Abstract

Hasil dari pengabdian ini dapat dirangkum sebagai berikut: salah satu tujuan dari kegiatan PkM ini adalah untuk meningkatkan produktivitas masyarakat umum dengan melakukan hilirisasi hasil laut di Desa Penutuk. Permasalahan utama yang dibahas adalah rendahnya harga produk yang dibuat dari hasil penjualan mentah tersebut, serta kurangnya pengetahuan dan usaha dari masyarakat umum untuk mengkonversi hasil penjualan tersebut menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai jual yang lebih tinggi.  Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam proses hilirisasi, diversifikasi produk, dan strategi pemasaran. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah hasil laut menjadi berbagai produk olahan, seperti kerupuk ikan, abon ikan, dan olahan lainnya, yang berdampak positif pada peningkatan pendapatan dan produktivitas masyarakat Desa Penutuk. Pentingnya hasil pengabdian ini terletak pada peningkatan keterampilan dan pemahaman masyarakat nelayan dan petrani untuk menggapai kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat pesisir melalui pengembangan produk lokal.

Abstract

The village economy supported by MSMEs is very important for the progress of a village, especially in the islands, but limited access provides minimal opportunities for MSMEs to develop. Kumbung Village, located in South Bangka Regency, is one of the villages that has the above problems, therefore in increasing the competence of MSMEs, it is necessary to socialise the potential and use of digital technology, especially the use of intelligence that is relatively easy and inexpensive to use. Community service activities are carried out at the Kumbung Village Office with the target of village officials and the community, especially technology-savvy teenagers. The community service programme focused on the use of artificial intelligence in designing strategies to improve the quality of MSMEs and explore the potential of the village that can support the economy of residents. In the service programme, the practice of using Gemini.Ai was carried out to find the potential of MSMEs, making logos as product branding, and marketing strategies. The results obtained were the addition of skills of socialisation participants related to the use of Gemini.Ai in providing ideas and strategies as well as branding village MSME products with positive results and participants understood the advantages and disadvantages in the Gemini.Ai application in providing assistance for the marketing process of MSME products.

Abstract

Coarse aggregates in concrete play a crucial role in determining concrete quality. Limitations in the availability of coarse aggregate materials at a construction site often pose challenges in producing high-quality concrete. Utilizing local materials such as Batu Puru as coarse aggregates is seen as having good potential to replace the role of conventional Batu Granit in concrete mixes. This study identifies the characteristics and potential of Batu Puru in normal concrete mixes with compositions of 0%, 25%, 50%, and 100% compared to conventional coarse aggregates. Research findings indicate that Batu Puru contains 60% quartz and 40% magnetite mineral, resulting in its reddish color, with Batu Puru's strength being 8.7% lower than that of Batu Granit based on in-situ Schmidt Hammer tests. The high absorption and abrasion values of Batu Puru pose challenges in controlling concrete quality, affecting factors such as water-cement ratio and concrete curing time. The average compressive strength values of concrete samples are 17.93 MPa, 14.48 MPa, 16.33 MPa, and 16.56 MPa for compositions of 0%, 25%, 50%, and 100% respectively. These values meet the national standard compressive strength target of 14.53 MPa with a quality level of K-175. Concrete mix compositions closely resembling the control samples using Batu Granit as conventional coarse aggregates are achieved when using Batu Puru entirely as coarse aggregates, with a difference of approximately 7.64%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh beban tekan pada respons struktural bangunan beton dengan memanfaatkan data yang diperoleh dari aplikasi SAP2000. Fokus penelitian adalah pada kolom bangunan dari PT DAEMYUNG. Beberapa besaran seperti gaya aksial (V2), gaya geser (V3), temperatur (T), momen lentur (M2), dan momen torsi (M3) dipilih sebagai fitur-fitur yang mempengaruhi respons struktural. Metode analisis yang digunakan melibatkan regresi linier dan XGBoost, serta penyetelan parameter untuk model XGBoost. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan Mean Squared Error (MSE) dan R-squared untuk mengukur akurasi model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model XGBoost, terutama setelah penyetelan parameter, memberikan akurasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan regresi linier. R-squared (Best XGBoost) mencapai 0.9945, menunjukkan kemampuan model dalam menggambarkan hubungan antara beban tekan dan respons struktural. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman mendalam tentang interaksi beban tekan dan respons struktural, dengan potensi aplikasi pada perencanaan dan desain struktural yang lebih efisien. Selain itu, model prediktif yang dikembangkan dapat menjadi alat yang berguna untuk proyeksi respons struktural pada kondisi beban tekan yang berbeda.

