Abstract

This study aims to analyze indicators of marriage readiness for late adolescents in South Sulawesi. This study used a survey research design using a questionnaire. The research subjects were 860 adolescents aged 15-20 years who came from various levels of education, namely SMA (46.1%) SMK (4%) and undergraduate students (45.5%). The results showed that there are several indicators of marriage readiness in late adolescence. They are (1) economic stability by 51% (2) high education by 22.5%, (3) character adjustment with a partner by 35.6%, (4) parental consent by 26%. In terms of readiness for marriage, about 65.6% of adolescents stated they were not ready to marry, 23.6% were less ready to marry, 5.5% were quite ready, 5.1% were ready, and only 2.5% of them stated they were very ready to marry. In terms of the preparation needed to live a harmonious marriage, (1) communication skills by 59.9%, (2) skills in educating and caring for children 47.9%, (3) work 46.7%, and (4) emotional management 34.5%. While the things that concern adolescents from marriage are 67.5% infidelity, 60.9% being abused, dumped/ignored 45.3%, economically pressured 40.1%, and 29.8% not getting freedom. The implication of this study is to increase the knowledge of related parties, both parents, the community, and the government regarding the description of marriage readiness in late adolescence as material for providing premarital preparation/premarital education to adolescents so that late teens can prepare themselves to fulfill early adult development, namely choosing a partner and marry.

Abstract

Abstrak – Pernikahan dini akibat perilaku seksual anak jalanan sering terjadi. Tidak adanya Pendidikan seks yang diterima membuat anak jalanan tidak peduli dengan risiko seks bebas dan mengulang perilaku seks tersebut. Psikoedukasi perilaku seksual berisiko pada anak jalanan merupakan program yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk penanganan perlindungan keselamatan anak jalanan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini memberikan edukasi pada anak jalanan terkait sperilaku seksual beresiko. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan pemahaman anak-anak jalanan melalui gambar, video dan simulasi. Pelaksanaan PKM ini di berikan kepada anak jalanan di Kota pare-pare. Melalui kegiatan ini peserta mendapatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan terkait perilaku seksual beresiko. Psikoedukasi perilaku seksual berisiko diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman anak jalanan di kota Parepare agar tidak mudah terjebak dalam perilaku seksual yang berujung seks bebas dan risiko terkena penyakit infeksi kelamin, HIV/AIDS. Selain itu pendidikan seks yang diberikan dapat menjadi kontrol dari lingkungan yang melibatkan komunitas anak jalanan di kota Parepare.Kata kunci: Perilaku Seksual Berisiko, Anak Jalanan

Abstract

Abstract. Family conflicts with the elderly are a significant issue that requires attention. This research aims to provide a picture of the conflicts that commonly occur in families with the elderly. A search for relevant articles was conducted using the keywords: "Family conflicts with the elderly," "Causes of family conflicts with the elderly," and "Strategies for resolving family conflicts with the elderly." A total of 20 journals were obtained from Google Scholar and reviewed systematically using the Metasynthesis Qualitative Research method. The findings revealed that the causes of conflicts can be categorized into three main factors: fatigue in caring for the elderly, generational gaps between the elderly and their families, and differences in perceptions of care and needs between the elderly and their families. Additionally, two strategies were suggested for resolving family conflicts with the elderly: providing care training to families and using coping strategies by families. The results of this research are expected to serve as a basis for policy-making and intervention to improve the well-being of families with the elderly.Keywords: Family, Elderly, Conflict

Abstract

Ketahanan keluarga adalah kemampuan anggota keluarga untuk bertahan serta beradaptasi terhadap kondisi yang dinamis sehingga tercipta kesejahteraan dalam keluarga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah agar komunikasi pasangan suami dan istri lebih terbuka dan saling memahami tentang diri dan hubungan yang mereka jalani tanpa adanya pengabaian atau perasaan tidak nyaman. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif melalui intervensi I-Message. Data dianalisis menggunakan salah satu model Spradley yaitu analisis dominan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasangan suami dan istri lebih terbuka dan memahami perasaan, penyebab konflik diantara mereka dan keinginan mereka terhadap pasangannya. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa subjek lebih merasa lega dan senang setelah intervensi dilakukan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan intervensi I-Message efektif dalam membangun dan mempertahankan keluarga yang tangguh.

