Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran  discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika ditinjau dari minat belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain 2x2 faktorial. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri di Kota Rantepao, tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas tujuh SMP Negeri Rantepao dan sampel diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dengan jumlah anggota sampel sebanyak 78 siswa.  Model pembelajaran sebagai variabel bebas, minat belajar sebagai variabel intervening, dan hasil belajar matematika siswa sebagai variabel respon. Model pembelajaran discovery learning digunakan pada kelompok perlakuan, dan model pembelajaran langsung digunakan pada kelompok pembanding. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar matematika dan skala minat belajar dan digunakan ANAVA dua jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran dan minat belajar mempunyai pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, dan (2) model pembelajaran discovery learning lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran langsung. Kata kunci: model discovery learning, model langsung, minat belajar, hasil belajar matematika siswa. ABSTRACT The major objective of this research was to investigate the effects of applying discovery learning on mathematics achievement in terms of students learning interest. The research methodology was a quasi-experimental and the design of the research was a 2x2 factorial. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri in Rantepao City in academic year 2014/2015. The population of research was made up of all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri Rantepao from where a sample of 78 students was obtained by using cluster random sampling technique. Learning model as the independent variable, students learning interest as intervening variable, and mathematics achievement of student as response variable. The treatment class group taught by using Discovery learning model. While the comparison group was taught by Direct Instruction. The data were collected using the mathematics learning test instrument and learning interest scale. The data collected were analyzed with two way ANOVA. The findings showed that: (1) learning model and interest in learning have an effect on student learning outcomes, and (2) Discovery learning model is better than Direct Instruction. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei yang difokuskan pada kemampuan mahasiswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar dan konsep diri mahasiswa dengan kemampuan pemecahkan masalah matematika, baik bersama-sama maupun sendiri-sendiri. Populasi penelitian yaitu mahasiswa semester ganjil 2017/2018 Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FMIPA UNM Makassar. Pengambilan sampel digunakan random kelas. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen: 1) skala motivasi belajar, 2) skala konsep diri, 3) tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Data dianalisis dengan regresi ganda. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah 1) motivasi belajar mempunyai hubungan positif dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, 2) konsep diri mempunyai hubungan positif dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, dan 3) kontribusi motivasi dan konsep diri terhadap pemecahan masalah matematika sebesar 71%. Diharapkan kepada peneliti lain untuk memperluas populasi dan menambah variabel bebas yang secara teoretis mempengatuhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika

Abstract

Education for a child is very important for motor development and his thinking becomes critical in responding to an incident. His skills can be honed properly and master skills that support his future career. So that the potential for the progress of each child can be achieved and learning objectives can be completed optimally. In life, of course, you will not be separated from various kinds of problems, so the solution to every problem must exist and be able to solve it. The problem based learning strategy is the answer to improve problem solving skills. This strategy is a problem-triggered learning model, which encourages students to learn and work cooperatively in groups to find solutions, think critically and analytically, be able to determine and use appropriate learning resources. For this reason, it is necessary to apply this method in education. The purpose of this research was to improve problem solving skills using the problem based learning (PBL) method. By maximizing this method many positive impacts will be obtained. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The data obtained is through the distribution of a questionnaire. The questionnaire was made using the Google form application. The results of this study explain that the use of problem based learning strategies to improve problem solving skills in education can help students solve problems with the right solutions. As well as sharpening the ability to think critically and systematically, so that they can be more mature in responding to various problems. The conclusion of this study is that the use of problem-based learning strategies to improve problem-solving skills by students can be maximized, because they have mastered the right and effective way to solve a problem. The limitation of this research is that researchers only conduct this research at the school level where the method requires new strategies in learning such as the use of problem based learning strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of teaching methods and formal reasoning abilities on students' learning outcomes. The research employs a quantitative research method and utilizes simple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 16. Regression is a statistical technique used to analyze the relationship between one or more independent variables and a dependent variable. The population and sample size for this study consist of 50 students. The results of the research lead to the conclusion that the simple linear regression test yields a Sig. value of 0.001 < 0.05. Based on decision-making principles, it can be inferred that X1 and X2 have a simultaneous impact on the variable Y. Therefore, it can be concluded that both the teaching method (X1) and formal reasoning (X2) have an influence on the students' learning outcomes (Y). This finding further strengthens previous research findings by employing a better methodology and a larger sample size, demonstrating that formal reasoning affects learning outcomes, although there are still other factors that influence learning outcomes, such as motivation, environment, and so on.

Abstract

At this time the world is experiencing rapid developments in science and technology, one of the factors that influences the world of education is an educator, especially early childhood teachers. Therefore, early childhood educators are required to be able to apply video media during learning. Educators in this era pay less attention to empowering learning videos in increasing teacher sensitivity. This research aims to find out how optimal the use of technology is. The method used in this research is quantitative research, data obtained from interviews with research objects. Based on the analysis carried out, research results were found which contained an increase in the effectiveness of early childhood teachers in carrying out the learning process by paying attention to video interventions. The conclusion of this research is that there is an increase in sensitivity by implementing video learning interventions for early childhood teachers. The limitation of this research is that it only focuses on video interventions, whereas there are many other learning media that function as alternatives for teaching and learning in the classroom. The researcher hopes that future researchers can conduct research related to teacher sensitivity using video intervention. This research also recommends that future researchers use the research as a reference in conducting research on video interventions.

