Abstract

Indonesia’s diversity may be challenging as it can be a double-edged knife in the context of social interaction. Not only supporting positive development direction, the diversity also carries negative influence that may cause inharmony to Indonesian society. In the context of the millennial generation as the future leader, the diversity is also very important for further discussion in response to the efforts of building a harmonious society. Projecting the case study of millennial generation in Pontianak City of West Borneo, this work aims to explore the level of emotional maturity, religiosity and religious tolerance, as well as to verify the relationship between emotional maturity, religiosity and religious tolerance. It is based on a quantitative approach with a type of causality research project. There were 182 samples in this study. The research results show that the Pontianak City millennial generation is in a high category in terms of emotional maturity, religiosity and religious tolerance. Further, the results have proven that emotional maturity and religiosity have a relationship with religious tolerance, which indicates that each dimension of emotional maturity and religiosity has a relationship with religious tolerance. The findings also show that an additional factor that shapes emotional maturity, religiosity and religious tolerance is the educational level of the millennial generation. This indicates that the higher the level of education of the millennial generation, the higher their emotional maturity, religiosity and religious tolerance.

Abstract

Idealnya masyarakat suku Melayu menjalankan nilai-nilai agama Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, baik dalam lingkup pendidikan, sosial, dan sebagainya. Pemuda Melayu yang mengenyam pendidikan hingga menjadi mahasiswa juga berperan penting dalam mewujudkan hal tersebut. Umumnya mahasiswa ketika telah mencapai tingkat akhir kerap kali merasakan stres yang disebabkan tuntutan penyelesaian tugas dan tanggung jawab. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh intervensi dzikir ini sendiri, setelah dilakukan intervensi dzikir yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa melayu. Pemilihan subjek penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling kepada mahasiswa melayu di IAIN Pontianak. Adapun kriteria khusus dalam menentukan subjek yaitu mahasiswa yang berumur 20 sampai dengan 23 tahun, berjenis kelamin perempuan, mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh perkulihan S1, sedang mengerjakan skripsi dan mengalami stress akademik. Subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala Stress Akademik Mahasiswa Akhir dengan nilai α 0.687. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua dan guru terkait kolaborasi dan membantu keduanya untuk mencapai kesepakatan dalam kolaborasi. Lokasi pengabdian dilaksanakan di SDIT Darul Ihsan. Peserta pengabdian berjumlah 22 orang yang terdiri dari orang tua dan guru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki 2 tahap yaitu Psikoedukasi dan FGD. Psikoedukasi bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan peserta terkait kolaborasi. FGD bertujuan untuk menghasilkan kesepakatan kolaborasi antara orang tua dan guru. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada Sabtu, 04 November 2023. Kuisioner yang terdiri dari 20 soal terkait kolaborasi orang tua dan guru digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukkan bahwa ada perubahan tingkat pengetahuan peserta terkait kolaborasi orang tua dan guru. Selain itu pada kegiatan ini terciptanya 5 butir bentuk kolaborasi yang telah disepakati orang tua dan guru. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, kolaborasi antara orang tua dan guru menjadi lebih optimal dengan kesepakatan yang telah tercapai.

Abstract

One of the country's entry points is the National Border Post (PLBN), which is the main key in preventing the entry of the COVID-19 pandemic into Indonesia because many people come and go from various places so that the country's entrance in border areas becomes one of the places at risk of spread. COVID-19 virus such as in Entikong District and Jagoi Babang District. This research was conducted to determine the description of knowledge, attitudes, prevention efforts, health service facilities and health promotions in the Entikong and Jagoi Babang border areas, determine the influence of prevention efforts on the incidence of COVID-19, determine the influence of health service facilities and health promotions on the incidence of COVID-19 and find out the reality of implementing 3T. This research uses a mix method research design, namely a research step that combines two forms of research approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 156 respondents who were divided into two groups, namely the case group and the control group. The following is a description of the research results, namely: 1) The case group in the Entikong border area has the highest presentation of low knowledge, poor attitude presentation, poor presentation of prevention efforts, and poor health facility presentation compared to the Jagoi Babang border area and the two regions combined, 2 ) There is a significant influence in efforts to prevent the incidence of COVID - 19, 3) There is a significant influence of health service facilities and health promotions in preventing the incidence of COVID - 19, 4) There are factors that encourage and hinder someone from carrying out a COVID - 19 test in the area borders, 5) There are obstacles in implementing the handling of COVID - 19 in border areas, and 6) There are problems in implementing handling of COVID - 19 in border areas..

