Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a Muslim-majority population reaching up to 87.18%. therefore, the government guarantees that citizens consume halal products as stated in UU No. 33 Th. 2014 about the guarantee of halal products as a halal regulation of food products, including pharmaceutical preparation. As a pharmaceutical industry, PT. X evaluates the criteria of halal products. This research evaluated the implementation of the halal production requirement of Vitamin C tablet at PT. X. This observational, practical research and interview method evaluated the data by analyzing and checking the halal requirement components. Evaluation is carried out by analysis using the checklist method. The researchers adjusted the 12 indicators of halal production of Vitamin C tablet at PT. X. Data collection was carried out by filling out a checklist from The Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) regarding halal criteria at the production stage of pharmaceutical products at PT. X. Based on the research results, it is known that the production process doesn't fulfill all the indicators for halal production implementation for Vitamin C tablet at PT. X with a percentage of 75%. However, PT. X has made efforts to ensure that the products produced are not contaminated with haram/unclean materials. Therefore, it can be concluded that the vitamin C products from PT. X are guaranteed to be halal.Keywords: Pharmaceutical Industry, Production, Halal

Abstract

Background: Schizophrenia is a chronic disorder that often relapses or is characterized by delusions, hallucinations, confusion, and strange thoughts, abnormal motor behavior and negative symptoms. In overcoming mental disorders, the role of religion is important based on the verses of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet. So that treatment may not only be cured by taking medicine but also by getting closer to the healer. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education on how to take medicine according to sharia in schizophrenic patients in hospitals in Magelang. Methods: This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection in this study was carried out in February-March 2022. This study used a questionnaire as a data collection instrument and information delivery media using leaflets. Result & Conclusion: Characteristics of schizophrenic patients are mostly male (60%) with an age range of 15-18 years (73%) and there is an influence of understanding between before and after being given education about taking medication according to sharia in schizophrenia patients.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease often found in Indonesia. Hypertension can be controlled by compliance with taking medication and a healthy lifestyle. One effort to increase compliance is counseling. Pharmacist counseling can provide patient education and understanding of hypertension therapy while ensuring that patients are taking medication appropriately so as to increase compliance and control blood pressure. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of pharmacist counseling on drug compliance on blood pressure values in hypertensive patients at the Semarang Community Health Center. This research is a pre-experimental study with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Data collection was taken in March-April 2019. Blood pressure results were obtained before and after counseling with a value of p = 0.000 (p 0.05). This research can be concluded that pharmacist counseling can influence medication adherence and systolic and diastolic blood pressure values in hypertensive patients at the Semarang Community Health Center
