Abstract

Gampong Terujak yang terletak di wilayah Aceh Timur memiliki sumber air panas yang dikunjungi/ dimanfaatkan oleh para wisatawan dan masyarakat setempat sebagai tempat rekreasi bersama keluarga, tempat merebus makanan (telur) serta tempat pemandian. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji logam berat yaitu kadmium (Cd) dan Timbal (Pb) yang mungkin terkandung dalam sumber air panas Terujak. Penelitian menggunakan metode AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophoto meter). Adapun sampel air panas diambil dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah logam Cd dan Pb yang terkandung dalam sumber air panas Terujak sebesar 0,0972 ppm dan 0,1587 ppm. Berdasarkan standar maksimum menteri kesehatan RI Nomor 416/Menkes/Per/IX/1990 tentang persyaratan kualitas air bersih dan air minum maka kedua kadar logam tersebut melebihi ambang batas, sehingga sebaiknya tidak digunakan untuk air minum. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi informasi dasar untuk masyarakat dan pemerintah (daerah) untuk selalu menjaga dan melestarikan kearifan lokal sehingga meminimalkan terjadinya polusi.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that some students felt stressed, had feelings of insecurity and discomfort with the changing learning system. They also often feel tired, lethargic in the teaching and learning process, they also often experience anxiety and feelings of stress. Some students also feel less confident, less good at understanding themselves, and less satisfied with their social relationships so that they do not feel happy with the learning system and they also find it difficult to adapt to their environment as a result of post-online learning. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research that describes the mental health of students after online learning at SMAN 2 Pulau Punjung. In collecting data, researchers used observation and interview techniques. Meanwhile, to analyze it, researchers used data reduction, data presentation, and data verification steps. The results of the study showed that the mental health of students after carrying out online learning at SMAN 2 Pulau Punjung, namely students have good mental health. More students have good mental health than bad, students have a healthy mentality characterized by students feeling comfortable and safe while studying, having high self-confidence, being able to understand themselves, getting satisfaction in social relationships (social interactions), having emotional maturity that is appropriate for their age, not having a disturbed personality, and being able to adapt to their environment and being happy with their current situation.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan memberikan pelatihan terkait penguatan literasi dan numerasi serta penyusunan best practice bagi guru SD yang diharapkan mampu membantu peserta didik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasinya dan mengoptimalkan budaya literasi numerasi peserta didik di sekolah. Peserta pada kegiatan ini adalah 28 guru dari KKG Gugus 1 Kedungkandang Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode informatif partisipatif dengan pelaksanaan meliputi workshop dan pelatihan, penyusunan strategi pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi efektif, monitoring dan evaluasi, serta kegiatan diseminasi dan publikasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah kegiatan ini terbukti mampu memberi penguatan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi guru, membantu guru untuk menyusun kegiatan pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi yang efektif bagi peserta didik, serta meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun best practice berbasis keterampilan abad 21. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil kuesioner yang menunjukkan 92,86% Peserta Workshop sangat terbantu dalam memahami strategi pembelajaran literasi yang efektif, 82,14% peserta workshop merasa program ini sangat bermanfaat dalam memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pengajaran numerasi, serta 64,29% peserta workshop merasa program ini memberikan panduan yang sangat jelas dalam menyusun best practice pengajaran.  This community service aims to provide training related to strengthening literacy and numeracy and the preparation of best practices for elementary school teachers which are expected to help students improve their literacy skills and optimize the culture of student numeracy literacy in schools. Participants in this activity were 28 teachers from KKG Gugus 1 Kedungkandang, Malang City. The method used in this service including workshops and training, preparation of effective literacy and numeracy learning strategies, monitoring and evaluation, and dissemination and publication activities. The results are that this activity has proven to be able to strengthen teachers' literacy and numeracy skills, help teachers develop effective literacy and numeracy learning activities for students, and improve teachers' abilities in developing Best Practices based on 21st-century skills. This is evidenced by the results of the questionnaire which showed that 92.86% of Workshop Participants were very helped in understanding effective literacy learning strategies, 82.14% of workshop participants felt that this program was very useful in providing a better understanding of numeracy teaching, and 64.29% of workshop participants felt that this program provided very clear guidance in developing teaching best practices.

