Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui potensi biomassa, cadangan karbon dan serapan karbondioksida (CO2) pada hutan Pendidikan Universitas muhammadiyah Makassar Desa Bissoloro Kabupaten Gowa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling, yang didasarkan pada tutupan lahan hutan Pendidikan Unismuh Makassar di Desa Bissoloro. Jumlah plot yang dibuat adalah masing-masing 3 plot pada setiap penutupan lahan. Ukuran plot yang dibuat adalah 20m x 20m untuk pengukuran tingkat pohon, di dalam plot tersebut dibuat sub plot untuk pengukuran tingkat tiang dengan ukuran 10 m x 10 m, tingkat pancang 5 m x 5 m, dan tingkat semai (tumbuhan bawah dan serasah) dengan ukuuran 2 m x 2 m  Biomassa pohon tiang dan pancang dihitung dengan menggunakan persamaan allometrik sedangkan seasah dan tumbuhan bawah didasarkan pada konversi biomassa dari kadar airnya. Biomassa akar yaitu dengan menggunakan nilai terpasang (default value) nisbah biomassa atas : biomassa bawah (akar), sesuai iklim lokasi penelitian yaitu 4:1 (SNI 7724, 2011). Pengukuran cadangan karbon dilakukan dengan mengalikan biomassa dengan angka konversi 0.47 (47%). Serapan CO2 dihitung dengan mengalikan rata-rata pertumbuhan tahunan biomassa  dengan angka konversi 1,4667 yang diperoleh dari persamaan fotosisntesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biomassa rata-rata pada Kebun Raya Massenrempulu Enrekang pada kelas penutupan lahan hutan campuran, semak belukar dan padang rumput berturut-turut 192,23 Ton/ha; 16,68 Ton/ha;  13,62 Ton/ha. Cadangan karbon rata-rata pada Kebun Raya Massenrempulu Enrekang pada kelas penutupan lahan hutan campuran, semak belukar, dan padang rumput berturut-turut 90,31 Ton/ha; 7,82 Ton/ha; 6,37 Ton/ha. Serapan karbon dioksida rata-rata pada Kebun Raya Massenrempulu Enrekang pada kelas penutupan lahan hutan campuran, semak belukar, dan padang rumput berturut-turut 24,03 Ton/ha per tahun; 5,7 Ton/ha per tahun; 5,07 Ton/ha per tahun. Kata kunci:biomassa, cadangan karbon, serapan CO2, perubahan iklim, kebun raya Massenrempulu Enrekang

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pendapatan dan kontribusi pendapatan petani hutan bambu rakyat di Kecamatan Tanralili, Kab. Maros. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quisioner sedangkan alat yang digunakan adalah kamera dan alat tulis menulis. Penentuan responden dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Responden penelitian ini adalah petani hutan bambu rakyat Di Kecamatan Tanralili, Kab. Maros. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri atas data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer adalah data yang langsung diperoleh dari lapangan melalui observasi dan wawancara berstruktur dengan menggunakan kuisioner kepada responden sebagai unit analisis. Data yang diambil meliputi karakteristik petani hutan bambu rakyat (usia, jenis kelamin, agama, suku, pekerjaan utama, pekerjaan sampingan, jumlah anggota dan tanggungan keluarga) serta komponen penerimaan dan biaya dari usaha bambu. Data sekunder diperoleh dari  instansi terkait, laporan penelitian, literatur, karya ilmiah, dokumentasi maupun informasi lainnya yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: wawancara berstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber daya manusia petani hutan bambu rakyat di Kecamatan Tanralili tergolong rendah dengan tingkat pendidikan yang sangat rendah dimana 69.70% paling tinggi hanya menyelesaikan pendidikan sekolah dasar (SD), pada umumnya petani termasuk ke dalam kelompok usia produktif (14-64 tahun) yaitu sekitar 78.79% dengan persentase tanggungan keluarga sekitar 47.5%. Pendapatan total bambu yang diusahakan oleh petani hutan bambu rakyat adalah adalah Rp. 6,621,787.88/KK per tahun atau Rp. 13,243,575.76/ha per tahun. Produk bambu yang paling banyak berkontribusi terhadap pendapatan masyarakat dari usaha bambu adalah bambu bulat yaitu sekitar 81.28%, kemudian tusuk sate dan anyaman sekitar 10.33%, meubel sekitar 7.25% dan rebung sekitar 1.13%. Persentase kontribusi pendapat dari usaha bambuter hadap pendapatan total berkisar antara 6.86 sampai dengan 94.05% dengan rata-rata 60.35%.Kata Kunci: Hutan Bambu Rakyat, Bambu, Analisis Pendapatan, Petani Hutan

Abstract

Research on anger management has been widely carried out, especially in Indonesia, so it is necessary to re-evaluate the psychometric characteristics of the anger management scale made by researchers using the Rasch model method. This study aims to analyze the psychometric characteristics of the anger management scale which is used to measure students' ability to manage anger emotions using the Rasch model approach. Respondents in this study were 103 respondents consisting of 35 men and 68 women with an age range of 15-19 years. This study shows that the discriminatory power of items ranges from 0.57 to 0.72. This study also shows that there are three items that are invalid in terms of the validity of the content of the anger management scale, and are classified as valid in terms of construct validity and rating scales which indicate that the answer choices given are understandable and can be differentiated by research respondents. This study also shows that the overall anger management scale is relatively reliable (α = 0.89). Therefore, the anger management scale has good quality psychometric properties and is in accordance with the Rasch model.

