Abstract

Indonesia has a serious waste problem and needs attention from all parties. Waste management can be carried out based on the 4R principle, namely reduce, reuse, recycle and replace. Garbage itself consists of organic and inorganic waste. Organic waste that is over capacity and not managed properly can cause hazards such as odors, affecting water quality, reducing soil quality, and producing methane gas as a contributor to greenhouse gases which can cause environmental damage. One of the efforts to reduce organic waste is through the manufacture of eco enzymes as a natural fertilizer for plants while reducing the greenhouse effect. Activities are carried out through socialization methods and training in making eco enzymes. The results of the activity show that there is an increase in public understanding about the benefits of eco enzyme for the environment as well as how to make eco enzyme by utilizing kitchen waste that is found every day..

Abstract

The problem of waste at this time is constantly being discussed, all community activities always generate waste, so this is not only the responsibility of the government but also the whole community to process waste so that it does not have a negative impact on the surrounding environment. Waste management in Bumirejo Village is still limited to separating organic and inorganic waste. Organic waste in the form of food scraps will be used as animal feed, or used as fertilizer for plants, while inorganic waste is still collected collectively to be disposed of in landfills without being reused. This triggers the accumulation of inorganic waste which results in an increase in landfills in the local area, so that special handling is needed for this inorganic waste. The community service activities carried out in Bumirejo Village aim to increase public awareness regarding household waste reduction. In addition, one of the other goals is the utilization of household waste into something more useful in this case, namely as a planting medium. The approach method used in this service includes 2 methods, namely socialization and demonstration. The implementation of community service activities related to the management of inorganic household waste into planting media has been carried out well and smoothly. The understanding of the people of Bumirejo Village regarding the management of inorganic waste as a planting medium has increased.

Abstract

Proses konstruksi menghasilkan limbah dalam berbagai bentuk, termasuk limbah padat, cair, dan gas. Jika limbah tidak dikelola dengan baik, maka dapat mengganggu aktivitas di proyek konstruksi itu sendiri dan wilayah sekitarnya. Berdasarkan masalah ini , penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan limbahkonstruksi muncul di proyek tertentu dan bagaimana pengelolaannya dilakukan di proyek konstruksi. Tata cara riset yang digunakan dalam riset ini merupakan survei lapangan serta analisis informasi. Survei lapangan dicoba buat mengumpulkan data tentang aplikasi pengelolaan limbah konstruksi yang diterapkan pada proyek pembangunan yang lagi berlangsung. Informasi setelah itu dianalisis buat mengevaluasi daya guna aplikasi pengelolaan limbah konstruksi yang terdapat. Hasil riset menampilkan kalau sebagian besar proyek pembangunan masih mengalami tantangan dalam pengelolaan limbah konstruksi. Sebagian hambatan yang diidentifikasi meliputi minimnya pemahaman hendak berartinya pengelolaan limbah konstruksi, minimnya pengetahuan tentang tata cara yang pas buat mengelola limbah konstruksi. Aktivitas pengelolaan limbah konstruksi yang berada di proyek di Desa Pegundungan termasuk: pengawasan pekerja yang ketat dan berkala untuk mengurangi kesalahan; prosedur penindakan dan penyimpanan bahan yang jelas; penggunaan komponen modular untuk desain yang memungkinkan; dan penyimpanan material yang aman dari cuaca dan mudah diakses.

Abstract

Fireplaces for people in mountainous areas have several functions including those that function for cooking, heating and preserving agricultural products. One of the villages in the mountainous region is Kalidesel Village, Wonosobo, Central Java. The fireplace in the Kalidesel village consists of several elements including a furnace known as a pawon, a small wooden table known as dingklik, a seat known as jengkok, a cupboard for furniture known as an Anjab and a place to put agricultural products known as para. The fireplace is maintained by the community because it has meaning for people's lives. This research will reveal the meaning of a fireplace in the Kalidesel Village Settlement, Wonosobo, Central Java. The method used is descriptive method with observation and interview strategies. Observations were made on several houses in the village of Kalidesel that still maintain a fireplace. Interviews were conducted in several communities in the Kalidesel Village. The results of the study show the functional, social and symbolic meaning of the function of a fireplace in the Kalidesel Village Settlement. Functional meaning that arises in accordance with the function of the fireplace as a cooking tool. The function shows the ecological aspects of the use of wood fuel by using a repek system (how to extract wood without damaging the environment). The social meaning can be seen from the function of warming which is used as a means to strengthen brotherhood. Not only do you come from blood ties, but your neighbors become sedul due to frequent gatherings and encounters with a fireplace. The symbolic meaning of the hearth as a spiritual means. The fireplace is believed to be able to be an intermediary tool that can provide fortune. The meaning of a hearth for people's lives is the creation of comfort and peace in life.