Abstract

Penyesuaian diri menjadikan periode ini sebagai periode khusus dan sulit dari rentang kehidupan seseorang. Tugas perkembangan yang harus dijalankan individu pada rentang usia ini adalah memilih seorang teman hidup, belajar hidup bersama bersama suami atau istri membentuk suatu keluarga. tujuan edukasi dewasa awal dalam mencari pasangan adalah untuk membantu individu mengembangkan kematangan emosional, sosial, dan psikologis yang diperlukan untuk menjalani hubungan yang intim, komitmen, dan harmonis dengan orang lain. Metode yang digunakan dalam psikoedukasi ini adalah dengan metode eksperimen dengan desain pre-test post-test control group design. Dalam kegiatan ini pre-test dan post-test didesain dalam bentuk angket atau kuesioner. Adapun jumlah responden yang terlibat pada pada penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang yang berusia  Pada projek 26-30 tahun. partisipan yang ikut dalam psikoedukasi ini sama rata antara partisipan laki-laki dan perempuan yaitu 4 laki-laki dan 4 perempuan. dapat dinilai bahwa pemahaman partisipan mengenai psikoedukasi yang telah diberikan meningkat.Dan ini berarti bahwa perkembangan pemahaman yang partisipan miliki berjalan dengan baik karena dari hasil pre-test dan post-test terlihat perubahan yang signifikan, menunjukkan efektivitas psikoedukasi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan partisipan terkait proses penyesuaian sosial dalam pemilihan pasangan hidup.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of development from childhood to adulthood, which involves increasingly mature emotional development, especially when given appropriate parenting.The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of democratic parenting on the emotional maturity of late adolescents. Respondents in this study were 245 people with a dominant to very dominant democratic parenting pattern. The significance based on exponential regression analysis is 0.000, meaning that there is an influence between democratic parenting and emotional maturity. Based on the R Square value or the coefficient of determination, a value of 0,403 is obtained. Therefore, democratic parentinghas a contribution of 40.3% on the emotional maturity of late adolescents, and the other 59.7% is influenced by other factors outside of democratic parenting. The results of data analysis using exponential regression analysis which shows an R value of 0.635. Thus it can be seen that democratic parenting and emotional maturity have a strong correlation coefficient. The implication of this research is that it can make a contribution to the scienceof developmental psychology, especially in the emotional development of adolescents and the provision of proper and appropriate parenting to children.

Abstract

Stimulation is very important in early childhood development so that children's abilities develop optimally according to their age. The aim of the research is to determine the application of developmental stimulation from all aspects of development starting from physical, motoric, language, social and emotional aspects carried out by families with working mothers while accompanying early childhood children aged 0-5 years at home. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with the research subjects being parents who have children aged 0-5 years in Makassar City. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction collection, drawing conclusions and presenting data. The results of this research show that the application of developmental stimulation to working mothers prioritizes stimulating aspects of children's cognitive, social and fine motor development compared to other developmental aspects such as language, emotions, morals and religiosity. Working mothers are generally supported by other caregiver figures, the majority of whom come from the family, such as husbands, grandparents, aunts, older siblings as well as caregivers outside the family and day care. There are several factors that influence the developmental stimulation provided by working mothers, namely employment, duration of work, number of children, marital status, and knowledge about developmental stimulation and child care. The contribution of this research is expected to encourage awareness among all family members, especially working mothers and other caregivers, of the obligation to educate children and the importance of stimulating development so that young children are able to achieve developmental tasks appropriate to their age.

Abstract

Migrant students who experience a transition to a new environment will face various anxieties while overseas, one of which is the emergence of feelings of loneliness. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and loneliness in migrant students. The subjects in this research were 276 migrant students studying in the city of Makassar. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling technique. This research uses the Spearman Rho correlation analysis technique. The results of data analysis obtained a significance value (p = 0.001 < 0.005) with a correlation coefficient value (r = -0.546). The results of the analysis show that there is a negative relationship between self-esteem and loneliness in migrant students. The higher the self-esteem, the lower the equality for migrant students, conversely, the lower the self-esteem, the higher the equality for migrant students. This research can provide a basis for the development of psychological intervention programs aimed at increasing self-esteem and reducing levels of loneliness in migrant students.

Abstract

Abstrak. Stimulasi sangat penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini agar kemampuan anak berkembang optimal sesuai dengan usianya. Kasus keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun khususnya di era digital dan masa pandemi covid-19. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh stimulasi perkembangan utamanya aspek perkembangan bahasa yang dilakukan orangtua selama mendampingi anak usia dini berusia 0-5 tahun terhadap kecenderungan keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa (speech delay) anak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 0-5 tahun di Kota Makassar dengan berbagai latar belakang pendidikan dan profesi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner penelitian yang disebarkan kepada para responden secara online maupun offline. Teknik analisis data menggunakan dengan metode analisis data regresi linier sederhana menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < p (0,05) yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara stimulasi perkembangan yang dilakukan orangtua terhadap kecenderungan keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa (speech delay) pada anak usia dini. Adapun R2 yang diperoleh sebesar 0,597 atau senilai dengan 59,7% peranan stimulasi perkembangan orangtua terhadap kecenderungan perkembangan bahasa pada anak usia dini. Kontribusi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kesadaran bagi seluruh orangtua akan pentingnya stimulasi perkembangan yang optimal agar anak usia dini mampu mencapai perkembangan sesuai usianya sehingga tidak terjadi keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa (speech delay) di periode golden year anak.Kata kunci: Stimulasi Perkembangan, Keterlambatan Perkembangan Bahasa, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Abstract. This Community Service activity is carried out at SD Pertiwi Makassar which is an inclusive school, almost every class has students with special needs. Pertiwi Makassar Elementary School has obstacles in assisting students with special needs, ranging from knowledge, special assistants, to supporting facilities (facilities and infrastructure) for students with special needs. So far, not all students with special needs have Special Accompanying Teachers (GPK), so more students with special needs are only accompanied by class teachers during learning. This program aims to enable teachers to recognize and understand how to assist students with special needs, so that teachers can assist students with special needs with assistance that suits the needs and conditions of students. The provision of psychoeducation in the form of assistance training for students with special needs can increase the understanding and knowledge of teachers to be able to assist students with special needs with assistance that suits their needs that are different from regular student.
