Abstract

The DANA application is a payment system service that can be used via a smartphone, which can be in the form of fund transfers, electronic wallets, electronic money and other supporting services. User satisfaction with the application is very important, because it can be used as an assessment material for improving the service quality of the application. By combining two methods, namely the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which contains the variables Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use and Attitude Toward Using and End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) which contains the variables Content, Accuracy, Format, Ease of Use and Timeliness to measure application user satisfaction DANA is the aim of this research. The technique that will be used to collect data is by distributing questionnaires to DANA application users. Through lameshow calculations, there were 100 respondents in this study. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, there are 6 hypotheses that are accepted, namely Perceived Usefulness, Content, Accuracy, Format, Ease of Use and Attitude Toward Using and 2 hypotheses are rejected, namely Perceived Ease of Use and Timeliness. The results obtained through SEM analysis are classified as good with an R-Square correlation value of 75.2% for user satisfaction variables.

Abstract

Extensive reading has been continuously studied as a promising instructional method for improving students’ language proficiency, including reading proficiency, vocabulary acquisition, and grammar awareness. However, this practice still presents many challenges due to several factors. hence, this paper aims to critically review students’ extensive reading through problem-based learning with digital media in learning English. The present study is a meta–analysis by focusing on the Students’ Extensive Reading used digital media in learning English: problem-based learning. This study used 15 articles related to students’ extensive reading, digital media and problem-based learning (PBL). It was revealed that the implementation of digital extensive reading through those various digital or online platforms has been proven to be useful in supporting the success of EFL students’ digital extensive reading activities as well as the success of EFL students’ language learning. By using PBL showed that there are differences in the subjects’ advanced reading proficiency level as well as an increase in empathy soft skill before and after the implementation of the learning method. The integration of digital media and problem-based learning in extensive reading ushers in a new and significant era of English education. It makes the students to develop as independent learners who can successfully negotiate the complexity of the global language in improving their language proficiency. Abstract

Aplikasi Dana merupakan suatu layanan keuangan digital yang memberikan kemudahan kepada penggunanya. Terdapat respon negatif pada aplikasi Dana yaitu, Pengguna mengeluh bahwa untuk mengupgrade akun premium sangat sulit, dan juga terjadi kehilangan saldo secara tiba-tiba. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode HEART Metrics sebagai pengukurusan pengalaman pengguna . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengalaman pengguna aplikasi Dana berdasarkan pengalaman pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada variabel Happiness mendapatkan nilai sebesar 0,787 status tercapai, Engagement mendapatkan nilai 0,665 status tidak tercapai dan perlu perbaikan, Adopsi mendapatkan nilai 0,787 status tercapai, Retention mendapatkan nilai 0,742 status tercapai, Task Success mendapatkan nilai 0,756 dengan status tercapai. Perlu dilakukan perbaikan atau peningkatan terhadap variabel Engagement agar mendapatkan nilai yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to investigate the strategies used by English teachers to train students' critical thinking skills and to investigate the most dominant strategy used by English teachers to train students' critical thinking skills at SMAN 1 Bengkulu Utara. The design of this research was a descriptive qualitative research. The population of this research were three English teachers who teach English at SMAN 1 Bengkulu Utara. The English teachers were qualified as professional teachers who have been taught English for more than five years. All of the population above became the sample of this research. In order to collect the data for this study, the researcher employed observation checklist and interview as the instruments of this research. The instruments of this research were designed by theory of Bean (2011) who divided nine strategies in critical thinking, namely; the problem-posing strategy, the frame strategy, the question-generating strategy, the believing and doubting strategy, the evidence-finding strategy, the case strategy, the norming session strategy, the “rough draft workshop” strategy, and the metacognitive strategy. This research found that the teachers implemented six strategies. All of the teachers implemented The Problem-Posing Startegy, the Question-Generating Strategy, The Believing And Doubting Strategy, and The Evidence-Finding Strategy. Thirty three percent of the norming session strategy and the metacognive strategy. There was no teacher who implemented the frame strategy, the case strategy, and the “Rough Draft Workshop” strategy. Moreover, the dominant startegies implemented by the teachers to train students’ critical thinking were the Problem-Posing Startegy, the Question-Generating Strategy, the Believing And Doubting Strategy, and the Evidence-Finding Strategy. Abstract

The role of social media is increasingly important and easily accessible through mobile phones, slowly replacing conventional mass media. The development of Internet technology has made many users forget the importance of cybersecurity awareness, which impacts social media activities. As a result, cyber-attacks on social networks are now more frequent because many users still need help understanding cybersecurity well. Based on data BSSN, cyberattacks in Indonesia increased significantly from 290.3 million in 2019 to 495.3 million in 2020, representing a 41% rise. Social media users need to understand cybersecurity, a technology that protects data, networks, and programs from illegal access or digital attacks, known as cybercrime. Eighty-four respondents participated in the study. This study aims to measure the level of cybersecurity awareness and contribute to the existing literature by providing empirical insights into the level of cybersecurity awareness among university students. This study can also help raise awareness among the public, particularly young users, about the importance of protecting privacy and security while engaging in the digital world. This behaviour is measured using the five TPB variables: attitude, subjective form, perceived behaviour control, intention, and behaviour. Variables from TPB are then processed using SEM-PLS tools with the help of SmartPLS. Based on the study's results, it is concluded that the attitude and subjective form variables do not significantly affect the intention variable. In contrast, the perceived behaviour control variable significantly affects the intention variable, and the behaviour variable significantly affects intention.

