Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to study the enhancement of mathematical communication skills of students who have gained the implementation of Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual (SAVI) approaches better than those who have learned scientific approaches. The approach used is a quantitative approach with the type of quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study are all grade X students of SMK Negeri 1 Nisam with a sample of TBSM II class students as an experimental class and TKJ I as a control class taken to use the purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques used in this research are mathematical communication skills tests of students and observation sheets. Data analysis was done using test-t, that because the data of the n-gain score obtained with normal distribution, but has a variance that is not homogeneous. The significant result of the statistics equal variances not assumed is 0.00 smaller than 0.05 H0 is rejected. The result showed that the enhancement of mathematical communication skills of students who gained the implementation of somatic, auditory, visual, and intellectual (SAVI) were better than students who gained scientific learning approaches.

Abstract

Background. The characteristics and achievements of each student are different. This is influenced by the methods, interests, talents, media, sources, environment, and even strategies of the students themselves. A blanded learning method that combines traditional classroom learning with online-based learning can make a big impact in the world of education. It will provide opportunities for students to learn with more flexibility. It also creates a more engaging learning experience. Purpose This study aims to find out how much the use of blended learning method affects students' achievement. This achievement is more specific to mathematics learning. This is because there are often difficulties in understanding mathematics learning by students. Therefore, the blended learning method is considered to be able to influence learning, especially mathematics. Method. The method used in this research is quantitative. This method is considered suitable as a measuring tool. This is because the effect of using the blanded learning method on student achievement can be measured by a number scale. So that it can be read or understood through graphs, percentages, or data processing. Research using quantitative methods that have the characteristics of using numbers will be more in line with this research. Results. The result of this study explains that the use of blanded learning method will affect students' achievement in learning mathematics. The blanded learning method that combines traditional and online-based learning will enrich the learning experience. Not only that, this method will also provide a combination of different methods, media, sources, environments, and even learning strategies. Conclusion This research can be concluded that the use of blanded learning method will provide innovation in learning. It will support different ways of learning from students. In addition, it will also help teachers in the flexibility of organising learning time. On the other hand, it will also help students who have difficulty in following face-to-face learning.

Abstract

This article is the work of dedication carried out by the five authors in Almendah Village, West Java, Sri Mulyo Village, Malang Regency, Hilimbulawa Village, Nias, and Lamahu Bone Village. During his service to different villages, the author discovered a number of the same problems, namely physical infrastructure problems in the form of building siring, roads, bridges, and so on. However, this problem is not realistic to be resolved if you look at your financial capabilities and the time you have. The only problems that can be resolved are the monotonous learning methods of TPQ, the decreasing enthusiasm for learning of TPQ children, and the increasing number of TPQ children who use digital technology in a negative way, namely addiction to online games. For this reason, the author chose a solution to provide CANVA application training to PTQ teachers with the hope that these teachers will teach it to TPQ children. The aim is to make learning methods more varied, PTQ children are happy and enthusiastic about learning again, and can use technology. digital with positive things. The latest news that the author received was that this learning method was well received by PTQ children and the hope is that the children's enthusiasm will return and they will be able to use digital technology well.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of STEM-based TPACK learning models on students' 21st century skills in Indonesia. This research is a meta-analysis research by analysing 13 national and international journals published in 2021-2024. The inclusion criteria in this study are that the research comes from SINTA and Scopus indexed journals, the research must be experimental or quasi-experimental methods, research related to the STEM-based TPACK learning model, the dependent variable is related to 21st century thinking skills consisting of critical thinking and problem solving, creative, collaborative and communicative, the research has complete data to calculate the effect size value, and the research must be open access and sample size > 28 students. Data search through google scholar, ERIC, Taylor of francis and Mendeley. The data filtering process with the PRISMA method. Data analysis is quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size value with the help of the SPSS application. The results concluded that the STEM-based TPACK learning model had a positive effect on students' 21st century thinking skills in Indonesia with an average effect size value (ES = 1.09) in the high effect size category. The findings provide information for teachers that the implementation of STEM-based TPACK learning is effective in developing students' 21st century thinking skills
