Abstract

Masalah pada santri di Pondok Pesantren Modern Darul Ihsan Hamparan Perak adalah aspek pelafalan kosa kata dalam mata pelajaran muthalaah. Muthalaah adalah membaca yang menekankan aspek analisis dan pemahaman terhadap apa yang dibaca pada rangkaian cerita dalam bahasa arab untuk membiasakan santri memahami kalimat dan menterjemahkan bahasa Arab. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif, pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tujuan penelitian ini agar santri mampu membaca Al-Quran dengan fasih, agar meningkatkan cara berbahasa santri dengan baik dan benar, juga agar santri mampu berkomunikasi dengan bahasa arab yang tepat. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan pemahaman santri pada kosa kata bahasa arab sehingga memudahkan santri memahamicara berbahasa dan berkomunikasi dengan baik dan benar

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the demonstration method in memorizing short surahs at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal, Langkat Regency, and its integration into the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. This research used in the form of an in-depth case study to understand how demonstration methods are applied and integrated into the curriculum, as well as to identify the challenges and impacts of the application of these methods on students' skill skills.The results of the study indicate that the demonstration method, applied with thorough preparation and structured implementation, is effective in improving students' memorization abilities. Students find it easier to memorize short surahs with concrete examples given by the teacher. Observations and documentation reinforce these findings, with students showing enthusiasm and active involvement in the demonstrations. The integration of the demonstration method into the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum provides teachers with the flexibility to choose teaching methods that suit students' needs, creating a more dynamic and enjoyable learning environment. Periodic evaluations show a significant improvement in students' memorization abilities, proving the effectiveness of this method in helping students memorize short surahs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the communication skills of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering the habit of congregational prayer among students at SD Islam Terpadu Anak Sholeh in Langkat Regency. This study used a qualitative descriptive method by utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation for data collection. The results showed that PAI teachers effectively communicated the significance of congregational prayer through various methods, including short lectures, inspirational stories, and demonstrations, all of which were adjusted to the level of student understanding. The use of media tools such as images, videos, and audio further enhance instruction clarity. Adequate facilities and consistent teacher supervision was carried out for successful implementation. Evaluation through attendance records and moral assessments indicates improved student participation and discipline. Challenges, such as students' lack of awareness and disciplinary issues, are addressed through educational approaches and character-building programs. Overall, PAI teachers' communication skills significantly impact the habituation of congregational prayer, positively influencing students' character and discipline development. The study underscores the importance of effective communication in religious education to nurture essential spiritual practices among young students.

Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of using Canva-based interactive learning media in increasing students' understanding and participation in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The research method applied was a pretest-posttest experimental design using a control group and an experimental group. During the research, students from both groups were introduced to the learning material through conventional methods at first, but the experimental group was then given access to interactive learning media based on Canva. The results of the study showed a significant increase in understanding of the material and the level of participation of students in the experimental group compared to the control group. Statistical analysis showed significant differences between pretest and posttest within the experimental group, while the control group showed more limited improvement. This increase included aspects of understanding Islamic religious concepts as well as the level of student activity in the learning process. Implications include an in-depth analysis of Canva's effectiveness as a learning medium, challenges that teachers and students may face during its implementation, and suggestions for further development. The implication of this research was that Canva can be considered an effective tool in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning, integrating interactive elements that motivate students to be more involved in learning.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out how the process of implementing Islamic moral and faith (aqidah akhlak) learning and how the method of habituation and da'wah in character building along with supporting and inhibiting factors in the learning process. This research used qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out using interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique was data processing and data analysis which was field data analysis. The results of this study included (1) The implementation of Islamic moral and faith (aqidah akhlak) learning at Madrasah Aliyah Aisyiyah Binjai was carried out properly by the applicable curriculum by referring to the lesson plans used consisting of opening, core, and closing activities. (2) The method of habituation and da'wah had been going well by applying the method of habituation by getting used to good qualities so that students were accustomed to good morals and character. While the da'wah method could also make students better at learning. (3) Supporting factors in the implementation of Islamic moral and faith (aqidah akhlak) learning were parents. While the inhibiting factor was the lack of support from parents for the education of students and the family economy. (4) The effect of implementing the habituation and da'wah method in learning Islamic moral and faith was to bring a good influence such as students were more disciplined and active in learning, respectful and polite to teachers and parents, and getting used to obeying the rules that exist in school and no more students engaging in conflict.