Abstract

Low back pain atau nyeri punggung bawah merupakan masalah yang sering terjadi pada orang dewasa. LBP merupakan kondisi nyeri yang dirasakan pada area punggung bawah. Masalah ergonomi menjadi hal utama yang menyebabkan terjadinya LBP seperti duduk terlalu lama, membungkuk dan gerakan duduk ke berdiri. Posisi membungkuk 200% memberikan beban yang lebih berat dibandingkan dengan posisi tegak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Kalianget Timur Kecamatan Kalianget Kabupaten Sumenep Madura. Pendekatan penelitian ini berupa penyuluhan dengan materi dan demonstrasi latihan seated lower back rotation dan knee to chest stretch. Pengukuran nyeri punggung bawah menggunakan Pain Self Efficacy Questionnaire (PSEQ) dan Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). Total skor menggunakan PSEQ yang terdiri dari 10 item adalah 23 dengan interpretasi sedang sedangkan ODI sebesar 30% sehingga interpretasi nyeri pada kelompok ini lebih banyak dan terdapat masalah duduk, mengangkat dan tidur. Sedangkan kehidupan sosial, berdiri dan seks ringan. Penanganan dini, berjalan dan berpergian pengaruhnya kecil. Setelah dilakukan pengukuran PSEQ dan ODI dapat dinyatakan bahwa pekerja pembuatan kue di desa Kalianget mengalami LBP saat melakukan aktivitas yang lama dan gangguan LBP saat duduk dan mengangkat serta sedikit kesulitan dalam bekerja.

Abstract

The rainbow connection number of a graph G denoted by rc(G) is the minimum number of colors used to color the edges in G, such that every pair of vertices is connected by a path with all different colors. In 2008, Chartrand et al. first introduced the concept of rainbow connection numbers. They introduced it as an edge coloring on a graph that refers to the path of each pair of vertices. An octopus graph, with m legs denoted by Om, is a graph constructed from a fan graph Fm and a star graph Sm. The graphs studied in this article are two classes of octopus iteration graphs, namely the octopus chain graph and the octopus ladder graph. The octopus chain graph, denoted by O2(n) is a graph constructed from n copies of O2 and connecting one leg of the i-th copy to the (i+1)-th copy, for every I = 1,2,..., n-1. The octopus ladder graph, denoted by O2'(n) is a graph constructed from graph O2(n) by connecting one of vertex of degree two of the i-th copy to the (i+1)-th copy. In this research, we determine the rainbow connection number of the octopus chain graphs O2(n) and the octopus ladder graphs O2'(n). We obtain that rc(O2(n))=3n, for n >= 1 and rc(O2'(n))=3n-1,  for n >= 2.Keywords: Classes of octopus iteration graphs; Octopus chain graph; Octopus ladder graph; Rainbow connection number. AbstrakBilangan terhubung pelangi pada graf G dinotasikan dengan rc(G)  merupakan jumlah warna minimum yang digunakan untuk mewarnai sisi pada G, sehingga setiap pasang titik dihubungkan oleh suatu lintasan dengan warna yang berbeda semua. Pada tahun 2008, Chartrand dkk. pertama kali memperkenalkan konsep bilangan terhubung pelangi. Chartrand dkk. memperkenalkannya sebagai pewarnaan sisi pada graf yang mengacu pada lintasan setiap pasang titiknya. Graf gurita dengan m kaki dinotasikan denganOm  adalah graf yang dikonstruksi dari graf kipas Fm  dan graf bintang Sm. Graf yang dikaji dalam artikel ini merupakan dua kelas graf iterasi gurita, yaitu graf rantai gurita dan graf tangga gurita. Graf rantai gurita yang dinotasikan dengan O2(n) adalah graf yang dikonstruksi dari n copy graf Om dan menghubungkan satu kaki salinan ke-i ke salinan ke-i+1, untuk setiap i = 1,2,...,n. Graf tangga gurita yang dinotasikan dengan O2'(n)  adalah graf yang dibangun dari graf O2(n) dengan menghubungkan salah satu titik berderajat dua salinan dari graph ke-i ke salinan ke-i+1. Pada penelitian ini, ditentukan bilangan terhubung pelangi pada graf rantai gurita O2(n) dan graf tangga gurita O2'(n). Kami memperoleh bahwa rc(O2(n))=3n untuk n>=1 dan rc(O2'(n))=3n-1, untuk n>=2. Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of the Directed Practice learning approach on the motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics students in grade XI Phase F at State High School 1 Candung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used is pre-experimental with a Static Group Comparison design. The research sample consists of 54 students selected through random sampling techniques from a population of 79 students. The XI Phase F3 class is designated as the experimental group that receives instruction with the Directed Practice approach, while the XI Phase F2 class serves as the control group that receives conventional instruction. The instruments used in this study include learning outcome tests and motivation questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using the t-test with the help of SPSS software. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group, both in terms of learning motivation and mathematics learning outcomes. For learning motivation, a calculated t-value of 3.1656 was obtained > table t = 1.63756 with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05. Meanwhile, for mathematics learning outcomes, a calculated t-value of 2.234 was obtained > table t = 1.63756 with a significance value of 0.03 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the Directed Practice learning approach has a significant effect on improving the motivation and mathematics learning outcomes of the XI Fase F students at SMA Negeri 1 Candung

