Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has been ongoing for almost two years and the number of the new cases is still happening and without any sign of it ending. The number of cases has almost reached four million cases (3,854,354 cases) as of August 15, 2021. Other reasons contributing to this other than the lack health protocol implementation are community activities involving large crowds and incorrect handling of corpses who died due to Covid-19 in the community like forced retrieval of Covid-19 corpse from the hospital. For this reason, the importance of this discussion is to increase the public understanding of the legal aspects of forced retrieval of COVID-19 bodies from hospitals, the risk of transmission due to forced retrieval of COVID-19 bodies from hospitals, to reduce transmission of COVID-19 in the midst of society. The method is implemented in the form of a live broadcast discussion via Instagram from RSUPHAM Medan with the topic "forced retrieval of Covid-19 corpse from the hospital" which was held on August 26, 2021 at 11.00 WIB.

Abstract

Since the first outbreak of Covid-19 disease in March 2020 until now, the pandemic has been occuring for almost two years and the number of cases are still increasing without signs of ending while the number of cases has almost reached four million cases (3,950,304 cases as of 19 August 2021). While transmission of Covid-19 is still increasing in Indonesia, reasons apart from the lack of implementation of health protocols also causes increase in number of cases, such as community activities that cause overcrowding, the forced retrieval of Covid-19 corpses from hospitals and the handling of corpses and mistakes in burial process is suspected to be one of the factors in the transmission of Covid-19 in the community that cannot be controlled. In order to anticipate a spike in cases of deaths due to COVID-19 and the possibility of dying at home or dying outside the hospital, training on the management of relocation and burial of COVID-19 bodies will be carried out in collaboration with the Medan city government. The target groups for the training on the management of curing and burial of COVID-19 bodies are BABINSA, BHABINKAMTIBMAS, sub-district employees and PUSKESMAS employees in the city of Medan with an estimated number of participants around 167 people divided into three sessions starting from August 24, 2021 to August 26, 2021. The objectives of this community service program are (1) to improve the skills of health care officers throughout the city of Medan in managing the handling of COVID-19 corpses. (2) improve the skills of health care officers throughout the city of Medan in the management of COVID-19 funerals. (3) anticipating the surge in deaths of COVID-19 cases so that they can still be handled according to the protocol for handling COVID-19 bodies. The method of carrying out the activity is the lecture and question and answer method which is then followed by a technical workshop / Management of Beginning and burial of COVID-19 bodies. Which will be held on 24-26 August 2021 at 14.00 WIB until finished.

Abstract

Visum et repertum is one of the legal evidence in court that plays a role in the process of proving a case, so that the crime that occurs becomes clearer, the visum et repertum is made based on the results of the doctor's examination and must be of good quality. Thus, the function and role of the visum et repertum is fulfilled, but based on the research we conducted in July 2019 on the visum et repertum issued by Lubuk Pakam Hospital from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018 the quality was not good enough. Efforts to realize a good quality visum et repertum in our opinion needed technical guidance in the form of lectures and questions and answers as well as training/workshops on making good visum et repertum. Potential groups to be trained are general practitioners who work in the Emergency Unit of Lubuk Pakam Hospital, Deli Serdang Regency, who are trained to increase their knowledge and skills in making good quality visum et repertum. The method of carrying out activities is the lecture and question and answer method which is then followed by a workshop on good visum et repertum making techniques with a period of every 2 months as many as 3 times for 6 months, then several visum evaluations will be carried out to see the progress of the quality of the visum et repertum issued by Lubuk Pakam Hospital after training.

Abstract
