Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran yang besar bagi perekonomian nasional. Hal ini karena daya serap UMK terhadap tenaga kerja yang tinggi dan merupakan sektor ekonomi yang bisa dijangkau masyarakat kelas menengah ke bawah. Salah satu UMKM di Kecamatan Purbolinggo, Kabupaten Lampung Timur adalah UKM Ivan’s Bawen yang bergerak pada pengolahan makanan yaitu proses pengolahan pisang bawen menjadi keripik pisang bawen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha dari UKM Ivan’s Bawen melalui analisis kriteria investasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan menggunakan satu narasumber yaitu pemilik UKM Ivan’s Bawen. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan kriteria investasi yang terdiri dari Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), dan Internal Rate of Return (IRR) dan secara kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan NPV sebesar Rp 174.817.162 (> 0), Net B/C Ratio 1,18 (> 1), dan IRR 39,54% (>10%). Interpretasi dari hasil penelitian adalah UKM Ivan’s Bawen layak untuk diusahakan setidaknya sampai lima tahun mendatang.   Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SEMs) have a big role in the national economy. This is because the absorption of SEMs for labor is high and is an economic sector that can be achieved by the lower middle class. One of the SEMs in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency, is Ivan's Bawen SEMs which is engaged in food processing, namely processing Bawen bananas into Bawen banana chips. This study aimed to determine the business feasibility of Ivan's Bawen SEMs through an analysis of investment criteria. This research uses a case study method using the only resource person, namely the owner of Ivan's Bawen SEMs. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively using investment criteria consisting of Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and qualitatively. The results of the analysis show the NPV of Rp 174,817,162 (> 0), Net B/C Ratio 1.18 (> 1), and IRR 39.54% (>10%). The interpretation of the research results is that Ivan's Bawen SEMs is feasible for at least the next five years.

Abstract

Usaha ternak ayam banyak dibudidayakan dengan pola mandiri oleh masyarakat pedesaan. Kegiatan beternak ayam dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan sendiri khususnya memenuhi kebutuhan protein hewani. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis kelayakan suatu usaha dan titik impas usaha ternak ayam dengan pola mandiri di Desa Braja Dewa, Kecamatan Way Jepara, Lampung Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara menghitung nilai Titik Impas dan R/C ratio. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa (1) Nilai BEP produk yang didapat peternak sebesar 6.456 kg per tahun dan berada diatas BEP produksi yakni sebesar 4.585 kg dalam satu tahun; (2) Nilai kelayakan usaha ternak yang didapat  sebesar 1,16 > 1. Hasil ini meperlihatkan bahwa usaha ternak ayam petelur ini layak dijalankan. Many chicken farms are cultivated independently. The activity of raising chickens is carried out to meet their own food needs, especially to meet the needs of animal protein. The purpose of the study was to analyze the feasibility of a business and the break-even point of a chicken farming business with an independent pattern in Braja Dewa Village, Way Jepara District, East Lampung. The research method uses a survey method. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the break-even point and R/C ratio. From the results of the study, it was found that (1) the BEP value of the product obtained by farmers was 6,456 kg per year and was above the production BEP, which was 4,585 kg in one year; (2) The feasibility value of the livestock business obtained is 1,16 > 1. The results prove that the laying hens business is feasible to run.

Abstract

Background: Kepok banana peel (Musa paradisiaca formatypica) is one of the organic wastes that can be used as a feed additive and prebiotic for fish. Kepok banana peel has been less than optimally utilized even though the potential of banana in Lampung Province is very highAims & Methods: The purpose of this study was to analyze the growth of sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) with the addition of kepok banana flour at specific concentrations and to analyze the quality of catfish cultivation water with the addition of banana peel flour. The research method was to make banana peel flour and then add it as a feed additive with a percentage of 2%, 4%, and 6%. The observations made were the growth of sangkuringan catfish and the quality of cultivation water by observing temperature, pH, and DO.Result: The results of this study indicate that the analysis of the growth of sangkuriang catfish with the addition of kepok banana flour showed that at a concentration of 6% addition to fish feed, it could increase the highest fish growth, which was 4.67g/weeks for 28 days. The results of the analysis of the quality of catfish cultivation water showed that the pH, DO, and water temperature in each treatment followed SNI 6484-6:2024.
