Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran Jigsaw berbantuan media Pop Up Book dilengkapi  LKS Word Square pada mata pelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang. Peningkatan ranah kognitif siswa yang tuntas pada tahap pra siklus mencapai 28%, siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 69,4 dan jumlah siswa yang tuntas 64% dan tidak tuntas 36%, dan siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 82,8 siswa yang tuntas  mencapai 88% dan tidak tuntas 12%. Pada ranah afektif  tahap siklus I predikat tinggi 5 orang, predikat sedang 15 orang, predikat  rendah 5 orang dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II mencapai 23 orang predikat tinggi, predikat sedang 2 orang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model  Jigsaw Jigsaw berbantuan media Pop Up Book dilengkapi LKS Word Square  untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah Waingapu  berhasil.

Abstract

The Community Service Learning (KKN-T) program conducted by students of Universitas Kristen Wira Wacana Sumba at SD Katolik Londa Lima aims to improve students' literacy and numeracy through creative activities, namely the creation of a knowledge tree and playing congklak. This program aims to address the low literacy and numeracy skills of 4th and 5th-grade students using observation and interview methods. The program involved students in creating a knowledge tree with an environmental theme for 4th grade and a counting theme for 5th grade, as well as the traditional game of congklak to strengthen arithmetic skills. Evaluation results showed an increase in students' interest and ability in literacy and numeracy after the activities were conducted. The activities also created a fun learning atmosphere, improved cognitive skills, and developed students' social skills. The creation of the knowledge tree helped visualize the lesson concepts, while playing congklak trained arithmetic and logical thinking abilities. This program has proven effective in supporting the development of basic competencies in students and promoting the values of literacy and numeracy in daily life. However, there were limitations in terms of time and supporting facilities. In the future, this activity is expected to be implemented sustainably and involve parents in supporting learning at home.

Abstract

Real Work Lectures (KKN) are a form of university students' service to the community through the provision of empowerment assistance, training, counseling, guidance, mentoring and to realize their potential, as well as helping to improve the quality of life and development. Observation was carried out by the following methods: (I) Visiting (2) Questions and answers, (3) Documentation, and (4) Looking at the field directly. The physical group programs are the Village Office Arrangement Program and Introduction, Devotional Work, Mutual Cooperation in the village office and in elementary schools, Procurement of garbage cans and the Making and Installation of RT/RW Planks, Chairmen of BPD, Posyandu, Hamlets (I and 2), Churches and PAUD and Basic Family Data Collection for the creation of village and entrepreneurial profiles. Meanwhile, the non-physical group program is Counseling for Making Chips Business Proposals and training on making chips.  The potential of the community and the environmental conditions are very supportive for the holding of a flagship program which is hoped that this activity can continue with the support of the entire community. Judging from the program, students play the role of facilitators, dynamizers and motivators.  Overall, all work programs were carried out according to plan. The success is seen from the number of participation and support of the Kombapari Village community in all activities. All activities can run well, it is evident from the public opinion in general. Thus, the residents of Kombapari Village can continue to develop their existing potential.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Kambera Sumba Timur adalah memperkenalkan tentang pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Aplikasi Canca. Aplikasi Canva merupakan media dalam mengembangkan potensi baik peserta didik maupun pendidik dalam berpikir kritis, kreatif, apresiatif dan inovatif. Aplikasi Canva adalah program desain online yang menyediakan bermacam peralatan seperti presentasi, resume, poster, pamflet, brosur, grafik, infografis, spanduk, penanda buku, buletin, dan lain sebagainya yang disediakan dalam aplikasi Canva. Metode pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Aplikasi Canva ini adalah dengan ceramah bervariasi, demonstrasi dan pelatihan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari PKM ini adalah guru-guru di SMA Negeri 1 Kambera menjadi tahu tentang aplikasi Canva dan manfaatnya, dapat membuat materi pembelajaran yang menarik dengan aplikasi Canva dan juga jadi bisa menghemat waktu dalam membuat media pembelajaran.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Mahu. The low learning outcomes can be influenced by the use of inappropriate learning models. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of a jigsaw cooperative learning model with a research approach using quantitative descriptive research on Environmental Pollution which includes understanding, characteristics, and ways to deal with pollution and environmental damage. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques using tests and observations. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. Learning outcomes are focused on cognitive and affective domains. The results of this study indicate that the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes in the cognitive domain increased by 30% and the affective domain by 23%. The conclusion is that the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Mahu on environmental pollution.Keywords: learning model, cooperative, jigsaw, learning outcomes