Abstract

UKM Mirajamu di Dusun Karangtengah, Sawangan, Leksono, Wonosobo, telah berdiri dan terus mengalami peningkatan produksi serta variasi produk. Seiring dengan meningkatnya permintaan dan kondisi cuaca dingin di dataran tinggi, proses pengeringan bahan baku jamu menjadi simplisia memerlukan alat buatan, dimana simplisia bahan yang hanya melewati proses pengeringan saja agar memiliki ketahanan waktu yang lama di saat penyimpanan. Mitra Mirajamu saat ini menggunakan mesin pengering listrik yang berkapasitas rendah dan memerlukan waktu lama untuk mengeringkan. Tujuan untuk program pengabdian kepada masyarakat supaya menghadirkan solusi bagi masalah mitra, khususnya dalam medesain atau merancang dan pemilihan komponen atau bahan yang digunakan mesin pengering yang mendukung proses produksi jamu. Dengan desain mesin pengering ini nanti diharapkan membantu mitra untuk pembuatan mesin pengering yang sesuai apa yang dikehendaki, Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi Identifikasi kelayakan spesifikasi dengan mitra, meninjau literatur, mendesain menjadi gambar teknik, pemilihan material dan komponen, dan penggerak dengan sistem yang akurat, serta penjelasan dalam mengoperasikan mesin. Hasil dari pengabdian soft skill yang didapatkan untuk mitra berupa pemahaman perancangan mesin dan hard skill dapat menghitung biaya proses produksi dan mitra menyambut dengan senang hati, penuh kehangatan dan positif dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat.

Abstract

Energy use in health buildings is inevitable due to building functions that must protect specific equipment or parts. One of the health buildings, namely the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) building, serves to draw people's blood. The use of artificial ventilation must be used to support the function of the PMI building. The study aimed to determine the use or energy consumption of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) building in the Wonosobo Regency. The study used the field measurement method for one day. The data collection method also uses the observation method to describe the space and activities in the building. Data analysis uses graphs and compares the outside and inside of the building. AC specifications are also displayed to know how much energy is used. The results showed that the energy consumption of air conditioning in the Wonosobo PMI building was not too large, considering that only specific spaces were used. The outside area is quite remarkable and supports the AC setting, which is not too strong.

Abstract

The design of this Resort area uses the Thermal Comfort Approach. Using suitable materials and contemporary concepts, buildings in this area will later become comfortable lodgings and increase new comfort for new tourists. The realization of the conceptual basis for planning and designing a Resort in Kledung Temanggung, which is equipped with supporting facilities that can provide a sense of comfort through interior and exterior spatial processing based on the Regionalism Architecture Approach and Thermal Comfort, which can attract tourists. The methodology to be used in the design and planning of the Resort at Kledung Temanggung is competitively descriptive, and the data collection method obtained both primary and secondary data. This article produces a design concept for planning and designing a resort area by considering the existing thermal in the Temanggung district.

Abstract

Stadiums are the most influential supporting facilities for the sport of football in the world. Having a stadium can add pride to an area. Gelora Wonosobo Stadium is a football stadium in Wonosobo district as well as a stadium that will be used as the headquarters for the PSIW football club (Wonosobo Indonesian Football Association). The club, which has the nickname Laskar Kolodete, was previously headquartered at the Kalianget Stadium which is adjacent to the Kalianget Recreation Park and has not yet received proper stadium facilities and also cannot be called a stadium considering how it is now, therefore the Gelora Wonosobo Stadium was built which is located on Jalan Wonosobo. Kertek is opposite the Dewasni Café Restaurant, the choice of location also takes into consideration several things, namely land use, accessibility, supporting facilities for the surrounding environment and city utilities so that it will make it easier for stadium users. Gelora Wonosobo Stadium is a district class B type stadium which has FIFA standard facilities and has a capacity of approximately 20,000 spectators with a distribution of 400 VIP/VVIP spectator seats, 18,600 general spectator seats, 1000 disabled spectator seats which is 5% of the general spectators. The Gelora Wonosobo Stadium will adopt a modern, futuristic architectural style and without an athletics track. With the absence of an athletics track, the distance between the field and the stands will be closer, so there will be a distance between the stands and the field or a safety zone to see the less orderly behavior of the Indonesian people.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved from this planning is to Design a Culinary Tourism Center and Creative Space with a Green Architecture Approach by maximizing the existing land according to the concept taken. The limitations of this planning discussion are guided by the objectives and targets that have been set, namely the Design and Planning of a Culinary Tourism Center and Creative Space. Comparative studies are conducted to increase insight into similar building designs from several regions as a discourse in the Design and Planning of a Culinary Tourism Center and Creative Space with a Green Architecture Approach. The analysis was obtained from collecting data from the internet to support the Design and Planning process of a Culinary Tourism Center and Creative Space with a Green Architecture Approach. The Culinary Tourism Center and Creative Space is expected to become a new destination that is present as a combination of culinary tourism and creative space that answers our needs besides food, communal open spaces that function as a place for creativity, and encourage youth movements to be able to carry out healthy and collaborative activities. With the communal open space available, it will also become a place for creative people and their communities to channel their creativity, exchange ideas, and produce new creations without abandoning its architectural approach that minimizes harmful effects on human health and the environment.

Abstract

The planning and design of a modern green building Islamic boarding school in Kudus Regency is a place for Islamic education with a combination of learning special skills such as language learning. Planning for a modern green building cottage is a new breakthrough in the world of Islamic education in Kudus Regency. Modern Islamic boarding schools have Islamic teachings as their main and there is additional learning skills such as language in the process. With the concept of green building can provide more comfort, because it can minimize the impact of weather that occurs in the region. It is hoped that the green building concept can make building users comfortable in carrying out their activities in the building area. Facilities in the Islamic boarding school area include comfortable dormitories, special laundry rooms, special cooking areas, halls, guest houses, large parking lots, and a visiting garden for parents who want to see their children. Taman jenguk is intended so that users from outside the area can feel as comfortable as guardians of students who have traveled long distances. Modern green building Islamic boarding schools in Kudus Regency are expected to become educational areas that prioritize Islamic teachings with the addition of skill-based learning. Skill-based learning is intended so that students who study at the Islamic boarding school do not only have religious knowledge, but also world knowledge.
