Abstract

Abstract Immersive learning allows children to see the subject matter in a real way because the media used in this type of learning can display actual objects that correspond to real conditions. One of the advantages of virtual reality (VR) is its ability to facilitate an interactive learning environment and provide a learning experience that supports students' abstract thinking and communication. The aim of this study is to develop immersive learning based on virtual reality to create a breakthrough in the education sector, making it easier for teachers to introduce Christian places of worship virtually. The method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model. The research development results show that virtual reality used for introducing Christian places of worship to early childhood achieved an average score of 5, categorized as highly feasible based on all aspects validated by material and media experts, and practical tests conducted by teachers and effectiveness tests conducted with early childhood users. Based on the research data, the development of virtual reality is deemed feasible and effective for introducing Christian places of worship to early childhood. Keywords: Education; Early Childhood; Immersive Learning; Virtual Reality; Abstrak Pembelajaran immersive anak-anak dapat melihat secara nyata tentang pembelajaran yang sedang dipelajari, karena media yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran immersive ini bisa menampilkan objek yang nyata yang sesuai dengan kondisi sesungguhnya. Mampu memfasilitasi lingkungan belajar yang interaktif dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang mendukung pemikiran dan komunikasi abstrak siswa adalah salah satu keunggulan virtual reality (VR). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan pembelajaran immersive berbasis virtual reality yang menciptakan terobosan baru dalam dunia pendidikan agar memudahkan guru dalam mengenalkan tempat ibadah agama kristen berbasis virtual. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and development dengan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian pengembangan menunjukan bahwa virtual reality yang digunakan untuk pengenalan rumah ibadah agama Kristen pada anak usia dini mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 5 dikategorikan sangat layak berdasarkan semua aspek yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media serta telah di uji coba kepraktisan pada pengguna guru dan keefektifan produk pada anak usia dini. Berdasarkan data penelitian tersebut pengembangan virtual reality layak atau efektif digunakan untuk pengenalan rumah ibadah agama Kristen pada anak usia dini. Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Virtual Reality (VR) in introducing places of worship to young children. The research focuses on three key aspects: children's engagement with the VR media, their conceptual understanding as measured by Student Worksheets (LKPD), and teacher responses to its implementation. Data were gathered via direct observation, teacher questionnaires, and analysis of completed student worksheets. The findings reveal that VR significantly enhances student engagement through its interactive and immersive nature. The realistic visual experience provided by VR also facilitated a better understanding of the concepts compared to conventional methods. Teachers reported that the VR technology was user-friendly, time-efficient, and required no complex technical skills. In conclusion, this study confirms that VR is an effective tool for introducing places of worship to young children, showing significant potential to improve the quality of future learning experiences.

Abstract

Pelatihan penggunaan bahasa Melayu melalui cerita rakyat untuk pengenalan budaya Pontianak dirancang dalam kerangka penguatan identitas lokal dan peningkatan literasi budaya mahasiswa, sebagai respons terhadap kebutuhan pengajaran yang responsif terhadap budaya dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. Tujuan utamanya adalah membekali calon pendidik anak usia dini dengan keterampilan mengintegrasikan bahasa Melayu dan cerita rakyat ke dalam pembelajaran kontekstual. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan berbasis praktik, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: diskusi kelompok terfokus bersama tokoh budaya, pelatihan pedagogis, dan lokakarya kreatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengembangkan pemahaman yang kuat tentang pentingnya pelestarian budaya lokal. Data kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa 92% peserta mengalami peningkatan minat yang signifikan terhadap bahasa Melayu, sementara 85% mencatat peningkatan keterampilan bercerita, khususnya dalam modulasi suara, penyusunan narasi, dan penggunaan kosakata khas budaya. Selain itu, program ini berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan kepercayaan diri peserta dalam menggunakan bahasa Melayu dan menyajikan konten budaya kepada audiens yang beragam. Seluruh peserta (100%) menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini relevan dengan kebutuhan profesional mereka dan menunjukkan minat untuk mengikuti program serupa di masa mendatang. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan penguasaan kosakata dan kurangnya kebiasaan menggunakan bahasa Melayu di kalangan peserta non-Melayu. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan cerita rakyat terbukti menjadi pendekatan pedagogis yang efektif untuk menyampaikan nilai moral, narasi budaya, dan pendidikan karakter dalam konteks pembelajaran anak usia dini. Integrasi pendekatan berbasis budaya lokal dalam pendidikan tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam membentuk identitas budaya generasi muda. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis budaya dapat menjadi strategi yang relevan dan berkelanjutan untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam menghadapi tantangan modernisasi.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on children's low interest in consuming vegetables, especially spinach, even though vegetables play an important role in children's growth and development. This study aims to determine the effect of spinach rice on the interest of 5-6-year-old children in consuming healthy foods at the Ceria Kubu Raya Early Childhood Education Center. This study uses a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The research subjects consisted of 30 children selected using simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted through observation and documentation. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression tests. Data calculations were performed using SPSS Statistics 26 software. The research results show a significant increase in children's interest after being given a presentation of spinach rice, indicated by the t-test results (t-count = 13.873; significance 0.000 < 0.05). The appealing presentation of spinach rice, combined with side dishes that children like, along with support from teachers, has proven to be effective in increasing children's interest in consuming healthy food. This study provides important contributions to the development of strategies for presenting nutritious food that is appealing to young children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ecoprint activities on developing children's creativity at PAUD Ceria Kubu Raya. This research uses a quantitative method in the form of an experiment with a pre-experimental research design of one-group pretest-posttest. The number of samples in this study is 30 children. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation sheets, checklists, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are normality test and t-test. The results show that the average creativity score of children in the pretest is 48.3 (medium category), while the average score in the posttest increased to 88.95 (very high category). The t-test shows a significance value of p = 0.000 < 0.05, thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This research shows that ecoprint activities can be an enjoyable, creative, and environmentally friendly alternative for art education in early childhood education (PAUD). Teachers can utilize it to stimulate children's imagination and creativity, parents can support similar activities at home, and educational institutions can adopt it as an innovative learning method that aligns with the PAUD curriculum. It can be concluded that batik activities through ecoprint techniques have an impact on the development of children's creativity at PAUD Ceria Kubu Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the prosocial behavior of children aged 5"“6 years through relay running games. Specifically, this research aims to identify: (1) learning planning, (2) learning implementation, and (3) the improvement of prosocial behavior, which includes helping, cooperating, and sharing. This research was motivated by the low level of prosocial behavior among children in their daily activities, such as helping each other, cooperating, and sharing. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles, consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The general objective of this study is to obtain data and information regarding the improvement of children"™s prosocial behavior through relay running games. The results of the study show that the quality of learning planning increased from an average score of 3.3 in Cycle I to 3.8 in Cycle II. Likewise, learning implementation improved from a score of 3.46 to 3.84. In terms of prosocial aspects, there was a significant improvement. In the aspect of helping each other, the number of children who reached the Developing as Expected (BSH) category increased from 0 children (0.0%) in Cycle I to 11 children (61.1%) in Cycle II. In the aspect of cooperation, children in the BSH category increased to 14 children (77.7%). Similarly, in the aspect of sharing, 14 children (77.7%) reached the BSH category.
