Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the government to establish a distance learning system and online learning in the implementation of education in Indonesia. Online learning is indeed not to difficult if carried out by normal students, but it is different for children with special needs, especially children with visual impairments who have limitations in their vision. The various problems implied by this pandemic have drastically changed the learning patterns of children with visual impairments. The porpuse of this research is to study further about the learning patterns of students with visual impairments at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. This research is included in qualitative research using descriptive method. The data sources used were 2 students with visual impairments in the Islamic Counseling Guidance Study Porgram. The Techniques used in data collection are interviews and documentation. The result of this study revealed that the leraning patterns of students with visual impairments during the Covid-19 pandemic at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta included: (1) independent learning patterns, (2) group learning pattern or discussions and, (3) guided learning patterns. Of the three patterns, the learning system that blind students go through is very different form face-to-face learning, starting from preparation for learning, how to do assignments and how to take part in learning that really needs help form various parties even though they have used supporting applications in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengenai pengembangan kurikulum merdeka pada pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) di MTsN 1 Yogyakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menunjukan pengembangann kurikulum merdeka komponen tujuan, materi, metode, struktur organisasi kurikulum, evaluasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalh penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dan analisis data dengan kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa di MTsN 1 Yogyakarta pada pembelajaran SKI sudah melaksanakan kurikulum merdeka serta melakukan pengembangan kurikulum pada komponen tujuan, materi, metode, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Tujuan pembelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka menggunakan capaian pembelajaran, alur tujuan pembelajaran, dan ketuntasan ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Materi yang diberikan guru SKI dengan menganalisis bersama-sama guru MGMP dalam menemukan materi dari kurikulum sebelumnya dan kurikulum sekarang kemudian di kondisionalkan. Metode yang guru SKI MTsN 1 Yogyakarta gunakan yaitu metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, bermain peran, dan proyek. Evaluasi pembelajaran dengan assement formatif dan sumatif. Hambatan guru SKI dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka yaitu pada kesulitan mencari sumber daya materi pembelajaran yang harus menemukan materi-materi dari sumber terbaru dan waktu yang belum cukup untuk melakukan proyek dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the concept of ta’dib in the thought of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and to explore its relevance to the implementation of the ISMUBA curriculum. The main focus of this research is to explain how the Islamic educational principles proposed by al-Attas can serve as a normative framework for reviewing the ISMUBA curriculum. This study adopts a qualitative approach through a literature review and descriptive analysis method. The data sources include the original works of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, official ISMUBA curriculum documents, and scholarly articles on ISMUBA curriculum implementation obtained from Google Scholar. The findings reveal that the implementation of the ISMUBA curriculum reflects the core principles of ta’dib as articulated by Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, particularly in its emphasis on the integration of knowledge (‘ilm), action (‘amal), and ethics (adab) within the educational process. The ISMUBA curriculum not only targets cognitive achievement but is deliberately designed to shape students' character and spirituality through a holistic and integrative approach. Nevertheless, practical challenges such as limited teacher training and inadequate infrastructural support remain significant obstacles that need to be addressed. This research can serve as a reference for curriculum developers and Muhammadiyah education practitioners in designing instructional strategies oriented toward the cultivation of noble character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji manajemen program pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal yang diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di MTs Arifah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru PAI, kepala madrasah, dan siswa, serta dokumentasi program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan program dilakukan melalui integrasi nilai-nilai karakter lokal ke dalam kurikulum PAI, pelaksanaan dilakukan secara terpadu melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler, evaluasi dilakukan dengan pendekatan kolaboratif, dan hasil akhir menunjukkan peningkatan karakter religius, sosial, dan kebangsaan siswa. Nilai-nilai lokal seperti sipakatau (saling menghormati), sipakalabbiri (saling menghargai), sipakainga (saling mengingatkan), dan kalambusang (kejujuran) diangkat dari cerita rakyat Syekh Yusuf dan diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan program pendidikan karakter berbasis Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di MAN 1 Kota Jambi. Fokus penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, organisasi, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, serta capaian program pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan dalam lingkungan madrasah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendidikan karakter di MAN 1 Kota Jambi dirancang secara sistematis dengan melibatkan berbagai komponen madrasah, mulai dari kepala madrasah, guru PAI, wali kelas, hingga peserta didik. Pelaksanaan program dilaksanakan melalui pembiasaan, keteladanan, pembelajaran di kelas, serta kegiatan keagamaan dan sosial. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala melalui rapat, supervisi, dan penilaian sikap peserta didik. Adapun capaian program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan sikap religius peserta didik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar penguatan sinergi antar komponen madrasah terus ditingkatkan untuk optimalisasi pengelolaan pendidikan karakter yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of character education based on religious values at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Pandanaran (MISPA) Yogyakarta, where character formation is cultivated as a living school culture. Grounded in pesantren tradition, MISPA integrates religious practices such as DDAH (prayer, dhuha, and Asmaul Husna), daily Qur’an memorization, congregational prayers, and thematic initiatives including the Anti-Bullying Declaration as structured habituation strategies that shape students’ everyday behavior. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that character education at MISPA is collaboratively planned, consistently implemented by teachers as role models, and continuously evaluated through behavioral observation and reflective practices. Character education emphasizes not only moral knowledge but also habitual action and the cultivation of religious awareness, aligning with the theoretical perspectives of Lickona, Bronfenbrenner, and Al-Ghazali. Despite challenges such as teachers’ workload, diverse levels of students’ awareness, and the influence of digital media, MISPA has successfully developed an educational ecosystem that fosters religiosity, discipline, and integrity