Abstract

Concentration difficulties among students pose a significant barrier to effective learning. Observational findings suggest that some students struggle to maintain focus, as evidenced by drowsiness and disengagement during lectures. This study aimed to investigate the impact of listening to Al-Quran murottal on college students' concentration levels. Employing a one-group pretest-posttest design, data was collected using digit span tasks and interviews from three randomly selected participants. Results revealed a notable increase in average concentration scores from 6.3 to 9 post-intervention. Furthermore, interview data indicated that two-thirds of the participants perceived an improvement in their concentration abilities. Based on both quantitative and qualitative findings, this study concludes that listening to Al-Quran murottal can positively influence students' concentration. Further research with a larger sample size and a more complex design is needed to generalize these findings.

Abstract

Permasalahan terkait lingkungan dan perilaku membuang sampah sangat sering dijumpai pada anak-anak karena sebagian dari mereka belum memahami pentingnya menjaga lingkungan.  Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan pertama mengetahui pengaruh permainan ular tangga dalam meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan perilaku membuang sampah. Tujuan kedua mengetahui gambaran perubahan peningkatan  pengaruh edukasi dan permainan ular tangga dalam meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan perilaku membuang sampah. Adapun hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah ada perubahan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan perilaku membuang sampah pada siswa setelah permainan Ular Tangga. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengaan pra-experimental mengunakan design One Group Pretest-Posttest. Pemilihan subjek mengunakan tehnik purposive sampling. Berikut beberapa kriteria yang disyaratkan: berstatus siswa SD, berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan, sering membuang sampah sembarangan dan tidak pada tempatnya, direkomendasikan oleh kepala sekolah untuk mengikuti pelatihan, dan bersedia mengikuti pelatihan hingga selesai. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kesadaran lingkungan dengan nilai cronbach alfaa 0,875 dan skala perilaku membuang sampah sembarangan 0,818. Selain itu terdapat data kualitatif berupa observasi. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan tingkat kesadaran lingkungan dan perilaku membuang sampah sembarangan pada siswa di sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan baik secara kuali dan kuantitatif.

Abstract

Anxiety problems that occur in UGD and ICU nurses are very vulnerable to occurring because of the many demands they have to face. The aim of this study was to reveal the effect of dhikr relaxation therapy on reducing anxiety levels in ER and ICU nurses. One of the reasons this research topic is important is to provide knowledge to ER and ICU nurses that anxiety can be overcome by carrying out dhikr relaxation therapy. The research design uses a quantitative and qualitative approach to the type of experimental psychology, namely pre-experimental design using a One-group Pretest-Posttest Design. The hypothesis of this research is that there is an effect of dhikr relaxation therapy on reducing anxiety levels in ER and ICU nurses. Data were collected using the TMAS anxiety scale with a significant value of 0.028 (p < 0.05), which shows that there are differences in anxiety in ER and ICU nurses before and after training. Thus, dhikr relaxation therapy training is effective in reducing anxiety levels in ER and ICU nurses.

Abstract

Father has a significant role in the family. The loss of the father caused a deep sadness for his son. This sadness can affect one's independence dynamics, especially in achievements. This study explored the development of independence and its impact on academic achievement in high-achieving students who had lost their fathers. Through qualitative case study research, two high-achieving students from IAIN Pontianak were investigated using in-depth interviews and observations. The data is analyzed by Milles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings revealed diverse experiences in the formation and development of independence. One participant established independence post-bereavement, which subsequently contributed to improved academic performance. Conversely, the other participant possessed pre-existing independence, which facilitated their adjustment and achievement following their father's death. Overall, the study underscores the crucial role of independence in shaping the academic trajectories of bereaved students. It highlights how independence, encompassing emotional, economic, intellectual, and social dimensions, not only enhances academic success but also equips students to navigate the challenges and emotional turmoil associated with parental loss.

Abstract

Interaksi sosial merupakan sebuah keterampilan krusial yang harus dimiliki oleh anak-anak usia sekolah dasar seiring denga perkembangan dan pola bermain mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas permainan tradisional terhadap interaksi sosial anak sekolah dasar di SDN 34 Pontianak. Metode penelitian ini mengguanakan desain eksperimen One Group Pretest Posttest terhadap 15 subjek yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hasil menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan interaksi sosial yang dilihat dari perubahan pada 4 orang anak berdasarkan hasil observasi dan lembar kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan munculnya indikator-indikator dalam aspek interaksi dalam interaksi sosial anak setelah terlibat dalam permainan tradisional. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini membuktikan efektifitas permainan tradisional dalam meningkatkan interaksi sosial anak dan memerikan implikasi pada pendidikan karakter.
