Abstract

Collaboration skills are pivotal for students, offering avenues to enhance knowledge, social interaction, self-confidence, and motivation. This study aims to enhance collaboration skills among students in physical education, particularly in the design of systematic rhythmic movement activities using the problem-based learning model. Conducted as classroom action research, the participants were 35 Class XI students from Public Senior High School 3 Banjarbaru. The research utilised a collaborative observation sheet and employed both descriptive and quantitative analysis methods. The results revealed a discernible improvement in collaboration skills between the initial and subsequent cycles. ANOVA tests demonstrated a significant increase after two cycles of learning. This research directly influences the development of collaborative abilities in learners, recognising collaboration skills as crucial in 21st-century education. The collaborative problem-solving approach not only enhances cooperation but also contributes to improved learning outcomes, preparing students for success in both community and work environments. The study sheds light on the efficacy of problem-based learning models, underscoring their vital role in learner development and education. Future research should explore the impact of problem-based learning models using mixed-methods research.

Abstract

Background and Study Aim. Physical fitness is a parameter used to assess a person's ability to perform physical activities, lead a productive life and have good health. The body's ability to overcome fatigue during sports activities is very important to maintain concentration and focus on learning. Therefore, information about the physical fitness of elementary school students is very important to know.Material and Methods. This research method uses a quantitative approach conducted by survey then giving tests and measurements to elementary school students. The sampling technique uses total sampling, so all students in one class are sampled, totaling 25 people. This research instrument uses the 12-Minute Cooper Test. Analysis is assisted using the SPSS 26 application.Results. Based on these results, it shows that physical fitness, especially the endurance of elementary school students, is included in the moderate interpretation with a percentage of 52%. Based on the results of research on the analysis of physical fitness, especially aerobic endurance in elementary school students, it can be concluded that students' physical fitness is still in moderate interpretation.Conclusion. The results of this study serve as a reference for designing lessons to improve physical fitness. That way these results can be taken into consideration in developing exercise programs to improve the physical fitness of elementary school students.

Abstract

Background and Study Aim. Audio-visual media is a tool for conveying information used in learning in the form of sound and image messages. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using audio-visual media to improve rhythmic movement skills.Material and Methods. The study used an experimental method using a one group pretest and posttest design. Students in this study were given treatment in the form of audiovisual media. The subjects of this study were grade V students of State Elementary School 4 Tebas Sambas Regency, totaling 27 people, consisting of 13 male students and 15 female students. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Data collection instruments use non-test instruments in the form of performance observations. The SPSS version 26 application was used to help with data analysis in this investigation.Results. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so the data can be said to be significant. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of audiovisuals to develop rhythmic movement skills in students shows significant effectiveness.Conclusions. These results provide evidence that audiovisual media can be applied to improve rhythmic movement skills in students, especially in elementary schools.

Abstract

Study purpose. The ability to dribble is a very important skill in soccer, because dribbling skills in soccer aim to be able to pass opponents so that players have the opportunity to provide bait. However, there are still many students who have difficulty in dribbling in soccer games. Materials and methods. This research uses a descriptive method in the form of Classroom Action Research. In this study using a learning tool, namely the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The data collection instrument is a test using periodical notes. The subjects in this study were all class XI students of State Senior High School 1, Merau District, Ketapang Regency, totaling 39 students Results. The results showed that there was an increase in cycle I of 25,6%, but this figure was still relatively low, so it was necessary to continue in cycle II. Based on the results in cycle II, it showed that 89.7% of students completed, and there was a difference in the increase in cycle I and cycle II, namely 64.1%. Based on these results, there is an increase in learning outcomes to dribble (soccer) through problem based learning models. Conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the problem based learning model can actually improve the learning outcomes of herding in soccer games. These results can be used as a reference in PJOK learning, especially in big ball game material (soccer).