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, learning became ineffective, students felt bored and did not understand the material provided and teachers still used active lectures duringmeetings offline. This has an impact on students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to determine the effect of Blended Learning -assisted Google Classroom on students' critical thinking skills on protist material. This type of research is experimental research using Quasi Experimental Design. The design used is the Noneequivalent Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques used in this study consisted of tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The population in this study were all students of SMA Negeri I Pandawai. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The research sample consisted of 2 classes, one class as the experimental class (X IPA I) and the control class (X IPA 2). Based on the results of thet test analysis independently, critical thinking skills show the value of Sig.(2tailed) 0.025 <0.05 thenH0 is rejected and H1 accepted. This means that there is an effect of themodel Blended Learning assisted Google Classroom- on the critical thinking skills of class X science students on protist material at SMA Negeri I Pandawai

Abstract

The research presented a comparison analysis of the effectiveness of microteaching and PLP 2 in developing teaching skills for biology education students. Microteaching, a commonly used method in higher education, involves simulated teaching sessions where students receive feedback from peers and instructors. On the other hand, PLP 2 offers practical teaching experience in a school environment, providing real challenges and interaction with students in the classroom. This research evaluates and compares how both methods contribute to improving teaching competencies. The main findings indicate that while microteaching focuses on pedagogical techniques and classroom management, PLP 2 emphasizes adaptability to various learning environments and student engagement strategies. The study concludes that integrating both approaches into teacher education programs can better prepare aspiring educators with the comprehensive skills to teach in diverse educational contexts

Abstract

Improving student learning outcomes remains a crucial issue in secondary education, particularly when traditional learning approaches are less effective in fostering active participation and deeper understanding. To address this challenge, this study aimed to describe the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type cooperative learning model assisted by leaflet media and equipped with Word Square worksheets (LKPD) in improving student learning outcomes. This research was conducted as classroom action research (CAR) through two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The population of the study was class XI students of a private Madrasah Aliyah, with a sample of 20 students selected as research subjects. Data were collected through tests to measure cognitive outcomes, observation sheets to assess affective outcomes, and documentation to support validity. The data were analyzed using descriptive comparative techniques by comparing learning outcomes between cycles I and II. The success indicators were set at ?80% of students achieving the minimum mastery criteria and an increase in the number of students achieving “good” or “very good” affective scores. The results showed that cognitive learning outcomes increased from 80% mastery in cycle I to 95% in cycle II. Affective outcomes also improved, with students obtaining very good and good categories increasing from 10 and 5 in cycle I to 13 and 4 in cycle II, respectively, while the number of students in the “less” category decreased. In conclusion, the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by leaflet media and Word Square worksheets effectively improved both cognitive and affective learning outcomes of class XI students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi bagaimana menerapkan media ensiklopedia LKPD dengan model pembelajaran NHT terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Riset ini bertujuan buat membagikan cerminan merata tentang gimana model pendidikan kooperatif jenis Numbered Heads Together berbantuan media ensiklopedia dilengkapi LKPD Ular Tangga, dan mendeskripsikan kenaikan hasil belajar siswa sehabis mempraktikkan model serta media pendidikan tersebut. Riset ini ialah Riset Aksi Kelas( PTK) dengan memakai pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam riset ini merupakan siswa kelas VIIB SMPN Satap Padammu. Instrumen yang digunakan buat mengumpulkan informasi meliputi lembar observasi serta uji secara tertulis. Hasil riset menampilkan terdapatnya kenaikan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar kognitif, dari 28% pada prasiklus bertambah jadi 61% pada siklus I, serta setelah itu bertambah lagi jadi 85% pada siklus II. Sedangkan itu, hasil belajar afektif pula hadapi kenaikan, dari 66, 66% pada siklus I, serta menggapai 100% pada siklus II. Oleh sebab itu, bisa disimpulkan kalau pelaksanaan model pendidikan kooperatif jenis Numbered Heads Together berbantuan media ensiklopedia dilengkapi LKPD Ular Tangga bisa tingkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIIB di SMPN Satap Padammu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes after using problem-based learning models assisted by smart box media and domino cards. The results of this study indicate that the application of problem-oriented learning methods, known as Problem Based Learning, combined with tools such as smart boxes and domino cards, can improve students' academic achievement, especially in the material on the earth and the solar system. The cause of this study is the low academic results of students caused by the selection of inappropriate methods. This study uses a classroom action method that is carried out in two cycles through four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed a significant increase in learning outcomes after the application of problem-based learning methods using smart box media and domino cards. In the cognitive aspect, in the pre-cycle, only 22.58% of students met the minimum completion standard, while in cycle I, the percentage increased to 38.30%, and in cycle II, the number of students who achieved completion jumped to 90.33%. In the affective aspect, in the pre-cycle, there were 16.12% of students who achieved completion, this figure increased to 70.97% in cycle I, and in cycle II increased again to 90.55%. Therefore, the results of this study indicate that the use of problem-focused learning models supported by smart box media and domino cards has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, both in terms of cognitive and affective aspects.
