Abstract

The focus of this research was to determine the implementation of Pioneer Teaching Campus (PTC) 2020 activities as a forerunner to driving literacy and numeracy learning at elementary schools. The type of this research was qualitative research with a narrative approach. The stages in this narrative research included (1) identification of phenomena to be studied, (2) determining participants allowing researchers to study the phenomena, (3) gathering information (experiences) from participants, (4) retelling information (experiences) from participants, (5) collaborating with participants, and (6) writing narratives based on information (experiences) from participants. The results showed that the implementation of PTC 2020 was very helpful for teachers in target schools, especially in literacy and numeracy learning since it was common for many teachers to be reluctant to carry out literacy and numeracy learning in their classes, even though literacy and numeracy programs had been promoted for a long time. Many factors caused this condition, ranging from age that affected motivation, teachers' understanding of literacy and numeracy learning, to the limited ability of teachers to use technology.

Abstract

Papua red fruit (Pandanus conoideus Lam) is one species of the genus Pandanus that grows naturally almost all over the land of Papua that has strong antioxidant potential that is widely applied in skin care. The purpose of this study was to find out the formulation of preparation making and evaluation of peel-off gel masks using variations in the concentration of papua red fruit oil extract. Methods used to make peel-off gel mask formulas to obtain high-quality preparations through evaluation stages include organoleptic testing, homogeneity, pH, spread test, dry power test, skin irritation test, viscosity test, and hedonic testing. The results showed that the preparation of peel-off gel mask extract of papua red fruit oil was successfully developed with good physical stability from the results of evaluation testing. The best peel-off gel mask formula in the study was a formula with a concentration of Papua red fruit oil extract of 0.5%b/v.

Abstract

This article was prepared with the aim of analyzing the socio-emotional development of fifth graders and to find out problems related to socio-emotional development that arise during learning from home. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data sources consisting of classroom teacher interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that during the implementation of learning from home, the socio-emotional development of fifth graders continues but there are several problems that arise related to regulating emotions, using emotions effectively and establishing relationships. For example, students tend to take aggressive actions as a form of conveying emotions, lack of sense of responsibility for tasks, and low ability to establish social relationships. These problems can occur due to several causes such as limited interaction and communication between teachers and students, the inability of parents to replace the teacher's role to guide and control students and changes in the environment and student learning styles. Therefore, it is hoped that further researchers will be able to identify further and find ways to solve the problems that arise.

Abstract

The discovery of the Coronavirus Disease virus or what is often called Covid-19 in Indonesia has caused several impacts, especially in the world of education. With the increase in positive cases of this virus, schools are doing home learning. The implementation of home learning is carried out for a long period of time so that it can result in learning loss. Learning Loss is the non-optimal learning process that results in the loss of specific and general knowledge and skills, a decline in academic achievement and most often an extended gap or discontinuity in education. In this study using descriptive qualitative methods using research techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of face-to-face meetings limited to elementary school students. The results of this study indicate that limited face-to-face meetings have a positive impact, and limited face-to-face meetings are expected to reduce learning loss.

Abstract

The type of research used by the researchers is generally aimed at developing a learning media or improving existing products to make them more effective. This study is development research, specifically focusing on the development of an interactive E-book-based media for Science learning in fifth-grade elementary school students, specifically covering the topic of the human movement organ. The method employed in this research is Research and Development (RnD), using the 4-D Thiagarajan model (Definition, Design, Development, Dissemination). The research instruments used include Validation Sheets (media experts and subject matter experts), Questionnaires (student responses), and Test Sheets (Learning Outcome Tests). The study results in the creation of an electronic medium, an interactive E-book, that completed high-quality criteria in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The media's validation results by the subject matter experts were 87.5%, and by the media experts were 86.5%, both categorized as "Highly Feasible." The practicality of the media was rated at 92.2% with the criterion of "Practical" based on student learning outcomes. The effectiveness test showed that 87% of students achieved scores that completed the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). In conclusion, the developed product obtained high-quality criteria in terms of suitability, practicality, and effectiveness.

Abstract

His research aims to analyze the mutual cooperation character of elementary school students in the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model to realize the Pancasila Student Profile, this is one of the innovative approaches that is able to integrate material mastery with student character building through project completion activities. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that the implementation of the PjBL model achieved students' mutual cooperation character. Students are able to work together in groups. Shared responsibility is seen from students' initiatives in helping group members. Social care is reflected in the empathetic attitude of students who support group friends. In addition, students show the behavior of respecting each other's opinions. Solidarity also increased, as seen from students' efforts to support each other for the success of the group. This research indicates that PjBL can be a relevant learning strategy to instill mutual cooperation values that are in line with the Pancasila Student Profile.