Abstract

Discontinuity in a rock mass has an influence on the stability of a rock slope because it is one of the controlling factors of slope failure. In this study, an analysis was carried out on the role of discontinuities, namely joints and lithic tuff layers on slope stability and the effect of persistent parameters and joint roughness on the safety factor of safety factor. The analysis used is the effect of changes in the thickness of the lithic tuff, persistence and the value of joint roughness on the value of the safety factor. Processing of slope stability data using Rocscience RS2 Software with Finite Element Method modeling with rock mass modeling used in the analysis, namely the Veneziano Model. The results showed that an increase in the thickness of the lithic tuff layer resulted in a decrease in the safety factor of the slope up to 1.37%. The effect of the persistence parameter on the slope safety factor was found that the higher the persistence value, the lower the slope safety factor value up to 2,9% and changes in the JRC value decreased the safety factor value up to 1,7%.

Abstract

Water is one of the important elements in supporting human life so that optimal use of water can have a big impact on life. Water-saving practices, especially during ablution, are often uncontrollable, resulting in water-wasting behavior. In addition, the acidic pH conditions in some of the water samples used are feared to have a long-term adverse impact on individual users. This research provides a solution in saving water with an ablution wastewater recycling system for reuse by utilizing Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring that can record water usage discharge using a flowmeter while connected to a smartphone. In the simulation, a prototype is used which is designed as a water recycling system that can be monitored with the addition of a filtration system to filter waste and improve water quality, namely Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), and pH. The results showed that in total 52 samples, the average water usage was 2.45 liters / person and 42.31% were in the wasteful category. Comparison of water quality before and after filtering has a significant increase with TDS values reaching 118%, DO 41% and pH 42.31%. This increase shows better water quality after filtering so that it can be reused and the recycling results in the system used have an efficiency of 44% based on the comparison of monitoring volume and actual volume of water.

Abstract

Lapisan tanah merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam pembangunan infrastruktur sehingga banyak pertimbangan dan metode pendekatan dalam identifikasi lapisan tanah bawah permukaan. Salah satu metode yang paling mudah dan umum digunakan yaitu menggunakan metode geolistrik. Metode ini didasarkan pada perbedaan resistivitas material bawah permukaan termasuk tanah yang mencirikan jenis suatu lapisan. Metode konfigurasi wenner-alpha digunakan untuk identifikasi lapisan tanah untuk tiap lintasan sebanyak enam lintasan penyelidikan. Data lapangan kemudian dianalisis dengan perangkat lunak RES2DINV untuk meodelkan penampang bawah permukaan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga lapisan dominan penyusun lokasi penyelidikan yaitu lempung, lempung pasiran, dan pasir dengan indikasi lapisan keras pada kedalaman 15-30 m dengan rentang kesalahan interpretasi data 11,6 – 21,6%.

