Abstract

This study aims to explain the concept of Islamic law through the concept of hadhanah in the effort to protect Indonesian children. In Law No. 35 of 2014, which has been ratified by the government, it is emphasized that the protection of Indonesian children from all forms of discrimination and violence is a priority. Since the majority of people in Indonesia are Muslim, Islamic values and standards certainly influence the upbringing and education of children. Child neglect is one form of maltreatment and violence experienced by children and constitutes a violation of children's human rights, whether intentional or unintentional. A normative juridical research method, which is based on library research, is used as the research methodology. Based on the research findings, Islamic law itself teaches how to protect children, and the government, society, and parents have a very important role in establishing policies that benefit children and uphold human rights. The results of this study indicate that Law No. 35 of 2014 has fulfilled the concept of hadhanah in Islamic jurisprudence and has involved all parties in protecting children. This law also explains child protection in the fields of religion, health, education, and social matters.

Abstract

Schools, as educational institutions that have a key role in shaping the character and values of the younger generation, have a responsibility to promote multiculturalism. However, in educational environments with a religious background, challenges can arise in efforts to promote multiculturalism without ignoring existing religious values. This research aims to examine effective strategies and approaches in instilling multicultural values in schools with a religious background. The research method used is literature reflection to explore an in-depth understanding of the concept of multiculturalism and the challenges faced by schools with a religious background. The research results show that instilling the values of multiculturalism in schools can be done through an inclusive, dialogical and religious-based approach. The integration of a multicultural curriculum that includes cultural and religious aspects from various backgrounds is an effective way to teach tolerance, respect and better understanding of differences. In addition, intercultural education that promotes interfaith dialogue, seminars, visits to places of worship, and cultural exchange programs can be a means of strengthening multicultural awareness in schools with religious backgrounds. This research also emphasizes the important role of teachers in guiding students in understanding and appreciating multiculturalism, while still recognizing the religious values they adhere to. Schools with a religious background need to create an environment that supports interfaith dialogue and encourages tolerance through inclusive educational policies and practices.

Abstract

Abstract. This mentoring program was carried out from the results of observations and data collection that had been carried out by the team towards partners, in this case the Jami 'Unida Gontor Mosque through the Ta'mir mosque. Through this data collection, it is known that the mosque is the central point that animates tapping on the Unida Gontor campus, where most people from the academic community spend their time in the mosque for obligatory worship and sunnah. From the data that has been collected, it is known that the problem experienced by the partners is the density of the congregation when the congregational prayer is taking place, this can be seen from the inadequacy of the prayer shaf in the right, left and terrace of the mosque because there are no shaf markers and media to educate the congregation about the importance of straightening and tightening the shaf as the virtue of prayer. Partners in this activity are the ta'mir of the mosque and its staff. The solution is given by giving a satr sign as a guide for the shaf on the terrace of the mosque, the sign is in the form of a diamond resembling a black dot. With the limitation of shaf on the terrace of the mosque, it can also increase “kekhusyu'an” jammah in worship and the difference in the shaf of congregation on the northern and southern terraces of the mosque can be avoided. Partners also play a role in setting the time for the implementation of the Community Service, as well as active participants in mentoring activities. The results of this community empowerment are in the form of satr on the terrace and porch of the mosque. In addition, posters are reminders of the straightness of the shaf. The questionnaire on the effectiveness of satr and posters that have been produced shows that. Meanwhile, from the results of the field evaluation, it was found that there was an increase in the behavior of the congregation.  Abstrak. Program pendampingan ini dilaksanakan dari hasil pengamatan dan pengumpulan data yang telah dilakukan oleh tim terhadap mitra dalam hal ini Masjid Jami’ Unida Gontor melalui Ta’mir masjid. Melalui pengumpulan data tersebut diketahui bahwa masjid merupakan titik pusat yang menjiwai peradapan di kampus Unida Gontor, dimana sebagian besar masyarakat dari civitas akademika meluangkan waktunya ke masjid untuk beribadah wajib maupun sunnah. Dari data yang telah dikumpulkan tersebut diketahui permasalahan yang dialami mitra adalah kerapatan jamaah pada saat sholat berjamaah berlangsung, hal ini dapat terlihat dari belum optimalnya shaf sholat yang berada di serambi kanan,kiri serta teras masjid karena tidak adanya penanda shaf serta media untuk mengedukasi jamaah akan pentingnya meluruskan dan merapatkan shaf sebagai keutamaan shalat. Tujuan dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini karena masjid memiliki fungsi utama yaitu sebagai tempat sujud umat islam(Kelayakan et al., n.d.) maka dari itu pemanfaatan atas fasilitas ibadah sangat diperlukan untuk menambah kehusyu’an dalam melakasanan sholat. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah ta’mir masjid beserta jajarannya. Solusi yang diberikan dengan memberi tanda satr sebagai pedoman shaf pada teras masjid, tanda tersebut berbentuk ketupat menyerupai titik yang berwarna hitam. Dengan adanya batasan shaf pada teras masjid juga dapat meningkatkan ke khusyu’an jammah dalam beribadah dan perbedaan shaf  jamaah di teras bagian utara dan selatan masjid dapat dihindarkan, Salain pendampingan pembuatan satr mitra juga akan didampingi dalam membuat poster sebagai media edukasi visual pengingat kelurusan shaf. Mitra juga berperan dalam pengaturan waktu pelaksanaan abdimas, serta peserta aktif dalam kegiatan pendampingan. Hasil abdimas ini berupa satr di teras maupun serambi masjid. Selain itu poster pengingat kelurusan shaf. Kuisioner kaeefektifan satr dan poster yang telah dihasilkan menunjukkan bahwa . sedangkan dari hasil evaluasi lapangan diketahui ada peingkatan perubahan perilaku jamaah.

