population of this research are all students of the Muhammadiyah High School in Pekanbaru. Random sampling method was taken, which was taken from the tenth class of natural sciences and the tenth class of social sciences, where the tenth class of natural sciences was classified as an experimental class and the tenth class of social sciences as a control class. After conducting the pre- and post-test in the experimental and control classes, the results of this research showed that the results of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test in the experimental class showed that sig. > α0.05, that is, 0.069 > 0.05 so that the data were normally distributed, and the control class showed that sig. > α0.05, is 0.879 > 0.05 so that the data were also normally distributed. The statistical test for thitung< ttabel shows 1,204 < 1,734, then H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the results of learning Arabic for students who learn online with students who learn face to face at Muhammadiyah Higher School of Pekanbaru.Keywords: Comparative Study, Results Of Learning Arabic, Online Learning, Face-To-Face Learning.ملخصكان الدافع وراء هذا البحث ظاهرة وجدها الباحث حول الاختلافات في نتائج تعلم اللغة العربية لطلاب المدرسة العالية المحمدية ببكنبارو بعد تطبيق التعلم عبر الإنترنت خلال جائحة Covid-19. يهدف هذا البحث هو لمعرفة المقارنة بين نتائج تعلم اللغة العربية للطلاب الذينيتعلمون عبر الإنترنت مع الطلاب الذين يتعلمون وجهًا لوجه. هذا البحث كمي مع نوع البحث التجريبي. مجتمع هذا البحث جميعهم من طلاب المدرسة العالية المحمدية ببكنبارو. تم أخذ أسلوب أخذ العينات عشوائياً (Random Sampling) والذي تم أخذه من الفصل العاشر للعلوم الطبيعية والفصل العاشر للعلوم الإجتماعية حيث تم تصنيف الفصل العاشر للعلوم الطبيعية كفصل تجريبي والفصل العاشر للعلوم الإجتماعية كفصل ضابط. بعد إجراء الاختبار القبلي والبعدي في الفصلين التجريبي والضابط ، أظهرت نتائج هذا البحث أن نتائج اختبار الحالة الطبيعية Kolmogorov-Smirnov في الفصل التجريبي أظهر أن sig.> α0.05 ، أي 0.069> 0.05 لذلك أن البيانات تم توزيعها بشكل طبيعي ، وأظهر الفصل الضابط أن sig.> α0.05 ، أي 0.879> 0.05 بحيث تم أيضًا توزيع البيانات بشكل طبيعي. يُظهر الاختبار الإحصائي لاختبار thitung < ttabel وهو 1.204> 1.734 ، ثم يتم قبول H0 ويتم رفض Ha. لذلك يمكن استنتاج أنه لا يوجد فرق كبير بين نتائج تعلم اللغة العربية للطلاب الذينيتعلمون عبر الإنترنت مع الطلاب الذين يتعلمون وجهًا لوجه في المدرسة العالية المحمدية باكنبارو.كلمات أساسية : دراسة مقارنة ، نتائج تعلم اللغة العربية ، التعلم عبر الإنترنت ، التعلم وجها لوجه.