Abstract

Active Learning merupakan salah satu alternatif metode yang dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan hasil belajar siswa, terutama dengan menggunakan tipe Card Sort yang terbukti efektif dalam mempermudah pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep yang diajarkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh penggunaan metode active learning tipecard Short terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fiqih. Pendekatan penelitian yang difungsikan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan setelah dilakukan metode Active Learning Tipe Card kepada peserta didik. Dimana sebelumnya sudah dilakukan pre test dan post test melalui uji normalitas data, uji homogenitas, dan uji t. Uji normalitas data menunjukkan nilai sig Kolmogrov Smirnov > 0,05 yang terbilang normal.  Uji homogenitas menunjukkan nilai sig Based on Mean 0,06 > 0,05 yang homogen. Sedangkan dari uji t peserta didik menghasilkan data dengan menunjukkan nilai output pair 1 diperoleh kedua significance sebesar <,001 dan nilai itu kurang dari 0,005 pretest kelas Ekesperimen dan posttest kelas eksperimen, juga pada pretest kelas Kontrol dan postest kelas kontrol menghasilkan nilai yang sama. Selain itu bisa dilihat dari table statiktik bahwa rata-rata dari skor postest antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen lebih tinggi rata-rata kelas eksperimen.

Abstract

The afternoon Qur'an recitation program is one of the efforts implemented in Desa Baru to improve children's ability to read the Qur'an. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the program in enhancing the quality of children's Qur'an recitation, covering aspects such as tajwid (rules of Qur'anic pronunciation), fluency in reading, and memorization of short verses. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews with instructors, child participants, and parents, as well as documentation of the children's reading progress. The research subjects include 20 child participants of the afternoon Qur'an recitation program, 3 instructors, and 10 parents. The results indicate that the afternoon Qur'an recitation program plays a significant role in improving children's reading abilities. The success of the program is influenced by several factors, such as varied teaching methods, the close relationship between instructors and participants, and active support from parents. However, challenges remain, including limited study time and a lack of interest in learning among some children. This study concludes that the afternoon Qur'an recitation program is effective in improving the quality of Qur'an recitation among children in Desa Baru, and it is hoped that this program can serve as a learning model to be applied in other villages with modifications according to local conditions.

Abstract

Fun learning aims to create a fun and interactive learning atmosphere so students are more motivated and actively involved in the learning process. This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning using the fun learning method and the ability of teachers to apply the proper learning method in delivering learning in public elementary schools. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Research data were obtained from two PAI teachers and three students through interviews, observations, and documentation as primary data sources. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning with the fun learning method in public elementary schools is carried out with various strategies applied, namely the use of interactive learning media, educational games, direct practice, group activities, stories, dramas, outdoor activities, awards and motivation and integration of Islamic values in daily activities. The ability of teachers to apply the proper learning method in delivering learning is influenced by several factors: understanding student characteristics, mastery of learning materials, creativity and innovation in learning, the ability to use educational technology, flexibility in using various methods, classroom management skills, evaluation skills and reflection and involvement in professional development. The implications of this research show that fun learning has great potential to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The ability to read the Quran to elementary school students is still a significant problem in the field of Islamic religious education, especially in SD Negeri No. 107826 Pematang Sijonam (SD Nege telugu No. 107826 Pematang Sijonam). This problem is due to the traditional and outdated applied methods of learning that do not engage students to learn. This study is conducted to see the effectiveness of the Index Card Match (ICM) method in improving students' reading ability in the Quran. A qualitative case study design approach is used. The subjects of the studies were Muslim students in the school. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive approach, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results obtained show that the ICM method can increase students' motivation to learn and skills in reading the Quran correctly. Moreover, this method also develops an interactive and collaborative process, making the learning environment fun and encouraging students to learn. Nevertheless, implementing ICM faces challenges as teachers need to prepare more to develop materials and guarantee adequate learning time. This paper suggests that the second method, ICM, should be more widely integrated into practice-based learning, even in subjects requiring more conceptual understanding. Moreover, there is a need for intensive training for the teachers to improve their skills in adequately implementing the ICM method. It is also expected that school policies would promote the utilization of this method by providing enough resources and time to ensure maximum impact on the quality of learning

Abstract

Scouting extracurricular activities serve as a platform for character development, particularly in integrating Islamic values into students’ daily lives. This study aims to analyze how Islamic values are embedded in scouting activities at MTsN Serdang Bedagai and their role in shaping the Pancasila Student Profile. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method, data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. Key informants included the head of the madrasah, scout trainer teachers, and students actively participating in scouting. The data analysis process involved reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that scouting activities significantly contribute to the internalization of Islamic values, such as faith, discipline, leadership, responsibility, and cooperation. Additionally, scouting programs emphasize knowledge acquisition based on scouting principles, technical proficiency in drills like Kolone Tongkat, and mindset formation guided by the Dasa Darma Pramuka (Scout Code). Students are encouraged to apply Islamic teachings through discipline, respect, self-confidence, and fairness, aligning with the principles of the Pancasila Student Profile. To enhance the integration of Islamic values, this study suggests strengthening Islamic based scouting curricula, improving mentoring for instructors, and incorporating structured religious guidance in scouting sessions. Furthermore, integrating community engagement and utilizing digital platforms can enhance character development. These findings contribute to discussions on Islamic character education and provide insights for madrasahs seeking to implement extracurricular activities as a means of fostering holistic student development.
