Abstract

Background: Obesity is reaching global epidemic proportions with a threefold increase from 1975-2016. The percentage of adolescents aged 12-19 years old who are obese has increased from 5% -21% in the same period. The SCT can determine dietary behavior and regular physical activity. Study shows that a healthy diet, regular activity and social support contribute to weight gain. This study aims to estimate the effect of diet, physical activity, social support on overweight girls.Subjects and Method: This study was an observational analytic study with a cross sectional design. The sample size was 120 study subjects using stratified random sampling. Data analysis with path analysis using the Stata 14 program.Results: Overweight/ obesity was directly reduced by healthy diet (b= -3.62; 95% CI= -5.08 to -2.15; p<0.001), healthy behavior (b= -2.02; 95% CI= -3.40 to -0.67; p= 0.003), and high physical activity (b= -1.74; 95% CI= -3.40 to -0.10; p= 0.038). Overweight/ obesity was indirectly affected by vicarious learning, maternal education, family income, and family support.Conclusion: Overweight/ obesity is directly reduced by healthy diet, healthy behavior, and high physical activity. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pendekatan sosio-emosional dalam pengelolaan kelas di sekolah dasar, serta dampaknya terhadap iklim kelas dan perkembangan siswa. Pendekatan sosio-emosional yang diterapkan bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan kelas yang aman, inklusif, dan mendukung interaksi positif antar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi pustaka dan analisis data deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis interaktif dengan triangulasi sumber untuk meningkatkan validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan sosio-emosional berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, mengurangi perilaku disruptif, serta memperbaiki hubungan antara guru dan siswa. Selain itu, pendekatan ini juga berdampak positif pada perkembangan keterampilan sosial-emosional dan karakter siswa, termasuk kemampuan untuk mengelola emosi dan menyelesaikan konflik. Meskipun demikian, tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keragaman siswa, keterbatasan waktu, dan kurangnya pelatihan bagi guru. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru serta integrasi pengembangan sosial-emosional dalam kurikulum. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi kebijakan pendidikan untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih holistik dan mendukung perkembangan siswa secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

The Qur’anic literacy mentoring at Al-Ikhlas TPA Margorejo aims to improve children's skills in reading and writing the Qur’an, as well as their motivation to learn. Initial observations revealed challenges such as low interest, limited teaching methods, and lack of continuous mentoring. The program began with 5 participants and grew to 10. This activity used a descriptive approach based on the ABCD principles, employing interactive methods such as fun learning and prayer practice. The results indicate positive changes in children’s learning motivation, Qur’anic reading and writing skills, and participation in congregational prayer. The program also helped facilitators develop more effective teaching methods. Despite challenges like time constraints and varying understanding among participants, the activity successfully created an enjoyable learning environment and can be implemented to enhance Qur’anic literacy sustainably. This program is expected to significantly contribute to improving religious education quality in the community. Keywords: Fun learning, Learning motivation, Quranic literacy assistance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Al-Qur’an sebagai landasan pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini dalam rangka menghadapi tantangan pergeseran nilai moral akibat globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi. Masalah utama yang diangkat adalah kurangnya integrasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dalam pendidikan karakter di lingkungan keluarga maupun institusi formal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka dengan metode tafsir maudhu'i dan hermeneutika untuk menganalisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an seperti kejujuran, kasih sayang, keadilan, kesabaran, dan tanggung jawab sangat relevan untuk pembentukan karakter anak usia dini. Tahapan implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis Al-Qur’an meliputi pengenalan, pembiasaan, pengalaman, internalisasi, dan penguatan. Abstract

Abstrak Serat pangan berperan penting dalam menjaga kesehatan, termasuk mengatur kadar gula darah, menurunkan kolesterol, meningkatkan keseimbangan mikrobiota usus, serta berfungsi sebagai prebiotik. Namun, konsumsi serat masyarakat masih rendah, termasuk di Desa Tamansari, meskipun daerah ini memiliki potensi air kelapa yang dapat diolah menjadi nata de coco, yaitu pangan fungsional tinggi serat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) dalam mengolah air kelapa menjadi nata de coco sebagai upaya optimalisasi pemenuhan serat pangan harian. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada September 2025 dan diikuti oleh 25 anggota KWT. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi analisis situasi, penyuluhan kesehatan melalui ceramah, demonstrasi pembuatan nata de coco, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Penyuluhan membahas manfaat serat dan teknis pembuatan nata de coco, sedangkan demonstrasi memberikan pengalaman langsung mulai dari persiapan bahan hingga fermentasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta secara signifikan, ditandai dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata dari 4,56 pada pre-test menjadi 7,64 pada post-test (selisih 3,08; p = 0,000). Secara kualitatif, peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan menyatakan kesiapan untuk mempraktikkan pembuatan nata de coco secara mandiri sebagai pangan sehat maupun peluang usaha rumah tangga. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan literasi gizi dan keterampilan pengolahan pangan fungsional berbasis potensi lokal. Diharapkan pelatihan lanjutan mengenai pengemasan dan pemasaran dapat memperkuat keberlanjutan program. Kata kunci: kelompok wanita tani; nata de coco; pangan fungsional; serat pangan Abstract Dietary fiber plays an essential role in maintaining health, including regulating blood glucose levels, reducing cholesterol, improving gut microbiota balance, and functioning as a prebiotic. However, fiber intake among the community remains low, including in Tamansari Village, despite the area’s abundant coconut water that can be processed into nata de coco, a high-fiber functional food. This community program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the Women Farmer Group (KWT) in processing coconut water into nata de coco as an effort to optimize daily fiber intake. The activity was conducted in September 2025 and involved 25 KWT members. The implementation methods included situation analysis, health education through lectures, demonstration of nata de coco production, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test assessments. The educational sessions addressed the benefits of dietary fiber and the technical steps for producing nata de coco, while the demonstration provided hands-on experience ranging from ingredient preparation to fermentation. The results indicated a significant increase in participants’ knowledge, as reflected by the rise in average scores from 4.56 (pre-test) to 7.64 (post-test) (difference: 3.08; p = 0.000). Qualitatively, participants demonstrated high enthusiasm and expressed readiness to independently produce nata de coco as a healthy food option as well as a potential home-based business opportunity. This program successfully improved nutrition literacy and skills in processing functional foods based on local resources. Further training on packaging and marketing is recommended to support the sustainability of the program. Keywords: dietary fiber; functional food; nata de coco; women farmer group