Abstract

Employee engagement can generate benefits for the organization and lead to positive work outcomes. However, sometimes the application of organizational politics can affect performance. Thus, meaningful work is needed for employees. The aim of this research is to examine the role of meaningful work mediation on the influence of political organizations on employee engagement. This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional survey design. The sample of this research is 317 employees obtained using convenience sampling technique. The scale in this study consists of employee engagement, meaningful work, and political organizations using a five-point Likert model. The results obtained in this study are significant meaningful work mediating the influence of political organizations on employee engagement. This study contributes as reference material in implementing interventions to increase employee engagement in order to gain benefits for the organization.Keterlibatan karyawan dapat menghasilkan manfaat bagi organisasi dan mengarah pada hasil kerja yang positif. Namun, terkadang penerapan politik organisasi dapat mempengaruhi kinerja. Sehingga, diperlukan kebermaknaan kerja bagi para karyawan. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian yaitu menguji peran mediasi meaningful work pada pengaruh political organizations terhadap employee engagement. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain survei cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 317 karyawan yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Skala dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari skala employee engagement, meaningful work, dan political organizations dengan menggunakan model likert lima point. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu meaningful work signifikan memediasi pengaruh political organizations terhadap employee engagement. Studi ini berkontribusi sebagai bahan referensi dalam menerapkan intervensi untuk meningkatkan employee engagement guna memperoleh keuntungan bagi organisasi.

Abstract

Employees are expected to achieve optimal task performance. Therefore, workplace well-being is crucial for employees to enhance their work engagement and, consequently, reach high task performance. This study aims to examine the mediating role of work engagement in the relationship between workplace well-being and task performance. Utilizing a quantitative survey method, the research involved 310 employees selected through convenience sampling. The instruments used in the study included scales for workplace well-being, work engagement, and task performance. The results revealed that work engagement significantly mediates the effect of workplace well-being on employee task performance. These findings provide a basis for developing theoretical models of task performance and formulating training programs to enhance employee task performance, particularly in the field of applied psychology.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of development from childhood to adulthood, which involves increasingly mature emotional development, especially when given appropriate parenting.The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of democratic parenting on the emotional maturity of late adolescents. Respondents in this study were 245 people with a dominant to very dominant democratic parenting pattern. The significance based on exponential regression analysis is 0.000, meaning that there is an influence between democratic parenting and emotional maturity. Based on the R Square value or the coefficient of determination, a value of 0,403 is obtained. Therefore, democratic parentinghas a contribution of 40.3% on the emotional maturity of late adolescents, and the other 59.7% is influenced by other factors outside of democratic parenting. The results of data analysis using exponential regression analysis which shows an R value of 0.635. Thus it can be seen that democratic parenting and emotional maturity have a strong correlation coefficient. The implication of this research is that it can make a contribution to the scienceof developmental psychology, especially in the emotional development of adolescents and the provision of proper and appropriate parenting to children.

Abstract

Learning motivation is the impetus that arises from within individuals to learn. Learning motivation is one of the important factors that individuals must possess in their efforts to achieve good learning outcomes. One of the factors that influences learning motivation is usage. This study aims to determine the effect of smartphone usage intensity on high school students' learning motivation. This study uses a quantitative regression approach. The respondents in this study were 196 students of grade XI at SMA Negeri 2 Pinrang (n=196, 49 males and 147 females). The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The results of the study indicate that there is no significance between smartphone usage intensity and high school students' learning motivation (p: X to Y1 = 0.205. X to Y2 = 0.181. X to Y3 = 0.384), which means there is no influence between smartphone usage intensity and intrinsic, extrinsic, and amotivation motivation in students. In this case, smartphone usage intensity is not significant in the process of whether learning motivation emerges or not in students. The implications of this study show differences in results compared to previous studies that stated an influence between smartphone usage and students' learning motivation. This study is expected to serve as a basis for further researchers who investigate similar variables.

Abstract

Online learning systems are currently the primary approach to delivering information and facilitating learning for postgraduate students, replacing traditional in-person methods in many contexts. To succeed academically in this environment, students must adapt to these systems, a process heavily influenced by personal attributes such as grit and self-efficacy. These factors play a crucial role in helping students navigate the unique challenges of online learning, including increased workloads and technological demands. This study examines the role of academic self-efficacy in mediating the influence of grit and moderating the influence of academic stress on academic achievement. The study approach is quantitative, employing a simple random sampling technique with data collection through a online questionnaire. The data analysis methods include descriptive statistical analysis, Pearson correlation, and structural equation modeling (SEM). The participants were 382 Master’s students, consisting of 131 men (34.3%) and 251 women (65.7%), with an age range of 22-28 years. Most participants belonged to the Makassar ethnic group (33.0%), with the remaining 67.0% comprising individuals from various other ethnic groups, both within and outside South Sulawesi. The results show an average academic self-efficacy score of 3.36 (SD = 1.08). The findings indicate that academic self-efficacy functions as a perfect mediator in the effect of grit on academic achievement (β= .130; t = 6.366 > 1.96) and as a moderator in the effect of academic stress on academic achievement (β = .027; t = 5.850 > 1.96). Therefore, academic self-efficacy is a major psychological resource that drives academic performance, with the structural model explaining 72.4% of the variability in academic achievement. The study implications support the development of a theoretical model as a basis for implementing programs to improve academic self-efficacy and support students’ academic performance in an online environment.

Abstract

Helicopter parenting is one of the kinds of patterns of parental care in which parents are involved in the lives of their children often overly. This pattern of caring can lead to interpersonal conflict in children as a result of the negative impact. Especially in early adulthood looking for self-identity. The study responded to as many as two people who were 18-25 years old and felt helicopter parenting. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The study aims to find out the dynamics of interpersonal conflict in early adulthood with parenting helicopters. Data collection using semi-structured interview techniques that are structured based on domains on parenting helicopters and interpersonal conflicts. Research results on the dynamics of interpersonal conflict in early adulthood with parenting helicopters have shown a range of significant impacts.
