Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of STEM-based lectora inspire media to improve the student’s higher order thinking skills (HOTS). This research design was Research and Development (RnD). This research referred to the ADDIE model that included Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data were gathered through questionnaires and tests. The questionnaire technique was used to test the feasibility of the material and media used. At the same time, the test instrument was used to determine the increase in students’ HOTS based on the final results after using the product. The results showed that the developed media was categorized as feasible to be used as a student learning media with an average score of 93.745% of material expert judgment and 87.485% of media expert judgment. The responses of science teachers and students as users were 91.66% and 87%. Both concluded that the learning media was efficient. Paired sample t-test resulted in a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005, and the N-Gains test yielded a value of 58%. Thus, it can be concluded that STEM-based Lectora Inspire Media can improve the student’s higher order thinking skills (HOTS).

Abstract

Education is a process of activities to transfer knowledge from educators to students. Until now, education is carried out online, so there is a need for application programs to support learning programs, one of which is the Google Meet application. The google meet application is one of the learning support application programs that can be done audio-visually. This study aims to provide information related to learning opportunities and challenges during the pandemic through the google meet application. This research is a field research with qualitative research methods and based on a phenomenological approach. The phenomenological approach is an approach that is based on the experience of human life. The research subjects are high school students, especially in Sibrama Village. The data were obtained through interviews conducted through google forms which contained questions related to the phenomena that the authors studied. Apart from this, the author also obtains data from documents or previous research related to what the author is researching. The author analyzes, describes, and summarizes some of the data obtained. The data analysis method used is qualitative data analysis with descriptive-analytical techniques. The results of the study show that special students in Sibrama Village still rarely use the google meet application by educators for learning, while the application that is often used is the WhatsApp Group application.

Abstract

Perlunya pembinaan terhadap akhlak remaja untuk membentuk akhlak baik dalam dirinya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi orang tua dalam membina akhlak remaja dengan analisis dampak dari penggunaan media sosial di Desa Sibrama. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui proses wawancara. Guna mendukung hasil wawancara disertakan pula hasil persentase terkait penggunaan media sosial yang diperoleh melalui google formulir sekaligus untuk memperkuat analisis dampak dari media sosial bagi remaja. Setelah data dikumpulkan, berikutnya data direduksi yang selanjutnya dianalisis dan dilengkapi dengan penelitian terdahulu yang sesuai dengan pembahasan. Setelah tahapan tersebut dilakukan, berikutnya adalah langkah terakhir yaitu penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi orang tua dalam melakukan pembinaan terhadap akhlak remaja dengan cara pembatasan penggunaan media sosial serta dengan pemberian nasihat-nasihat. Sebesar 70,8% remaja menyatakan bahwa dirinya sering menggunakan media sosial dan mayoritas media sosial yang digunakan yaitu Instagram serta Whatsapp dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 8,3%. Dampak dari penggunaan media sosial terhadap akhlak remaja yaitu perubahan pola pikir dan perilaku. Sebesar 62,5% menyatakan bahwa remaja pernah menunda pekerjaan dan lebih asyik dengan media sosial. Berikutnya faktor pendorong dalam melakukan pembinaan terhadap akhlak remaja berkaitan dengan fasilitas yang tersedia sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah lingkungan atau pengaruh dari teman sebaya.

Abstract

Differences in views cause the need for scientific integration to create harmony. This is one of the efforts that need to be discussed and realized to minimize a dichotomy of science. This paper aims to analyze the integration of Islamic-science through a critical review of Ziauddin Sardar and its relevance in PTKIN. This paper includes the type of literature research with the acquisition of data collected through primary sources derived from Ziauddin Sardar's: "How Do You Know?: Reading Ziauddin Sardar on Islam, Science, and Cultural Relations" and a translated book by AE Priyono entitled " Jihad Intelektual: Merumuskan Parameter-Parameter Sains Islam", and supported by other sources with similar discussions. Data analysis is carried out based on the content and conclusions after the data is collected. The results showed that the purpose of Islamic-science is not to search for truth, but the Islamic ethos based on the Qur'an is used as a reference in science research and is also based on the will of the Muslim community. Sardar's principles of Islamization include Islam should be seen as an ethical framework rather than a state, the Qur'an should be viewed as an interpretive methodology to deal with contemporary issues, and Muslims should be active truth seekers rather than passive. The development of various PTKIN in the current era based on science integration shows that there is relevance or no rejection of the concept of Islamization of science.