Abstract

Karakter religius merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting ditanamkan kepada siswa di sekolah agar tercapapainya tujuan pendidikan dengan baik dan mewujudkan siswa yang berkarakter Islami. Namun dalam prosesnya terdapat beberapa problematika yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis problematika yang dihadapi oleh siswa dalam pembentukan karakter religius di sekolah full day school. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (case study design). Sumber data diambil dari lima belas informan melalui wawancara mendalam yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, seluruh informan merupakan siswa dan guru yang ada di salah satu sekolah Islam terpadu full day school yang ada di Yogyakarta. Seluruh hasil wawancara kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Secara keseluruhan hasil analisis terdapat lima problematika pembentukan karakter siswa di sekolah full day school. Lima problematika tersebut yaitu: i) Problem internal, ii) Problem eksternal, iii) Perbedaan kebiasaan rumah dan sekolah, iv) Beban hafalan dan target akademik dan, v) Keterbatasan guru dalam pembinaan.Religious character is one of the important aspects that must be instilled in students at school in order to achieve educational goals and develop students with Islamic character. However, there are several problems encountered in the process. This study aims to analyze the problems faced by students in the formation of religious character at full-day schools. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study design. Data sources were taken from fifteen informants through in-depth interviews selected using purposive sampling techniques. All informants were students and teachers at an integrated Islamic full-day school in Yogyakarta. All interview results were then analyzed thematically. Overall, the analysis revealed five problems in shaping student character at full-day schools. The five problems are: i) internal problems, ii) external problems, iii) differences between home and school habits, iv) the burden of memorization and academic targets, and v) limitations of teachers in providing guidance.

Abstract

This study explores the role of interfaith experiential learning in fostering tolerant character among students at SMA and Pesantren Bumi Cendekia Yogyakarta through the Peace Tour program. This qualitative research employs a phenomenological approach to uncover the lived experiences and religious reflections of students and teachers engaged in the Peace Tour program. The study involved three participants: one teacher and two students who directly participated in the activities. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings show that Peace Tour serves as a transformative educational practice that integrates cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions through direct interaction with religious others. Students experienced a shift from initial discomfort to deeper understanding and appreciation of diversity, fostering inclusive attitudes and reinterpretations of Islamic values in the context of pluralism. The program’s integration into the school’s co-curricular activities and reflective discussions within the pesantren further reinforced Islamic values of rahmatan lil ‘alamin. This study concludes that interfaith experiential learning can serve as a pedagogical tool to instill tolerance and moderate character, as well as offer a best-practice model for Islamic educational institutions in multicultural societies. These findings imply that the Peace Tour program can be replicated and adapted by educational institutions and policymakers as an experiential learning strategy to foster tolerance and strengthen religious moderation among students.