Abstract

Instagram as a social media platform has opened new opportunities for businesses to market their products creatively and efficiently. Through interactive features such as the comments section, users can express their opinions about the products or services offered. These comments contain sentiments that can be analyzed to understand customer perceptions. This study aims to measure customer retention using sentiment analysis of Instagram user comments. The comment data was collected using web scraping techniques from the Instagram page, followed by labeling using a lexicon-based approach and sentiment classification into positive, negative, and neutral categories through sentiment analysis. This analysis is linked to the concept of customer retention, which is an important strategy for maintaining long-term relationships with consumers. Furthermore, the results of customer retention analysis in this study show that positive sentiment has a retention rate of 53.4% (303 out of 567 comments), neutral sentiment 6.9% (45 out of 650 comments), and negative sentiment 15.1% (22 out of 146 comments). Overall, 370 out of 1,363 comments, or 27.1%, were categorized as contributing to retention. In terms of the proportion of sentiment contributing to total retention, positive comments dominate with 81.9% (303 out of 370). These findings suggest that although neutral comments are the most frequent, positive sentiment contributes the most to customer retention. This indicates that positive sentiment is a strong predictor of customer loyalty, highlighting the importance for companies to foster positive experiences through quality products, reliable services, and active engagement on social media. Insyira is capable of maintaining customer retention, especially from those who express positive sentiment, which reflects satisfaction with its products, services, and interactions on social media

Abstract

The objective of the research was to investigate the teachers' perception toward the English teaching material at Elementary schools in Bengkulu City. The population of the research was English teachers at Elementary schools in Bengkulu City. This research employed total sampling technique. The instrument used questionnaire. The result of the research showed that (1) teachers' perception toward the English teaching material in Reading, students' reading resources were from English textbooks 59%, English comic for children 70%, English story for children 90%. (2) Teachers' perception in writing: students had to be able to write short sentences 75%. Teachers' perception in speaking: English conversation was dominant 90%. Teachers' perception in listening: English song for children 95%, English short story 95%. (5) Teachers' perception in teaching and supporting media: pictures 85%, (b) textbooks 95%, worksheet 95%, tape recorder 85%, English dictionary 95%, English magazines 85%, English laboratory 85%. Teachers' perception in language components: vocabulary 90%, grammar 95%, pronunciation 75%. Reading, writing, listening, speaking and language components had to be taught at Elementary school students, and teaching and supporting media were needed by the students.

Abstract

This study was aimed to investigate how collaborative writing improved students’ writing skill. The research subject was class A of third semester students at Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu. This research was qualitative research which focused on classroom action research (CAR). The data were collected from field note, observation checklist, students’ final draft analysis and by recording the whole process of classroom action research, either before or during the implementation of the actions. The finding of the research indicated: (1)The collaborative writing had been effectively improved students’ writing skill particularly in writing anessay. (2) The collaborative writing is very feasible to be implemented in teaching writing. Finally, the reseacher suggested that there should be some other reseachers conducting some researches about the collaborative technique to enhance students’ other language skills.

Abstract

Social media, especially Instagram, has transformed how businesses interact with customers and market products. However, there remains a literature gap regarding customer acquisition measurement through sentiment analysis of Instagram comments. This research aims to measure customer acquisition at Insyira Oleh-Oleh Pekanbaru by analyzing 1,363 comments from May 2024 to May 2025 using Python-based Natural Language Processing (NLP). The results show neutral sentiment dominates (47.7%) with the highest acquisition rate (50.9%) - meaning every 2 neutral comments yield 1 acquisition - compared to positive (37.7%) and negative comments (41.8%). The Chi-square test confirms the significant relationship between sentiment and acquisition (?²=21.78; p<0.0001), while (OR=0.58; CI[0.46,0.73]) indicates positive comments have 42% lower acquisition probability than neutral ones, forming triangular consistency that eliminates doubts. Negative sentiment also yields higher acquisition than positive sentiment, challenging the assumption that positive comments are most effective for acquisition. This reveals neutral comments containing product inquiries have greater acquisition potential. The study provides new insights for digital marketing strategy, emphasizing the importance of quick responses to neutral comments to enhance new customer conversion.

Abstract

Puskesmas in Indonesia are responsible for providing primary health services to the local community. The Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) in Indonesia utilise e-Puskesmas, a web-based system that enables electronic data management and patient services. The newest version, e-Puskesmas Next Generation (NG), was made to allow online interactions, but it has had some technical problems, including duplicate medical data and wrong medication dosages because it doesn't have an allergy detection feature. The UEQ method will be used to rate the user experience of e-Puskesmas. The UEQ measures six factors: attractiveness, efficiency, perspicuity, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Twenty-one people participated in the evaluation, and the results show that all variables were close to neutral. This means that using the system doesn't make people very happy or sad, but instead stays at an average level. This study confirms that, although e-Puskesmas has the potential to be an effective tool, there is still significant room for improvement, especially in terms of feature customisation and user interface. The "poor" score in the benchmark evaluation indicates that significant improvements in the system's design and functionality are necessary to enhance user satisfaction and healthcare service efficiency. It is hoped that these findings can encourage further development that addresses the existing shortcomings and effectively improves the management of health services at the community health centre