Abstract

Abstract Community empowerment activities at SMK PGRI 1 Ponorogo is focused on providing assistance in making automatic sinks. The purpose of this community empowerment is as downstream research results of the author on automatic sink technology as one of the tools to prevent the transmission of covid-19. This method of community empowerment is mentoring teachers and student of SMK PGRI 1 Ponorogo in making automatic sinks. The form of activity carried out is a seminar by the implementing team to partners on the manufacture of this technology. Through the transfer of knowledge in community empowerment activities, it is expected that partners can implement in the manufacture and development of tools independently. The results of this community empowerment can increase the knowledge of partners related to the manufacture of automatic sinks as one of the efforts to overcome the transmission of covid-19 in schools.Abstrak Kegiatan Pengabdian masyarakat di SMK PGRI 1 Ponorogo ini berfokus untuk memberikan pendampingan pembuatan automatic wastafel. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah sebagai hilirisasi hasil riset penulis tentang teknologi automatic wastafel sebagai salah satu alat untuk mencegah penularan covid-19. Metode pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pendampingan kepada guru dan siswa SMK PGRI 1 Ponorogo dalam membuat automatic wastafel. Bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah seminar oleh tim pelaksana kepada mitra mengenai pembuatan teknologi ini. Melalui transfer ilmu dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan mitra dapat mengimplementasikan dalam pembuatan dan pengembangan alat secara mandiri. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat meningkatnya pengetahuan mitra terkait pembuatan automatic wastafel sebagai salah satu upaya mengatasi penularan covid-19 di sekolah

Abstract

This article talks about a flight of birds in the Qur’ān. Because most of words refer to birds in the Qur’ān has not, thematically, researshed yet. So that our knowledge of bird phenomenon restricted to saintific research. Therefore this research aimed, thematically, to reveal how tafsir studies explain the bird phenomenon. After analitical and descriptical reviewing, we revive that Allah holds wing of birds by His power to make them flying. As we know, tafsir stidies, especially tafsir ilmiy are, further, necessary to be developed. Because aerodinamic theory just explained emirically and rasionally aspect. Therefore, it necessary need to integrate betwen tafsir studies and scientific research to qur`anic contemplating.