Abstract

Central Bangka Regency has been facing growing environmental pressures resulting from the expansion of oil palm plantations, mining operations, and accelerated urban development. These activities have caused considerable changes in land cover, posing a threat to the sustainability of local ecosystems. This study aims to examine land cover dynamics between 2019 and 2022 and to forecast future conditions for 2030 as a basis for sustainable spatial planning. Sentinel-2A satellite imagery was processed using the Google Earth Engine(GEE) platform, employing the Random Forest(RF) algorithm to classify land cover into five categories: forest, water, built-up, oil palm plantations, and barren. Model validation through the Overall Accuracy metric demonstrated strong classification performance, reaching 0.90297 in 2019 and 0.90849 in 2022. The analysis showed a 21.63% reduction in forest area, alongside significant increases in oil palm and built-up land. The projection for 2030 suggests that forest cover may decline to just 3.35% of the total area, with oil palm plantations and built-up land becoming dominant. These results emphasize the necessity of implementing sustainable land-use management strategies to maintain a balance between economic growth and environmental conservation in Central Bangka Regency.

Abstract

Tanah dasar merupakan elemen penting dalam konstruksi perkerasan jalan karena berfungsi sebagai lapisan penopang utama beban lalu lintas. Namun, kondisi tanah dasar dengan daya dukung rendah sering menyebabkan penurunan dan kerusakan dini perkerasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik tanah dasar serta mengevaluasi efektivitas perkuatan geotekstil dalam meningkatkan stabilitas dan kinerja subgrade. Metode penelitian meliputi pengujian parameter tanah dengan analisis balik kemudian pemodelan numerik dilakukan dengan analisis maju untuk mengetahui sifat fisik dan mekanik tanah menggunakan aplikasi PLAXIS 2D untuk mempelajari respon deformasi, tegangan, dan faktor keamanan pada kondisi sebelum perbaikan tanah tanpa perkuatan dan dengan perkuatan geotekstil. Hasil pemodelan menunjukkan perbaikan tanah dengan perkuatan geotekstil mampu meningkatkan kekuatan tanah dasar secara signifikan, ditandai dengan berkurangnya deformasi vertikal semula 22-23 cm menjadi 0,6-2,9 cm dan faktor keamanan global meningkat dari 1,031 menjadi 1,54–1,62.

Abstract

ampah merupakan salah satu permasalahan besar yang harus ditangani pemerintah dan masyarakat. Sampah dapat berasal dari sekolah. Tim pengabdian melakukan kegiatan Penyuluhan Pendidikan Peduli Lingkungan Melalui Pemilihan Jenis Sampah Bagi Siswa Sekolah Dasar yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya pemilihan jenis sampah, dampak sampah, dan pengelolaan sampah yang baik. Tempat pelaksanaan kegiatan SD Negeri 12 Lubuk Besar melibatkan siswa kelas V sebanyak 15 orang dan siswa kelas VI sebanyak 15 orang. Metode dalam pengabdian ini adalah penyuluhan dengan 3 tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan kegiatan disimpulkan bahwa siswa SD Negeri 12 Lubuk Besar sangat antusias dan termotivasi mengikuti kegiatan. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar. Dari hasil pretest dan posttest didapat bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan yaitu dari hasil pretest 54 menjadi 81,67. Sedangkan untuk aspek keterampilan memilah sampah didapat hasil aspek identifikasi dampak sampah dengan nilai 85, memilah sampah B3 77,63, memilah sampah an organic 79,83, memilah sampah organic 81,33 dan identifikasi sumber sampah 83,1.Abstract: Waste is one of the significant problems that the government and society must address. Waste can come from schools. The community service team conducted an Environmental Care Education Counseling activity through Waste Type Selection for Elementary School Students, which aims to provide an understanding of the importance of choosing the type of waste, the impact of waste, and good waste management. The place for implementing the activities of SD Negeri 12 Lubuk Besar involved 15 fifth-grade students and 15 sixth-grade students. The method in this service is counseling with 3 stages, namely the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Based on the activity, it was concluded that the SD Negeri 12 Lubuk Besar students were enthusiastic and motivated to participate. The activity went smoothly. From the results of the pretest and posttest, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge, namely from the pretest result of 54 to 81.67. As for the skills aspect of sorting waste, the results of identifying the impact of waste with a score of 85, sorting B3 waste 77.63, sorting an organic waste 79.83, sorting organic waste 81.33, and identifying the source of waste 83.1.
