Abstract

Salah satu upaya peningkatan produksi padi adalah dengan pengembangan pertanian di lahan – lahan sub optimal yaitu dengan penanaman varietas padi yang toleran kekeringan seperti kultivar sirantau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan jenis dan dosis pupuk kandang yang optimum untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil padi sirantau. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2016 - Mei 2016 di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan pot faktorial dua faktor, menggunakan rancangan percobaan RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap).  Faktor pertama adalah jenis pupuk kandang, yaitu Pupuk kandang Sapi, Pupuk kandang Kambing, Pupuk kandang Ayam. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk kandang, yaitu 5 ton/ha, 10 ton/ha, 15 ton/ha, 20 ton/ha, dan 25 ton/ha,  masing – masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Variabel yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan total, jumlah anakan produktif, panjang malai, jumlah bulir per malai, persentase bulir bernas, bobot 100 gabah kering, dan bobot gabah kering perumpun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis pupuk kandang memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap variabel jumlah anakan total, jumlah anakan produktif dan bobot gabah kering per rumpun. Pupuk kandang ayam dengan dosis 10 ton/ha memberikan hasil padi terbaik dengan potensi hasil 123,13 g per rumpun (5,77 ton/ha).

Abstract

The Musi Hydropower-Plant catchment area is susceptible to soil erosion and sedimentation. Therefore, this research aimed to predict land use and land cover changes (LULCC) as well as their impact on soil erosion and sedimentation in the Musi Hydropower-Plant catchment area. The prediction of LULCC was calculated using Land Change Modeler module on IDRISI Terrset, while soil erosion and sedimentation were estimated with the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) and Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR) models. The result showed that forest cover and paddy fields decreased significantly from 18.580 ha and 4.044 ha to 12.907 ha and 2.019 ha, respectively, in the periods of 1993 to 2019 and were predicted to reduce until 2032. Meanwhile, the built-up area and dry agricultural land increased from 818 ha and 2.116 ha in 1993 to 2.229 ha and 5.778 ha in 2019, which is expected to increase until 2032. The estimation of soil erosion rate also gave an increase from 75 t/ha/year to 113 t/ha/year, continuing to reach 122 t/ha/year until 2032. The escalation of soil erosion rate contributed to the change of sediment yield from 68.048 t/year in 1993 to 103.190 t/year in 2019,which is estimated to reach 111.028 t/year. These results are expected to be used by decision-makers and policymakers for the operation of the Musi Hydropower-Plant and the catchment area maintenance.

Abstract

The nutritional status of toddlers is a common issue many countries face worldwide. Various facts indicate that malnutrition is a primary focus for many researchers. Several efforts have been made to address this problem, including developing analytical models for identification, classification, and prediction. This study aims to evaluate the nutritional status of children by utilizing a classification analysis approach using Machine Learning. This research aims to improve the accuracy of the classification system and facilitate better decision-making in stunted toddlers, which is a priority, especially in the health sector. The Machine Learning classification analysis process will later utilize the performance of the Naive Bayes algorithm, the Support Vector Machine algorithm, and the Multilayer Perceptron algorithm. ML performance can be optimized using gridsearchCV to produce optimal classification analysis patterns. The data set of this study uses 6812 toddler data sourced from the Health Center at the Tangerang Regency Health Office. Based on the research presented, Machine Learning performance in analyzing nutritional status classification provides maximum results. The results are reported based on a precision level with an accuracy of 88%. The results of this analysis can also present a classification of nutritional status based on knowledge. This study can contribute to and update the analysis model in determining nutritional status. The results of this study can also provide benefits in handling nutritional status problems that occur in children.

Abstract

In the digital era, information technology is transforming various aspects of life, including education and business. Electronic Signature (eSign) have become a significant innovation in document verification and authentication, offering time efficiency and reduced administrative costs. PT. Sankyu Indonesia Internasional faces challenges in document management with manual Signature s, such as loss, damage, and forgery. To address this, an eSign application integrated with QR-Code was designed. This solution speeds up verification, reduces the risk of forgery, and enhances document Security. QR-Code assists in quick identification and information access. Combining eSign with QR-Code in a web application simplifies administration and document management at PT. Sankyu Indonesia Internasional, improving efficiency and Security, while protecting document integrity. This research aims to develop an eSign application with QR-Code specifically for PT. Sankyu Indonesia Internasional, enhancing efficiency, Security, and ease of information access in the company’s document management, and supporting the application of information technology within the company. Abstract

In a culturally and religiously diverse society like Indonesia, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) must promote values of inclusivity, tolerance, and respect. This study aims to develop a conceptual model that integrates pluralist and multicultural approaches into PAI learning to enhance students’ inclusivity competencies. Using a qualitative methodology, the research adopts a systematic literature review analyzing primary and secondary sources, including academic books, journal articles, and policy documents. Content analysis was employed to extract key themes related to the implementation of pluralism and multiculturalism in Islamic education. The findings indicate that an effective integration requires the alignment of curriculum design, teaching methods, teacher roles, learning materials, and evaluation systems with inclusive values. It emphasizes that multicultural education focuses on cultural and ethnic diversity, while pluralist education addresses religious pluralism and interfaith understanding. Both approaches are complementary in creating an inclusive and peaceful educational environment. The study concludes that the conceptual model can serve as a foundation for reforming PAI by fostering tolerance, empathy, and cooperation among learners. It also suggests that further empirical research and implementation trials are needed to test the model in practice.

