Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of leadership behavior and managerial skills of school principals on teacher performance at Sekolah Ekayana Dharma Budhi Bakti Jakarta. In this study, a sample was consisting of all teachers in elementary, junior high, senior high, and vocational schools under the Sekolah Ekayana Dharma Budhi Bakti Jakarta, totaling 44 individuals. The data used in this research consists of primary data obtained through a structured questionnaire and secondary data obtained from relevant documents and academic records. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire designed to assess teachers' perceptions of the principal's leadership behavior, managerial skills, and their own performance. The analysis utilized multiple linear regression, conducted with SPSS version 26. The findings indicate that the principal's leadership behavior significantly influences teacher performance. Principals demonstrating strong leadership behavior enhance teachers' motivation and discipline, which positively impacts their performance. Additionally, the managerial skills of the principal contribute to teacher performance by fostering an effective resource management and problem-solving environment. Collectively, both leadership behavior and managerial skills create a motivating work atmosphere that improves teacher performance and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi memainkan peran krusial dalam pembentukan perkembangan dan kelangsungan hidup manusia, tetapi mahasiswa dihadapkan pada tantangan tugas, kesulitan, dan kewajiban yang dapat mempengaruhi motivasi dan minat belajar mereka. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi peran Dosen Pembimbing Akademik (DPA) dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Keagamaan Buddha. Studi pustaka digunakan sebagai metode penelitian, dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa DPA memiliki peran kunci dalam memberikan bimbingan, motivasi, dan solusi terhadap masalah akademik mahasiswa. DPA terlibat dalam memberikan bimbingan pada awal semester, memantau kehadiran dan nilai mahasiswa, serta membantu menyelesaikan masalah akademik. DPA juga membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan potensi pendidikan, penelitian, seni, dan budaya. Meskipun faktor internal dan eksternal dapat mempengaruhi motivasi dan minat belajar mahasiswa, DPA berfungsi sebagai mediator yang membantu mahasiswa mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menyoroti peran integral DPA dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Keagamaan Buddha, dengan solusi yang merangkul pendekatan holistik untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi dan menciptakan lulusan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

This article covers aspects of prayer in the development of spiritual intelligence. The study aims to investigate the impact of the practice of puja bakti on the spiritual intelligence of Buddhist students at Bhakti Karya Kaloran High School. The study involved research subjects such as Buddhist religious students at Bakti Karya Kaloran High School in 2023 who were selected as samples of research. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The correlation value between the variable puja bakti to spiritual intelligence is 0.712. This value can be predicted that the relationship of the two variables tested is in the strong category. The results of the study showed a significant correlational relationship between the performance of bakti puja and the spiritual intelligence of students with evidence of a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05 and a t-count value of 6.251 > t-table 2,021, also contributing 49.6%. The recommendation from this study is to implement morning prayer routine and targeted in the school environment to enhance the spiritual intelligence of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang perspektif Agama Buddha dalam mengatasi kecemasan. Kecemasan karena tuntutan perubahan yang sering kali tidak diterima dan dilihat sebagaimana adanya, dalam agama Buddha kecemasan dipandang sebagai sebuah kegelisahan (Uddhaca) yang disebabkan oleh kemelekatan. Adapun beberapa cara bisa dilakukan untuk mengurangi kecemasan. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dipilih sebagai metodologi pendekatan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penyelidikan ini mengarah pada penentuan bahwa kecemasan, secara keseluruhan, merupakan fenomena bawaan yang dialami oleh individu. Selain itu, pendekatan untuk mengurangi kecemasan, menurut perspektif Buddhis, memerlukan pengembangan ketenangan batin dan pengembangan lima kemampuan yaitu keyakinan, usaha, kesadaran, samadhi, dan kebijaksanaan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and subjective well-being in Buddhist adolescents and young adults using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Fifty relevant scientific articles were systematically analyzed to identify patterns of empirical findings, methodological variations, and levels of cultural sensitivity in measurement. The results indicate that social support, particularly from family, peers, and the religious community (sangha), is consistently positively related to subjective well-being. However, most studies are still dominated by quantitative, cross-sectional designs and the use of Western instruments that are less sensitive to the values ​​and meanings of happiness in Buddhist culture. Measurement of subjective well-being primarily emphasizes cognitive and affective aspects, while the eudaimonic and spiritual dimensions receive relatively little attention. The limitations of longitudinal, qualitative, and mixed-methods approaches also limit our understanding of the temporal and contextual dynamics of well-being. Therefore, future research is recommended to develop culture-based instruments and employ more diverse methodological designs to produce more comprehensive and culturally relevant findings.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the pedagogical competence of Buddhist teachers through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Fifty authoritative journal articles published in the past five years were systematically analyzed. The results indicate that interactive teaching strategies, conducive classroom management, and assessment aligned with learning objectives contribute significantly to increased student engagement and motivation. Furthermore, the continuous development of teachers' pedagogical competence is a crucial factor in improving the quality of Buddhist learning. This study emphasizes the need to strengthen teachers' pedagogical competence to support effective and meaningful Buddhist learning.

Abstract

The development of higher education in the knowledge-based economy era demands strengthening students' innovative behavior as one of the primary learning outcomes. Innovation is influenced not only by individual abilities but also by social processes within the learning environment, one of which is through knowledge sharing practices. This study aims to systematically examine the relationship between knowledge sharing and students' innovative behavior, the underlying mechanisms, the forms of practices implemented, the educational context, and the outcome measures used in previous research. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 50 relevant peer-reviewed journal articles. The analysis was conducted using a thematic approach and narrative synthesis. The results indicate that knowledge sharing has a positive and significant relationship with students' innovative behavior, with varying strengths. This relationship is generally mediated by psychological factors such as self-regulated learning and innovation self-efficacy, and moderated by contextual conditions such as innovation climate and collaborative culture. Collaborative knowledge sharing practices, both face-to-face and digital, are the most dominant and effective forms in fostering innovation. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating knowledge sharing into learning design as a strategy for developing students' innovative behavior in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine research findings related to teachers' pedagogical competence in facing the challenges and opportunities of learning in an era of educational change. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of a number of relevant scientific articles published in reputable journals. The results of the study indicate that teachers face internal challenges in the form of limited digital competence and literacy, as well as external challenges including infrastructure and curriculum demands. Various studies also reveal an increase in the adoption of learning innovations, such as blended learning, project-based learning, collaborative learning, and the use of digital technology. Technology integration has been shown to have a positive impact on pedagogical effectiveness, particularly in increasing student engagement and understanding, as well as teacher professionalism. Furthermore, teachers' ability to adapt learning strategies to the cultural context, local values, and student characteristics is a crucial factor in achieving meaningful and sustainable learning.