Abstract

I am using educational game tools as learning media in playing while learning is an important topic in children's education. As an artificial intelligence, I cannot provide an analysis of this discussion because I cannot evaluate the truth of the debate or research methodology. This research analyzes educational game tools as learning media in playing while teaching activities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. Triangulation is the method used, which includes interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings of this study are that the use of educational game tools in learning can increase children's interest and motivation in learning and help develop children's social, cognitive, and motor skills. I am using educational game tools as learning media in playing activities while learning has great potential to improve children's learning. However, parents and teachers must do it properly and support its use. Further research must be done to reveal its potential, limitations, and influence on the child's development.

Abstract

Educational applications for early childhood (PAUD) are very important for growing children's cognitive abilities. Cognitive development in early childhood develops quickly and dynamically and can be influenced by many factors, such as the environment, opportunities and their own cognitive style. Cognitive development in early childhood includes thinking, language and behavioral abilities related to understanding, consideration, information processing, problem solving, deliberateness and belief. This research was conducted with the aim of creating educational applications that can improve the cognitive abilities of young children through various fun educational activities. Cognitive Development in Early Childhood: A Review of Educational Psychology is to use a quantitative method. The data obtained by researchers was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires. The distribution of questionnaires carried out by researchers was carried out online using Google From software. The results of research on educational applications to improve the cognitive development of early childhood can show several things related to educational psychology, such as, experience-based learning methods can encourage children's creativity. From this research, researchers can conclude that educational applications to improve cognitive development in early childhood are very effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini mengikuti metode desain dengan tiga tahap utama: persiapan dan perancangan, eksperimen pengajaran, dan analisis retrospektif. Melibatkan 69 subjek, penelitian ini menggunakan Trayektori Pembelajaran Hipotetik (TPH) sebagai panduan, melibatkan analisis kebutuhan, observasi, wawancara guru dan siswa, serta diskusi fokus dengan guru. Eksperimen instruksional melibatkan mahasiswa sesuai dengan rencana TPH, diikuti oleh analisis retrospektif menggunakan instrumen monitoring, evaluasi, dan lembar kemajuan kinerja. Dalam konteks pembelajaran berpikir kritis, kegiatan proyek Pembelajaran dan Pengajaran (PLP) melibatkan observasi, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta pendampingan kepada siswa, diakhiri dengan FGD bersama guru. Mahasiswa menunjukkan perubahan positif melalui kemampuan mengidentifikasi masalah, mengelola diskusi kelompok dengan konstruktif, dan merencanakan tindak lanjut melalui FGD. Proses pembelajaran ini tidak hanya memperkaya pengetahuan dan pengalaman mahasiswa, tetapi juga mengembangkan berbagai kompetensi yang diperlukan sebagai pendidik profesional. Studi ini menunjukkan keterhubungan yang cermat dengan realitas objektif, memenuhi kriteria reliabilitas, dan menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan terstruktur dalam pembelajaran kritis.  Kata Kunci: Desain Pembelajaran, Berpikir Kritis, Proyek PLP

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between formal reasoning abilities and student achievement motivation. The method used is a quantitative research method with analysis using product moment correlation, assisted by SPSS version 16. Correlation research is a type of research used to explore the relationship between two or more variables. This study aims to determine whether there is a statistical relationship between these variables and to what extent this relationship is correlated. As for this study, researchers used the help of SPSS version 16 in analyzing the data. The sample selection in this study used a random sampling of 30 students. The independent variables in this study are formal reasoning (X1) and achievement motivation (X2), and the dependent variable is learning achievement (Y). Collecting data on formal reasoning, achievement motivation, and student achievement using a questionnaire The results of this study indicate that formal reasoning and achievement motivation have a strong relationship with student achievement, with each sig. (2-tailed) 0.02 between formal reasoning and learning achievement, so that 0.020.05 is smaller than the r table, which means there is a correlation between formal reasoning and learning achievement. As for learning motivation and learning achievement, the sig. (2-tailed), namely 0.02  0.05, means there is a correlation between learning motivation and learning achievement. From these results, formal reasoning allows individuals to think logically and systematically, while achievement motivation encourages academic success. The two mutually reinforce and enhance each other, creating a productive learning environment and enhancing overall individual achievement.

Abstract

Abstrak – Dalam proses pembelajaran, penting bagi guru untuk memanfaatkan sumber daya pembelajaran yang ada dengan optimal. Penggunaan alat pembelajaran virtual, meskipun belum banyak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika, dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa secara signifikan. Google Colaboratory, sebuah platform berbasis web, menawarkan lingkungan yang dinamis untuk proyek berbasis Python dan eksplorasi pembelajaran mesin. Platform ini menyediakan fitur kolaborasi, interaksi real-time, dan akses ke sumber daya komputasi yang kuat, yang semuanya dapat meningkatkan pengalaman pembelajaran online secara efektif. Melalui pelaksanaan program pelatihan bagi guru SMP di Kabupaten Takalar, tujuan utamanya adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang metode pembelajaran matematika alternatif. Pelatihan ini menekankan pengembangan aktivitas pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan Google Colab, mendorong inovasi dan kreativitas guru. Hasilnya menunjukkan pentingnya pengembangan aktif dalam metode pengajaran, melibatkan teknologi dan inovasi, media pembelajaran berbasis konteks, serta penerapan praktis. Program ini bertujuan menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang seimbang, menghubungkan pengetahuan teoritis dengan keterampilan praktis dalam pembelajaran matematika.Kata kunci: Pemanfaatan Lingkungan Pembelajaran, Google Colaboratory, Pembelajaran Matematika.