Abstract

Our annual activity, Community Service Internship, will be conducted this semester. Previously, this reporting activity was carried out by sending pictures via WhatsApp. So, we created a reporting system to make it more efficient. Now, the reporting process will be handled through a website and monitoring will also be done through the website. This will make it easier for both participants and mentors to carry out the activity," he said. The methodologies used are SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) for documentation and Prototype methodology for system design. ISO 9126 has been used for system testing with a functionality score of 84% and a usability score of 89.45%. So, from testing to system design to documentation, everything was done as per the requirements.

Abstract

Pengetahuan petani yang rendah tentang bagaimana melakukan diagnosa kesehatan tanah dan tanaman mengakibatkan ketidakmampuan petani dalam memutuskan apa yang seharusnya mereka lakukan ketika melihat adanya kerusakan tanaman. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani tentang teknik diagnosa kesehatan tanah dan tanaman, serta meningkatkan keterampilan dalam pembuatan pupuk kompos. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berlokasi di Desa Tik Kuto Kecamatan Rimbo Pengadang Kabupaten Lebong, Provinsi Bengkulu. Khalayak yang menjadi sasaran kegiatan adalah petani tanaman hortikultura. Metode pendekatan kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui dua cara, yaitu (1) penyuluhan tentang teknik diagnosa kesehatan tanah dan tanaman, serta (2) pelatihan keterampilan pembuatan pupuk kompos. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan petani tentang teknik diagnosa tanah meningkat dari skor rata-rata 1,50 (kurang tahu) menjadi 4,33 (tahu), sedangkan tingkat pengetahuan teknik diagnosa kesehatan tanaman meningkat dari skor rata-rata 1,42 (tidak tahu) menjadi tahu (4,17). Selanjutnya tingkat pengetahuan petani tentang pembuatan pupuk kompos juga mengalami peningkatan dari yang semula belum tahu sama sekali dan belum pernah membuat, setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian menjadi tahu dan bisa membuat pupuk kompos dari bahan-bahan sampah organik, khususnya kulit kopi yang banyak ditemukan di Desa Tik Kuto, Kecamatan Rimbo Pengadang Kabupaten Lebong, Provinsi Bengkulu. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan manfaat besar bagi petani, terutama untuk keberlanjutan usaha pertanian, sehingga ke depannya aktivitas pengabdian seperti ini perlu terus dilakukan.

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of self-efficacy on learning motivation. This research aims to find out how much influence self-efficacy has on the learning motivation of Buddhist students at SMPS Pelopor Mandau in 2023/2024. The research design applied in this study is descriptive quantitative, and data was collected using a structured questionnaire method. Data was taken from Buddhist students, who constituted 89 respondents. The correlation value of the self-efficacy variable with learning motivation is 0.702. These results indicate that the relationship between the two variables tested is classified as strong. The conclusion of this research shows that self-efficacy makes a significant contribution to learning motivation, with an influence percentage reaching 49.3%.

Abstract

Religious diversity in Indonesia necessitates strengthening tolerance to maintain social harmony, particularly among students. This study aims to analyze the influence of understanding religious moderation on the tolerance character of Buddhist students at SMA Negeri 1 Ampel, Boyolali. Employing a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected from 18 Buddhist students using a validated and reliable structured questionnaire. Simple linear regression analysis revealed a correlation coefficient of 0.766, indicating a strong relationship between religious moderation and tolerance character, with a contribution of 58.6%. These findings confirm that a higher understanding of religious moderation correlates with enhanced tolerance. The study adhered to ethical principles, including obtaining informed consent from respondents. The results provide a foundation for developing character education strategies based on religious moderation, particularly in Buddhist religious education, to foster inclusive attitudes in school settings.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the integration of a multisensory approach within a Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) framework to enhance intensive reading skills among English for Specific Purposes (ESP) students. The theory of multisensory learning, which emphasizes engaging multiple learning modalities, informs the study. Data were collected from 25 pharmacy students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kuningan, Indonesia. A qualitative case study design employed classroom observations, student interviews, and feedback surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of CLIL-based multisensory techniques. Thematic analysis was utilized to identify patterns and recurring themes in the collected data, providing insights into students’ experiences and outcomes. Results indicate significant improvements in students’ reading comprehension and engagement levels post-intervention. Using multimedia applications and interactive activities allowed for a richer learning experience and supported diverse learning styles. However, challenges related to unfamiliar technology usage highlighted the necessity for additional training for both students and instructors. The finding underscores the potential of combining multisensory learning with CLIL in ESP contexts, while also emphasizing the importance of professional development for educators to optimize teaching strategies. Future studies are recommended to explore the long-term impact of multisensory approaches on other language skills and their applicability in various educational settings.
