Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mereview optimalisasi media gambar seri sebagai media komunikatif dalam pembelajaran menulis naratif bagi siswa tunarungu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review atau tinjauan pustaka. Diperoleh 15 artikel yang sesuai dengan tujuan literature review. Literature review ini disintesis menggunakan metode naratif dengan mengelompokkan data-data hasil ekstraksi yang sejenis sesuai dengan hasil yang diukur untuk menjawab tujuan. Hasil literature review dari 15 artikel yang relevan menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya penggunaan media gambar yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis bagi siswa. Siswa lebih senang dengan adanya penggunaan media gambar sebagai penunjang dalam proses belajarnya. Media komunikatif berupa gambar dapat membuat daya tarik siswa agar lebih memahami sekaligus mengenal berbagai macam gambar yang disajikan sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya ingat siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Retensi Informasi siswa melalui pengembangan aksesibilitas buku non-teks sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pencapaian hasil tujuan pembelajaran pada siswa sekolah dasar kelas rendah yaitu kelas 1. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan menggunakan metode literature review atau tinjauan pustaka. Literature review merupakan kegiatan yang fokus terhadap sebuah topik spesifik yang menjadi minat untuk dianalisis secara kritis terhadap isi naskah yang dipelajari. Literature review ini menggunakan literatur terbitan tahun 2017-2024 yang dapat diakses fulltext dalam format pdf dan scholarly (peer reviewed journals) dengan menggunakan google schoolar dalam aplikasi Publish or Perish (PoP), penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana buku non-teks dapat diakses dan digunakan oleh siswa, serta dampaknya terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku non-teks yang dirancang dengan baik dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Generasi muda berperan penting dalam keberlanjutan lingkungan hidup. Pembiasaan kepedulian lingkungan sejak dini membantu membentuk pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pentingnya menjaga alam. Melalui pendidikan dapat mengembangkan kesadaran siswa terhadap lingkungan. Program sekolah Adiwiyata menjadi salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam bidang pendidikan untuk mendukung pembiasaan kepedulian lingkungan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kepedulian lingkungan siswa SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta yang menerapkan program sekolah Adiwiyata. Penelitian menggunakan jenis metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel 68 siswa kelas X. Kepedulian lingkungan siswa diuji menggunakan angket skala likert berjumlah 20 pernyataan. Indikator pernyataan diambil dari komponen skala NEP (New Ecological Paradigm). Hasil angket kepedulian lingkungan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata siswa SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta memiliki kepedulian lingkungan yang sedang dan masih terdapat beberapa siswa memiliki kepedulian lingkungan yang rendah.

Abstract

Kalisalak Hamlet in Sukoharjo District is faced with the risk of landslides that can affect the structure of residents' houses. This study aims to identify potential landslide zones based on the parameters of Dominant Frequency (f_0), Amplification Factor (A_0), and Seismic Vulnerability (K_g)to determine areas that are potentially vulnerable to landslides. Microseismic measurements were carried out at 25 measurement points in the landslide zone. Measurements used a 3-component digital portable seismograph (North-South, West-East, and Vertical). Microseismic data were processed using Geopsy software with the HVSR (Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio) method to obtain an H/V curve that provides Dominant Frequency (f_0) and Amplification Factor (A_0) values. The results showed that Kalisalak Village has a dominant frequency value between 3 Hz to 12.5 Hz and an amplification factor value between 1.4 to 6.8. This variation indicates that some areas are more susceptible to seismic vibration amplification. Based on the Dominant Frequency (f_0) value and Amplification Factor (A_0), a Seismic Vulnerability (K_g) microzonation map was created for Kalisalak hamlet with a value range of 0.2 to 7 with a high vulnerability value located in the landslide area south of the village. This map is important for disaster mitigation planning in Kalisalak hamlet.

