Abstract

Gender equality-based health promotion for Family Hope Program (PKH) beneficiaries in Sukoharjo Regency aims to address disparities in healthcare access and awareness. The primary goal is to enhance knowledge and consciousness among PKH recipients, particularly regarding the importance of health maintenance. By achieving this objective, the initiative seeks to reduce preventable illnesses and enhance healthcare accessibility throughout Sukoharjo. Additionally, the program strives to promote gender equality in health-related decision-making, emphasizing the empowerment of women in health matters. The expected outcomes include an increase in health literacy among PKH beneficiaries and a more equitable distribution of healthcare resources. Furthermore, the implementation of gender-aware health promotion is anticipated to contribute to sustainable development goals and community well-being in Sukoharjo Regency Recommendations for future implementation include the development of comprehensive health education modules with a gender perspective and the integration of gender-focused policies into the PKH framework. Abstract

Background: Children who are stunted have a higher risk of experiencing health and brain development disorders, and have a lower likelihood of achievement and a bright future. Spirulina is one of the food sources enriched with nutrients that affect the nutritional status of children. The study aims to discover the effect of the administration of Spirulina Neoalgae supplements on increasing the height and weight of stunting toddlers in Mranggen village. Subjects dan Method: The study used a quasi-experimental design conducted in Mranggen Village, Sukoharjo, Central Java. A total of 100 toddlers selected using total sampling were included in this study. The independent variable in this study was the intervention of Spirulina Neoalgae supplements and the dependent variables in this study were body weight and height. Toddlers were given supplement interventions for 4 weeks. The collected data were subsequently analyzed using the Paired-Test. Results: Before the intervention the average height was (Mean= 82.92; SD = 8.77) and body weight was (Mean= 9.97; SD= 2.09). After the supplement intervention for 2 weeks, the average height was (Mean= 83.56; SD = 8.61) and body weight was (Mean= 10.11; SD= 2.07). Average height (Mean= 84.56; SD= 8.57) and body weight (Mean= 11.04; SD = 2.10) in week four increased and the result was statistically significant (p <0.001). Conclusion: The administration of neoalgae supplements affects increasing height and weight in stunted children in Mranggen Village, Sukoharjo, Central Java.   Keywords: Supplements, Neoalgae, Nutritional Status, Height, Weight, Stunting

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Based on observations made in Slogohimo District, KPM data for 2020 was 1,985 KPM (Family Hope Program), in 2021 it rose 3.58% to 2,056 KPM, and in 2022 it also rose 17.51% to 2,416 KPM. The number of stunted toddlers ranks 3rd in Wonogiri Regency and will reach 13% in 2022 and the maternal mortality rate (MMR) in 2022 will be 11% because the quality of life of the community is still low. The number of pregnant women was 212 people, 115 postpartum mothers and 154 mothers with toddlers. The aim of the research is to describe the implementation, impact and inhibiting and supporting factors of PKH on health components (pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, postpartum mothers, early childhood in Slogohimo District, Wonogiri Regency in 2022. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were 7 informants (PKH coordinators and assistants, posyandu cadres and 4 KPM health components). The research instrument uses interview guides, observation sheets, recording equipment and documentation. The results of the research show that the implementation of the health component of PKH has not gone well because there are still some poor people who do not receive PKH assistance and the distribution of aid funds is often late, so that KPM as aid recipients also experience financial difficulties to meet their daily needs. The positive impact of the program is that it is useful for meeting the needs of KPM, changing behavior and family independence. The negative impact is that KPM becomes dependent on aid and the use of aid is not according to its intended purpose. The advice for PKH actors is to always update data by proposing KPM candidates who meet the requirements to the Social Service so that assistance is provided on target and monitoring in the field to find out that aid funds are spent according to the needs of pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, postpartum mothers and early childhood. Abstract

The Health Belief Model (HBM) helps in understanding health-related behaviors and is used to explore factors that influence the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines. This exploration serves as the basis for designing more effective intervention programs to increase vaccine acceptance, both for COVID-19 and future vaccination programs. This study aims to analyze and estimate the impact of applying the Health Belief Model on the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines. Methods: This study is a meta-analysis using the PICO model. Population: adults. Intervention: high perceived susceptibility, high perceived severity, high perceived benefits. Comparison: low perceived susceptibility, low perceived severity, low perceived benefits. Outcome: acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination. The research data was sourced from Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and PubMed, using keywords “Health Belief Model” AND “HBM” AND “Vaccine COVID-19 Acceptance” OR “Receive” AND “Vaccine COVID-19 Hesitancy”. The inclusion criteria for articles in the meta-analysis were articles published between 2020 and 2022 in English. Analysis was performed using the RevMan 5.4 application. Results: A meta-analysis was conducted on 15 cross-sectional studies from Asia and Europe with a total sample size of 19,814 people. High perceived susceptibility (aOR= 1.28; 95% CI= 1.10 to 1.49; p= 0.001), high perceived severity (aOR= 1.24; 95% CI= 1.04 to 1.48; p= 0.020), and high perceived benefits (aOR= 2.64; 95% CI= 1.73 to 4.02; p<0.001) towards COVID-19 were found to increase the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination, and these results were statistically significant. Conclusion: High perceived susceptibility, high perceived severity, and high perceived benefits towards COVID-19 increase the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination.

Abstract

Pending inpatient claims under Indonesia’s National Health Insurance (BPJS Kesehatan) have become a critical concern for hospital financial management and administrative performance, particularly as hospitals transition to digital claim systems. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of educational interventions and digital innovation in reducing pending BPJS inpatient claims, while providing actionable policy insights to improve hospital claim management. Employing a descriptive quantitative approach, the research utilizes secondary data from all inpatient claim submissions at RS Slamet Riyadi Surakarta for October 2024, complemented by internal audits and stakeholder interviews. The urgency of this study arises from the persistent delays in claim processing, which threaten both hospital cash flow and service sustainability. The findings reveal that inaccurate medical records constitute the most significant factor contributing to claim delays, accounting for 75% of pending cases, followed by incomplete documentation, insufficient supporting examinations, and inadequate therapeutic evidence. Novelty emerges through the systematic prioritization of delay determinants and the application of structured educational interventions and AI-based digital tools to enhance staff competence and verification processes. The research contributes practical recommendations for integrating ongoing education, digital verification, and collaborative policy-making, thereby strengthening the quality, transparency, and efficiency of BPJS inpatient claim management in Indonesian hospitals.