Abstract

Sejak tahun 2002 Pemerintah menyelenggarakan Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) untuk jenjang SMA. Sedangkan OSN untuk jenjang SD dan SMP diadakan sejak 2003. Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang dilombakan. Berdasarkan panduan OSN (2018), OSN Matematika SMP bertujuan mengukur secara langsung tiga aspek pemecahan masalah, penalaran, dan komunikasi tertulis. Oleh karena itu persiapan calon peserta OSN semestinya berorientasi kepada peningkatan kemampuan dalam ketiga aspek tersebut. Melalui kegiatan OSN Matematika ini diharapkan terpilih siswa-siswa terbaik yang menguasai Matematika sebagai embrio untuk dipersiapkan menjadi calon peserta olimpiade tingkat internasional (International Mathematics Olympiad). Mekanisme pelaksanaan lomba dibagi dalam beberapa tahap yaitu seleksi tingkat kota, tingkat propinsi dan tingkat nasional. Siswa MAN 2 Tulungagung sering lolos olimpiade matematika  tingkat kota (OSK) tetapi mereka tidak lolos pada  tingkat provinsi.  Oleh  karena itu pihak MAN 2 Tulungagung  mengadakan kerjasama dengan departemen matematika UM untuk memberikan bimbingan intensif materi OSP kepada  siswa mereka. Tujuan bimbingan intensif ini untuk memperlengkapi siswa mereka dengan soal-soal OSP. Dengan demikian diharapkan siswa-siswa tersebut bisa lolos OSP tahun 2024

Abstract

Mathematical problem-solving ability is essential in learning activities at school and real life. Until now, students' abilities in solving mathematical problems vary, especially in solving non-routine problems, such as jumping task problems. These differences can be influenced by several factors, one of which is the adversity quotient. This study determined the mathematical problem-solving ability according to Polya's stages to solve jumping task problems based on students' adversity quotient. This study was conducted by involving 22 students in one of the junior high schools (SMP) in Malang Regency as research subjects. In this study, the researcher acted as the main instrument assisted by the Adversity Response Profile (ARP) questionnaire, problem-solving question sheets, and semi-structured interview guidelines. This study began with the provision of a questionnaire. Continued by working on test questions and selecting three students to conduct interviews. This study found that climber students tend to be more able to solve problems according to Polya's stages tactically and effectively, and have better verbal skills. Students have also been able to understand the issues contained in the jumping task questions. However, all students tend to skip the stage of re-examining the process and answers.

Abstract

Graph labeling is the assigning of labels represented by integers or symbols to graph elements, edges and/or vertices (or both) of a graph. Consider a simple graph with a vertex-set and an edge-set . The order of graph , denoted by , is the number of vertices on . The prime labeling is a bijective function , such that the labels of any two adjacent vertices in G are relatively prime or , for every two adjacent vertices and in . If a graph can be labeled with prime labeling, then the graph can be said to be a prime graph. Abstract

Padusan Village, located in the Mojokerto district, has been identified as having significant potential for beetroot processing. In response to this opportunity, a community service team embarked on a project to empower local women by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to produce a variety of beetroot-based processed products. These products included beetroot tepung, crackers, cheese sticks, and wedang wuluh drinks. Throughout the initiative, the women were closely supported by students specializing in catering, who guided them through each step of the production process, from familiarizing them with the ingredients to mastering the art of dough preparation. They demonstrated remarkable progress in their understanding of food processing techniques and showed enthusiasm in exploring the diverse culinary possibilities offered by beetroot. Looking ahead, future community service endeavors aim to further empower these women by facilitating the transition to large-scale production and providing assistance in developing effective marketing strategies. By leveraging their newfound skills and tapping into potential market demand, the women of Padusan Village can enhance their economic prospects and contribute to the growth and prosperity of their community.