Abstract

Diseases in the vine can affect the quality and quantity of grape production. The majority of members of the Caru Wine Club (ACC) still do not know the type of disease in the vine and how to control it. This activity aims to provide assistance in fungal control to ACC partners. The implementation method is through direct assistance to ACC partners in Caru hamlet, Bajang village, Mlarak District, Ponorogo Regency consisting of 22 members. The training stage begins with plant identification, training and practice of making sulfur jaddam fungicides, as well as control by spraying sulfur jaddam fungicides. The results of the training showed that ACC partners were already able to create sulfur jaddam fungicides, identify plants infested with fungi, and spray skills correctly. Spraying is carried out once a week for one month. The impact of this activity proves that grape plants that have been sprayed using the sulfur jaddam fungicide can reduce pests on grape plants. The sulfur jaddam fungicide applied to the vine is able to reduce diseases in the vine so that the vine is quite resistant to disease and thrives. To maximize crop yields, partners need to be disciplined regarding the time of spraying grapes because it will affect the growth of fungi that can damage plants if the spraying of jaddam sulfur fungicide is inconsistent.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rise of ableism. This research aims to discover Disability in the Qur'an Manifestation of Repositioning from Exclusive to Inclusive. This research uses library research by making the library the primary source for obtaining data. This research uses a qualitative approach to examine the theme of disability in the Qur'an and how the sacred text can be understood in a modern context as an effort to reposition from exclusive to inclusive. The results show that the Qur'an has many words for disability, namely, a'ma/ umyun, akmah, bukmun, shummun, and a'raj. There are 38 verses spread across 26 surahs of the Quran. There are four verses in the entire Qur'an about a person that speaks directly about their attitude towards a disabled person or refers to a person with a physical disability. The Qur'an sees people with disabilities as having to be tolerant like ordinary people or behave equally towards others, especially those who are weak to discrimination, which is a manifestation of the repositioning of exclusive to inclusive.

Abstract

The folktales of Mirah and Golan in Ponorogo, East Java, Indonesia, are deeply embedded with cultural and social values, reflecting political polarity closely linked to group conflicts and dynamics. This journal analyzes the political polarization depicted in these folktales by identifying the groups involved, their political ideologies, and the forms of conflict that emerge from these ideological divides. Using a qualitative approach and narrative analysis, the study explores the underlying meanings and messages within the tales of Mirah and Golan. The analysis reveals that these folktales illustrate conflicts and group dynamics resulting from divergent political perspectives. These narratives highlight the political polarization experienced by communities within the stories and echo similar phenomena observed in contemporary political landscapes. By examining these folktales, the research sheds light on how historical and cultural narratives can mirror and inform our understanding of current political issues, providing valuable insights into the nature of political conflicts and group interactions in historical and modern contexts.

Abstract

Kurangnya antusias mahasiswa dalam mempelajari dan memahami materi Filsafat Islam disebabkan minimnya variasi media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh para pengajar. Di sisi lain, materi Filsafat Islam merupakan materi yang cukup berat karena materi ini mempelajari bagaimana berpikir secara kritis dan objektif. Sehingga diperlukan suatu media pembelajaran yang dirancang secara baik hingga akan sangat membantu mahasiswa dalam mencerna atau memahami materi pelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D), dengan menggunakan model pengembangan PPE (Planning, Production, dan Evaluation). Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa mempelajari filsafat Islam melalui media sosial instagram cukup efektif untuk kalangan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan responden menyatakan bahwa Instagram cukup baik digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Filsafat Islam. Karena adanya kemudahan aksesibilitas media Instagram bagi mahasiswa secara keseluruhan. Penyajian materi dalam Instagram mudah dipahami dan penyampaian materi tidak hanya audio saja tapi dilengkapi visualisasi yang membantu mahasiswa untuk memahami materinya. Berdasarkan hasil uji deskriptif mencerminkan bahwa media pembelajaran filsafat Islam di Instagram cukup baik sehingga diperlukan pengembangan sesuai dengan hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi.

Abstract

The pesantren-based university has regulations aimed not only at enhancing the academic aspects but also at improving the religiosity of its students. However, some regulations make pesantren students feel burdened, which eventually leads to temperamental characteristics that hinder the students' development of their religiosity. This creates a dilemma where the pesantren's main goal is to strengthen the religiosity of its students. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of temperamental characteristics on the level of religiosity among pesantren students. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational design. Data collection was carried out using random sampling by distributing questionnaires to undergraduate students at Darussalam Gontor University, with a total of 100 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the study show that temperamental characteristics have only a 6% influence on religiosity, while 94% of religiosity is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. This proves that temperamental characteristics do not significantly affect the level of religiosity among pesantren students.