Abstract

This study seeks to evaluate the efficacy of PowerPoint-based interactive multimedia in enhancing the cognitive skills of fifth-grade primary pupils. A quantitative experimental methodology employing a one-group pretest-posttest design is utilised. Tests are a data collection method applied in research. Data analysis through descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The subject of this research is class V of SDN 26 Talang Ubi. The research results showed that the average score for the pretest of students' cognitive abilities = was 69.25, and the posttest for students' cognitive abilities = was 81.75. These results show that there has been an increase in students' cognitive abilities after using interactive multimedia in learning in class V of SD Negeri 26 Talang Ubi. The N-Gain test obtained an average score of 0.3913, which is in the medium category. In conclusion, the use of interactive multimedia has a significant influence on students' cognitive abilities, but its effectiveness is still relatively moderate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjawab tantangan pembelajaran IPA SD, khususnya sifat abstrak materi rantai makanan dan miskonsepsi siswa yang tinggi. Laporan Kemendikbud (2023) menunjukkan 68% siswa kelas IV-V mengalami kesulitan memahami interaksi trofik, sementara 52% guru bergantung pada metode cmedia tradisionalah. Selain itu, 45% kerja kelompok didominasi anggota tertentu, menghambat kolaborasi. Melalui meta-analisis, penelitian mengkaji efektivitas model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan Media tradisional—media permainan tradisional yang mengkontekstualisasikan aliran energi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dari 10 jurnal nasional/internasional di Google Scholar. Hasil membuktikan sinergi TGT-Media tradisional meningkatkan pemahaman konsep (rata-rata hasil belajar naik 42%) dan kerjasama (ketuntasan kelas meningkat 18,75%). Pendekatan gamifikasi ini signifikan memacu motivasi, keterlibatan kinestetik, dan partisipasi setara dalam kelompok. Namun, implementasi memerlukan manajemen kelas matang dan pelatihan guru untuk mengatasi kebisingan selama turnamen. Penelitian mengonfirmasi bahwa media berbasis kearifan lokal dengan struktur kooperatif menjadi solusi pedagogi sains di daerah terbatas sumber daya.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and rapid technological development, the world of education faces increasingly complex challenges. Teachers are not only required to master learning materials, but also be able to adapt to changes, utilize technology, and form competitive student characters. In this case, the principal has a strategic role as an education leader, especially in creating a work environment that supports and motivates teachers to achieve optimal performance. The teacher's work motivation itself is a psychological factor that affects the success of the teaching and learning process. This study aims to analyze the influence of school principals' leadership on teacher performance by considering the mediating role of work motivation in elementary schools in Tengaran District, Semarang Regency. The quantitative approach is used through path analysis to see the direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results of the study show that the leadership of school principals has a significant effect on work motivation and directly also on teacher performance. Teachers' work motivation also contributes significantly to performance, as well as mediating the influence of the principal's leadership on performance with a total influence of 0.723. These findings confirm the importance of effective leadership and high motivation in improving teacher performance. This research provides implications for education policymakers and school principals to develop transformative leadership and strategies to increase work motivation, in order to encourage the achievement of optimal teacher performance and improve the quality of basic education.

Abstract

The STEAM approach is closely related to 21st-century skills that accommodate innovation in thinking and skills so as to create superior learning outcomes. This study aims to present the results of a descriptive survey on the application of STEAM in numeracy literacy learning in PGSD students. The method in this study uses a quantitative descriptive method supported by a survey through a questionnaire on Google Form and a WhatsApp Group. The subjects of this study are 81 PGSD students. The results of the study showed a significant gap in students' perceptions of STEAM implementation, namely that 55.6% of students already understood the STEAM approach; on the other hand, only 34.6% of students in the category agreed to integrate numeracy concepts with STEAM components. Meanwhile, 66.3% of students believe that STEAM can help students develop problem-solving skills in numeracy. It is necessary to strengthen STEAM-based learning to encourage numeracy literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive multimedia learning materials on the solar system to improve elementary school students' understanding of science concepts and independent learning. The research was motivated by the suboptimal use of technology-based learning facilities due to teachers' limited abilities, resulting in conventional, teacher-centered learning that has an impact on students' low conceptual understanding and learning independence. The research method used was the ADDIE Research and Development (R&D) model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of sixth-grade elementary school teachers and students divided into experimental and control classes. Data were collected through concept comprehension tests and self-assessment scales of learning independence using pre-tests and post-tests, then analyzed using N-Gain, independent t-tests, paired t-tests, and MANOVA. The results showed that the N-Gain value for concept understanding in the experimental class was 0.5523 and for learning independence was 0.451, both of which were in the moderate category and higher than the control class, which was in the low category. The independent t-test results show a significant post-test difference between the experimental and control classes in concept comprehension and learning independence. The paired t-test results show a significant increase from the pre-test to the post-test in the experimental class in science concept comprehension and learning independence compared to the control class. The MANOVA test results show that interactive learning multimedia has a significant simultaneous effect on students' understanding of science concepts and learning independence (Sig. = 0.000). Thus, interactive learning multimedia on the solar system material is proven to be effective in improving elementary school students' understanding of concepts and learning independence.

Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence technology, particularly chatbots, has created new opportunities for innovation in education. This study aims to analyze the need for developing a chatbot-based assessment instrument in the context of Social Studies (IPS) learning, focusing on the topic of Social Mobility for junior high school students. The research employed a need analysis approach as the initial phase of the research and development (R&D) model. Data were collected through literature review, preliminary observation, and field interviews at SMP Negeri 1 Pabelan, Semarang Regency. The findings indicate a high level of interest from both teachers and students regarding chatbot integration; however, teachers’ technical and pedagogical understanding remains limited. Thus, a valid and reliable assessment instrument is needed to evaluate teachers’ digital literacy competencies in utilizing chatbots. This instrument is expected to serve as a diagnostic tool and as the foundation for targeted and contextual digital literacy training. The study contributes to the initial stage of developing relevant educational instruments in response to the demands of the digital era.