Abstract

There is a debate among several sciences because there is no room for discussion so each science claims it is right. The current era deserves the spirit of integration of science to overcome this, especially between science and religion (theology). The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze the concept of integration of science and theology from the perspective of M. Amin Abdullah. The method that researchers use is a literature study, data is analyzed based on content (content analyze). After analysis, conclusions are drawn. The results showed that the integration of M. Amin Abdullah's science was called the spider web. He revealed that spider webs have a theoanthropocentric-integralistic pattern. The integration of science between science and religion (theology) has special implications for Islamic education for example, environmental theology which in Islamic education is taught the importance of environmental conservation. Thus, the integration of science with religion (theology) provides awareness to every human being to protect the environment as well as grounding environmental theology and cultivating clean living.

Abstract

Tidak berhasilnya tujuan dari pendidikan Islam salah satunya karena kurangnya perhatian baik kepada pemahaman atas tujuan pendidikan Islam, kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, ataupun konsep guru itu sendiri. Tujuan tulisan ini untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan pemikiran pendidikan Islam perspektif Ibnu Sina dan Fazlur Rahman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka dengan mengumpulkan serta analisis terhadap isi baik dari buku ataupun artikel ilmiah dalam kurun waktu penerbitan 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antara pendidikan perspektif Ibnu Sina dengan Fazlur Rahman keduanya saling bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi secara keseluruhan peserta didik. Akan tetapi, dari Ibnu Sina lebih memberikan penekanan terhadap pendidikan akhlak sedangkan dari Fazlur Rahman lebih memberikan penekanan terhadap pendidikan moral. Dari aspek kurikulum Ibnu Sina terdapat pembagian berdasar usia peserta didik sedangkan Fazlur Rahman lebih kepada pengaitan terhadap gerakan ganda dan bahasa. Dari aspek metode untuk Ibnu Sina seperti metode pembelajaran pada umumnya sedangkan Fazlur Rahman lebih kepada analisis dan pemahaman secara konteks. Dari aspek konsep guru, baik dari Ibnu Sina ataupun Fazlur Rahman guru harus mencerminkan akhlak mulia sedangkan perbedaannya terdapat pada perspektif Ibnu Sina yang mendominakan bahwa guru harus laki-laki.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyse the role of emotional intelligence in enhancing students' learning motivation from Daniel Goleman's perspective. The method used by the author is a literature review, collecting data from primary sources, particularly the book "Emotional Intelligence: Why It Can Matter More Than IQ" by Daniel Goleman. This is supplemented with findings from previous research relevant to the studied topic. After data collection, a selection process is conducted, followed by a conclusion. The data is then analysed descriptively and further examined through content analysis. The study results reveal that, as explained by Goleman, emotional intelligence refers to the ability to monitor and manage oneself and others regarding emotions, feelings, and behaviours. Students with good emotional intelligence tend to have higher learning motivation. Emotional intelligence plays a role in learning motivation by enhancing stress management, fostering perseverance, building self-awareness, encouraging a positive attitude toward learning, and improving the ability to cope with failure.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of IT-based audiovisual media in improving learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Using meta-analysis techniques, seven studies were analyzed, each meeting specific criteria such as publication within the past decade and a focus on Islamic education. The data analysis utilized the JASP statistical application, and additional information was collected via questionnaires distributed to 38 educators and 14 students. The results demonstrate that IT-based audiovisual media significantly enhance student learning outcomes, with an average effect size of 0.959, categorized as large. The findings reveal that commonly used media include PowerPoint, digital videos, and educational platforms like Google Classroom. While educators and students show moderate familiarity with IT-based media, their adoption remains inconsistent, with only 52.6% of educators frequently utilizing these tools. This research underscores the importance of integrating IT-based audiovisual media to foster active learning and improve educational quality in Islamic education. It highlights the need for further training and support for educators to maximize the potential of technological innovations in teaching. Future studies are recommended to explore the long-term impact of IT-based media on student engagement and academic performance across diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai kepribadian guru pendidikan Islam dalam kitab “Irsyadul Muallimin” Karya K.H. Taufiqul Hakim. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu literatur review dengan teknik pengumpulan data berdasar artikel atau buku yang sesuai topik. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis dengan penyajian secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai-nilai kepribadian guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam kitab Irsyadul Muallimin yaitu guru memiliki kepribadian menyenangkan dengan indikator proaktif, cerdas, empati, bijaksana, kreatif dan inovatif, selalu belajar, humoris, bersahabat, mengetahui kebutuhan siswa, adil, sederhana, komunikatif, sabar, rendah hati, penyayang, tegas, mengayomi, disiplin, menghargai siswa, ikhlas, berpikir positif, pemaaf, dan demokratis.
