Abstract

This study aims to examine the personality structure of Cakra in the novel Not Me by Cahya Maharani reviewed from Jung's archetype. The expected benefits of this study are that the results of this study are expected to broaden the author's knowledge and insight in analyzing the personality structure of characters in novels, are expected to provide understanding to readers so that they are always active in reading and exploring the personality structure of characters presented in literary works, and are expected to be a reference for other researchers who research similar objects. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The data source for this study is the novel Not Me by Cahya Maharani with a total of 300 pages published by PT Moka Media in 2021. Data collection was carried out using analytical reading techniques. This study uses a literary psychology approach. The results of this study indicate that the personality structure of Cakra in the novel Not Me by Cahya Maharani reviewed from Jung's archetypes, namely: (1) persona in the form of encouragement, strong image, cheerful child; (2) anima in the form of caring, empathy, compassion, attention, support, responsibility, sincerity, nurturing, and affection; (3) shadow in the form of trauma, wounds, loneliness, bullying, lack of self-confidence, darkness, fear, helplessness, loss of freedom, feeling insecure, anxiety, feeling left out, sadness, difficulty accepting oneself, painful memories, avoidance, anger, rejection, doubt, fragility, and hallucinations; (4) self in the form of reflection, acceptance, self-confidence, honesty, compassion, strong independence, awareness, empathy, and balance.

Abstract

This study aims to open up space for reflection and debate on the need for a paradigm shift and new methods in developing Islamic economics in Indonesia. It uses a critical qualitative approach based on political economy theory and Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) to examine the influence of the neoclassical paradigm on Islamic economic policy in Indonesia. The results indicate that critical reflection on the dominance of the neoclassical approach in Islamic economic policy in Indonesia reveals that Islamic economics remains trapped in epistemological and methodological subordination to the global capitalist system, often failing to realise the ideals of social justice, wealth distribution, and empowerment of vulnerable groups as mandated by the maqaṣid al-shari'ah. This phenomenon occurs because the success of Islamic economics is more often measured through neoclassical indicators that emphasise asset growth, efficiency, and market competitiveness, rather than substantive transformation of inequality and poverty structures. Nevertheless, this criticism should be viewed as a constructive call to rebuild the paradigm, decolonise Islamic economic knowledge, and reaffirm the agenda of social justice and empowerment of the ummah in every policy, innovation, and sharia institution.

Abstract

Among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar. The research questions formulated for this study are: 1) What is the level of knowledge regarding sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar?, 2) What is the level of knowledge regarding sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar after the use of instructional videos?, and 3) Is there an improvement in the knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar through the use of instructional videos? The objectives of this research are to determine: 1) The knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities prior to the use of instructional videos, 2) The knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities after the use of instructional videos, and 3) The improvement in the knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities. The subject of this study was a seventh-grade female student with an intellectual disability. Data collection techniques utilized an initial test (pretest) and a final test (posttest). Based on the research data gathered from the subject at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar, the conclusions of this study are: 1) The knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar prior to the use of instructional videos fell into the highly inadequate category; 2) The knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar after the use of instructional videos fell into the adequate category; 3) There is an improvement in the knowledge of sex education among children with intellectual disabilities at SLB-C YPPLB Makassar following the use of instructional videos.
