Abstract

This research aims to discuss the application of multi-sensor network technology for the monitoring of indoor air pollution. Indoor air pollution has become a severe problem that affects public health, especially indoor parking. The indoor air pollution monitoring system will provide information about vehicle exhaust emission levels. We have improved the system to identify six parameters of the vehicles' gas emissions within a different location at once. This research aimed to measure the parameter of Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Hydro Carbon (HC), temperature and humidity, and levels of particulates in the air (PM10). The performance of this system shows good ability to compare the results of measurements of air quality measuring professionals. In this study, we investigated the performance of a custombuilt prototype developed under the android-based application to detect air pollution levels in the parking area. Our objective was to evaluate the suitability of a low-cost multi-sensor network for monitoring air pollution in parking and the other area. The benefit of our approach is that its time and space complexity make it valuable and efficient for real-time monitoring of air pollution.

Abstract

Jalan Tanjung Barangan is located in Kecamatan Bukit Baru, Palembang City, which hydrologically is included in the Lambidaro river basin (DAS). Erosion occurred at several points along the road at Tanjung Barangan, with the dominant land use at the research location being housing. At this location, a landslide disaster occurred on December 25 2021. The aim of this research was to determine the value of erosivity, the amount of soil eroded per year and the level of erosion hazard using the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) calculation method. Samples were taken at 3 points on Jalan Tanjung Barangan where sieve and soil erodibility tests will be carried out in the laboratory. Furthermore, for the purposes of calculating erosion values, slope level, vegetation cover factors, secondary data was also collected in the form of rainfall data for 5 years at two rain post points, namely SMB II and Tanjung Barangan obtained from BMKG and the Ministry of PUPR BBWS Sumatra VIII, slope map slopes and topographic maps that will be analyzed together with the samples. The research found that the erosivity value of rain in the Lambidaro watershed was 235,374 kj/yr, eroded soil in the Tanjung Barangan area of Palembang City was 26.42 tons/yr/ha and the level of erosion hazard that occurred at the research location was class II with a mild classification, namely eroded soil. as much as 15-60 tons/year/ha.

Abstract

Salah satu limbah yang bermasalah di kota Palembang adalah limbah konstruksi, walaupun terdapat peraturan Walikota Kota Palembang mengenai tata kelola tempat penampungan sementara sampah, tetapi dalam praktiknya masih banyak pembangunan yang belum menerapkan perwali ini. Saat ini salah satu proyek yang sedang dikerjakan adalah pembangunan rumah susun Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) dengan luas bangunan 881 m² dan tinggi tiga lantai. Proyek ini berlokasi di pusat Kota Palembang dan perlu diketahui mengenai pengelolaan limbah konstruksi serta area pembuangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui cara penanganan limbah kontruksi proyek dan mengetahui cara penanganan limbah kontruksi proyek. Metode yang digunakan berupa wawancara dan pengisian kuesioner yang mengacu pada Greenship Building Council Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini didapat cara penanganan limbah yang dilakukan pada proyek konstruksi rumah susun Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) yaitu dengan menggunakan kembali (reuse), dijual kembali dan membuang limbah. Faktor yang dapat mepengaruhi terhadap pengelolaan limbah kontruksi pada proyek rumah susun Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) yaitu tenaga manusia, material dan metode Kata kunci : Limbah Kontruksi, Rumah Susun, Palembang
