Abstract

This research to determine the number of burly and determine the characteristics of igneous rocks in Bukit Cula. The research method used is descriptive quantitative survey. This research was conducted by using a tool that is a geological compass to determine the direction of the stocky and determine the process of sedimentary rock sampling and igneous description of rocks by megascopically. The results of this study obtained several strike-dip values. The strike-dip data is then processed using DIPS software to produce the Rosette Diagram. DIPS is used to analyze the direction of orientation of geological data that is muscular. In the results of observations made, there were 24 muscular burles. Based on strike-dip measurements on Mount Bukitcula it has a horizontal fault. The igneous rock found in Bukitcula Mountain is a type of andesite igneous rock

Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan merupakan salah satu aspek krusial dalam kehidupan manusia yang membutuhkan pengaturan hukum yang jelas dan adil, terutama dalam konteks hukum Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana hukum Islam mengatur interaksi antara pasien dan tenaga medis, termasuk hak dan kewajiban masing-masing pihak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur (library research) untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan hukum antara pasien dan tenaga medis dalam perspektif hukum Islam. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa hubungan hukum antara pasien dan tenaga medis dalam perspektif hukum Islam sangat dipengaruhi oleh prinsip-prinsip keadilan, tanggung jawab, dan penghormatan terhadap hak-hak individu. Temuan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa hukum Islam menyediakan kerangka kerja yang komprehensif dan adil untuk mengatur hubungan antara pasien dan tenaga medis, serta memberikan panduan yang jelas tentang bagaimana menjaga kesehatan.

Abstract

Background: Chemotherapy-induced neutropenia (CIN) is a common and serious complication of chemotherapy in breast cancer patients, leading to increased morbidity, mortality, and treatment disruptions. This study aimed to investigate the association between hematologic profiles and the occurrence of CIN in breast cancer patients receiving anthracycline-based or taxane-based chemotherapy. Methods: A retrospective observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design was conducted using medical records of breast cancer patients treated at the Oncology Surgery Clinic between 2022 and 2023. Sixty patients were included in the study. Hematologic profiles, including hemoglobin and leukocyte counts, were analyzed to assess their association with CIN in both anthracycline- and taxane-based chemotherapy groups. Results: The majority of patients were aged 15-64 years (86.67%), normoweight (65%), had luminal B subtype (63.3%), and were in the locally advanced breast cancer (LABC) stage (45%). Most patients were non-anemic (Hb ≥12 mg/dL) and leukopenic (71.7% and 80%, respectively). No significant association was found between age, nutritional status, or breast cancer stage and CIN (p > 0.05). However, hemoglobin and leukocyte profiles were significantly associated with CIN in both chemotherapy groups (p < 0.05). No association was found between the type of chemotherapy (anthracycline- or taxane-based) and CIN occurrence. Conclusion: Anemia (Hb <12 g/dL) and leukopenia are significant predictors of CIN in breast cancer patients, regardless of the chemotherapy regimen. These findings highlight the importance of monitoring hematologic profiles in these patients to identify those at higher risk of CIN and implement appropriate preventive and management strategies.

Abstract

Jaringan nirkabel merupakan solusi praktis dalam membangun konektivitas jaringan komputer, mendukung efisiensi akses internet di ruang publik dan institusi. Router TP-Link menjadi perangkat utama untuk mengatur dan mendistribusikan IP Address secara dinamis atau statis melalui teknologi kabel maupun nirkabel. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa SMK Swasta Budi Agung Medan dalam membangun jaringan nirkabel menggunakan router TP-Link. Metode pelatihan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung. Materi mencakup pengenalan jaringan nirkabel, fungsi router TP-Link, dan konfigurasi sebagai wireless access point. Hasilnya, pelatihan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan dasar siswa tentang jaringan nirkabel serta keterampilan teknis dalam konfigurasi router. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung pengembangan kompetensi siswa di bidang teknologi informasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dunia industri

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum as a fundamental pillar in shaping students' Islamic character in the era of globalization. Utilizing a library research method, data were collected from various academic literature sources, including scholarly journals, books, and official documents published within the last five years. The findings indicate that the PAI curriculum significantly contributes to the internalization of moral, social, and spiritual values among students. Strategies such as project-based learning, extracurricular activities, and the reinforcement of Islamic values have proven effective in shaping students’ Islamic character. However, the implementation of this curriculum faces challenges, including limited resources, inadequate teacher training, and insufficient time allocation for Islamic character education. The study concludes that the development of an adaptive PAI curriculum is essential to meet contemporary needs, integrating technology and value-based approaches. Furthermore, this research provides practical implications, emphasizing the need for innovative teaching methods, continuous teacher training, and supportive policies to ensure the effectiveness of the PAI curriculum in fostering a generation with strong Islamic character, capable of navigating modern challenges.

Abstract

Website adalah media yang digunakan untuk menampung data teks, gambar, suara, dan animasi yang dapat ditampilkan di internet dan dapat diakses oleh komputer yang terhubung dengan internet secara global. Website merupakan media informasi berbasis jaringan komputer yang dapat diakses dimana saja dengan biaya relatif murah. Website merupakan bentuk implementasi dari bahasa pemograman web (web programming). PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) merupakan bahasa pemograman berbasis web yang memiliki kemampuan untuk memproses dan mengolah data secara dinamis.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong integrasi konsep Robotika dan Internet of Things (IoT) dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan. Namun, masih banyak siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang belum mendapatkan akses atau pemahaman dasar terkait teknologi ini. Teknik robotika dalam kecerdasan buatan dapat dimanfaatkan dengan mengkombinasikan Internet of Things (IoT), oleh karena itu kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang dilaksanakan di SMK IT Darussalam Medan yang bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan konsep dan praktik dasar robotik dan IoT kepada siswa SMK IT Darussalam Medan melalui pendekatan workshop berbasis praktik. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemaparan teori, demonstrasi perangkat, dan praktik langsung menggunakan kit mikrokontroler Arduino. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan antusiasme peserta terhadap konsep dasar robotik dan IoT. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi titik awal bagi pengembangan keterampilan teknologi siswa serta mendorong inovasi di lingkungan pendidikan kejuruan

Abstract

 Farmers often have difficulty detecting pest attacks on shallots early due to limited experience and the use of manual methods that tend to be subjective. To address this issue, this study aims to develop an Android application that can detect pest attacks quickly and accurately using the K-Means Clustering algorithm. This algorithm analyzes five main plant symptoms: leaf color, leaf shape, soil moisture, leaf spots, and plant growth. The research method includes several stages, namely system requirements analysis, application design, implementation using the Java programming language and SQLite database, and testing with a black-box testing approach to ensure application functionality. In the classification process, user data is converted into numeric vectors and the distance is calculated using the Euclidean formula to three cluster centroids: Pest Free, Alert, and Pest Attacked. The application then displays the classification results directly and stores the detection history using RecyclerView. Based on manual calculations of the test data, the centroid of the “Alert” cluster shows the closest distance of 10.10 in the first iteration and gets closer to 5.05 in the second iteration after the centroid is updated. Test results show that the application can accurately classify plant conditions based on symptoms, effectively store and display detection history, and provide an easy-to-use interface that can function offline. Therefore, this application can be a useful tool for farmers in detecting pest attacks on shallots.
