Abstract

This research aims to see the mapping of the traits and skills of leadership of private universities in Gorontalo City in Era 4.0. This research method uses qualitative research with data analysis techniques using the Interactive Analysis model from Miles and Hiberman. The results of this study reveal that the quality of leadership that must be possessed by PTS in Gorontalo City is integrity, while for the skills that must be possessed by the Leaders of Private Universities (PTS) in Gorontalo City are technical skills. The results of this study. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the nature of skills that is the factor for the success of the leadership of private universities in Gorontalo City in Era 4.0 is integrity. Meanwhile, leadership skills of private universities in Gorontalo City are more likely to be technical leadership. Thus, it is hoped that the Leadership must be able to adapt to the current conditions, in the era of all digitalization, must be able to take advantage of the available IT and it is necessary to maintain and maintain a noble character as a noble image of leadership.

Abstract

This research tries to explain the influence of education and partici-pation in decision-making on women's empowerment, by observing a sample of 53 women in the village. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) methods using the SMARTPLS version 3 software. The samples were chosen and gathered via purposive sampling and disseminated us-ing an online questionnaire using Google form. The results show that education has an insignificant effect, with a Tstatistics value of 5.600 and P values of 0.000, while participation in decision-making has a significant effect, with a Tstatistics value of 2.295 and P value of 0.022 on women's empowerment.

Abstract

This research employs bibliometric analysis to explore the intersection of technology adoption and employee well-being. By systematically retrieving and examining scholarly articles from prominent academic databases, the study highlights the evolution of technology in workplaces and its significant impact on employee wellness. Key insights are drawn from a range of bibliometric metrics, including citation analysis and co-occurrence maps, revealing trends, gaps, and emerging themes within the literature. The study demonstrates a critical shift in scholarly focus from traditional employee management practices to the integration of sophisticated technologies aimed at enhancing well-being. The results underscore the potential of technological innovations to improve workplace environments and suggest areas for further exploration, particularly in the realms of big data, e-government, and cross-disciplinary applications.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how factors such as price, brand, and product quality can influence smartphone purchasing decisions. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. This study conducted a survey with a sample of users or consumers who purchased smartphones at the Kirana Smartphone Store. Data were collected through a questionnaire that assessed consumer perceptions of price, brand, and product quality that influence smartphone purchasing decisions. The results of the study showed that price had a negative and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the results of the t-test and significance value, it is known that the Price Variable (X1) is indicated by a calculated t-value of -3.499> t-table - 1.998 and a significance value of 0.001 <0.05. In addition, based on the results of the t-test and significance value, it is known that the Brand Variable (X2) is indicated by a calculated t value of 2.245> t-table 1.998 and a significance value of 0.002 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the brand variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the product quality variable cannot influence consumer purchasing decisions. This is based on the results of the t-test and the significance value is known that the Product Quality Variable (X3) is indicated by a calculated t value of 0.689 < t-table 1.998 and a significance value of 0.000 > 0.05. Thus, the Product Quality variable is stated to have no influence on Purchasing Decisions.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan judul "Pemberdayaan BUMDES: Solusi Inovatif untuk Meningkatkan Ekonomi Desa" dilaksanakan di Desa Langagon dengan fokus pada pengembangan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES). Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengelola BUMDES dan memaksimalkan potensi ekonomi lokal. Melalui serangkaian pelatihan dan workshop, masyarakat diberikan keterampilan dalam manajemen usaha, pemasaran produk, dan pengelolaan keuangan. Dampak dari kegiatan ini terlihat dalam beberapa aspek. Pertama, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pendapatan BUMDES, yang berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pendapatan desa secara keseluruhan. Kedua, kegiatan ini berhasil menciptakan lapangan kerja baru, sehingga mengurangi angka pengangguran di Desa Langagon. Ketiga, terjadi peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kolaborasi dalam pengembangan usaha lokal. Selain aspek ekonomi, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat solidaritas sosial di antara warga, yang semakin aktif berpartisipasi dalam pengelolaan BUMDES. Dengan demikian, model pemberdayaan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi desa lain dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi, serta meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat Desa Langagon secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The village government apparatus is an institutional capacity of village government that functions to serve the interests of the community/public in the village, the presence of the village secretary has a very crucial role in regulating administration at the village level. Sometimes the placement of village secretaries that are not in accordance with their abilities can result in a decrease in performance, as this research was conducted, namely for the role of the secretary in the arrangement of village administration in Tolondadu 1 Village, Bolaang Uki District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The method used in this study is to use a qualitative design approach because the main focus is on the quality of the analysis, not data that has statistical properties, this research was carried out at the Tolondadu I Village Office, Bolaang Uki District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency. For 2 months and 2 weeks starting from April 17, 2023 to June 28, 2023. In the study of the Village Secretary, it can be concluded that its performance has a significant influence on the efficiency of public services. It is shown from the results of the interview that the performance of the Village Secretary is considered positive. Recognized as responsive and honest in village management. However, all agreed that further improvements in the education sector and more social programs are needed to help underprivileged families in the villages.

Abstract

This study explores the mediating role of psychological empowerment in the relationship between transformational leadership and innovative work behavior (IWB) in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 165 employees across various sectors. Constructs were measured using a Likert scale (1–5) and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results reveal that transformational leadership significantly influences both psychological empowerment and IWB. Furthermore, psychological empowerment mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and IWB, highlighting its critical role in fostering innovation. These findings emphasize the importance of leadership strategies that enhance psychological empowerment to drive innovation in the workplace. The study provides theoretical insights and practical recommendations for managers and policymakers aiming to cultivate innovative cultures within organizations.
